- Constantly posting on social media to "market" your products is a rat race you need to get out of. It's just exhausting, mentally and physically, and yields little to no good outcomes most of the time. Here's what you can do instead.

I've been hearing this kind of advice more and more, and frankly, it's a relief. As someone who is just starting their own business, the pressure to compete with what's already out there is too much. Word of mouth is the best form of advertising anyway.

It's not horrible advice, but it depends on how much effort you put into it and how much fun you have doing it,. If you feel like it's a slog, if you're trying to get ad money from the stuff that doesn't seem worth it, then yeah, bail.

I used to love catching up with my subscriptions or binge watch old videos by creators I'd just discovered.
However, over the past few months, I feel more stressed than anything from trying to keep up.
I've already cut my subs list down through feeling I owed it to them to watch evrything but I was burning myself out doing it. I don't want to start losing my core favourites too now 🫤
