Hello! Would you be willing to measure your ski bike frame and handlebars? I would like to build a ski bike but I need to know what size first. I’ve looked online and I cant find measurements for ski bikes anywhere. Thank you and have a great rest of your day!
@@RealEastCoastJ you can also get the transformer 2.0 kit from sledgehammer (distributed in North America by the guys at skibyk) if you already have a good mountain bike. But yeah, tngnt makes great bikes and they are made in the usa, so less environmental impact from Chinese manufactured parts. Lenz is another big name. Sledgehammer bikes have a model with a motocross style seat if you prefer high speed carving while sitting down
Ski bikes usually have mtb handlebars (a bit of a rise and around the 750mm width), frames are really skiing specific since they don't have the same requirement has normal cycling. If you already have parts lying around, I know you can order a frame and skis separately. There's always the option to just buy the transformer 2.0 kit to just mount skis on any bcycle.
Sure, the Vans are great, look close at the ones I am wearing, very comfortable. Dont wear snowmobliing boots, buddy broke his foot, not enough support.
I’m 62 yrs old. I ride mountain bikes, I ski, I race motocross in the vet class. Is this my new sport? Does Mammoth allow these? Can I buy a “kit” for my mtn bike?
I'm going to try ski biking today and this video is getting me hyped!
How was it?
@@UNPAVEDTV I ended up only being able to try a Snow Pro, but I had enough of a good time that I'm going to buy a SkiBike for next season.
i wish those things had been around 30 years ago. looks fun af. from an old school bmxer.
What I was missing skiing all those years: a metal bar between my legs.
Fun video! And the music is good, too.
Nah, in the park?!?!? Time for a dual crown
great TITLE!
I’m lookin at people on shark tank trying to sell this
This is awesome! I can see the ski's need some rework. Inline ridges for better edging. It will only improve
do you think it will work as hardtait
The threading for the left pedal is bad. The right side is good, but not the left. Any suggestions please

Could you recommend a boot to wear while skibiking? I'm going in 3 weeks for the first time.

Yes check out Lenz Sport bikes. Most places allow, Mammoth not yet though. Check the web for resorts that do most in Tahoe, Colorado etc..
@@UNPAVEDTV Not surprised about Mammoth they were one of the last resorts to allow snowboarders!
