I love this Tent. The interior space is perfect for two persons. The stability with 4 trekking poles is storm & bulletproof. Only things what i missed was some corner tensioners for the inner and the nice windows from the dipole li version.
I bought a Dipole Li 2 this spring. I have used it in the field about a dozen times and pitched it in the yard probably twice that. There is a lot to love about this tent and it rapidly became my favorite. However, pitching it in the field on uneven ground while avoiding obstacles has been a rather steep learning curve. The tent definitely wants to be square so shifting a stake to avoid an obsticle translates into a sloppy pitch pretty easily. I've found a slightly sloppy pitch doesn't effect the tents over all performance in bad weather though. Two other surprises: 1) The tent stakes on the four corners take a lot of tension and I'm really glad it came with long stakes for those corners. 2) The staking footprint was larger than I expected and I needed to adjust my eye to find a large enough space to pitch. The tent did not fit on backcountry tent pads in Waterton National Park, Canada, without being staked off the pad. That was challenging. Despite this it's still my favorite tent (40 years backpacking experience). Love the venting and 360° views. Interior space is fabulous (I'm 6'5" and my wife is 5'7") Cheers
