I just discovered recently that the minigames that are ridiculously hard to unlock were actually supposed to be unlocked by using a device called a battle chip gate with certain battle chips in it
Aztec Falcon is animated so well, holy shit! Real talk though, these mini games are awful and they're not worth the painful process of getting 100 mission points.
I think it would have been better to have the 4 Guardians and Copy X as unlockable character and get to replay the missions of the game as them (kind of what Capcom does in DMC3 SE with the Vergil mode).

Thanks for putting this video up, my curiosity is satisfied! I would have been SOO pissed if I had put the effort into PERFECT scores only to get THOSE as my reward. I liked the Aztec Falcon throwback, though, some animation on him would've been nice!

Well,I guess they just rebuilt Aztec,but as a transport device though to his injuries. Anubis III did the same,Weil rebuilt him as well. They didn't rebuilt Phantom because apparantly they need the body,though Phantom exploded and the three remaining gaurdians were also caught in a blast,making them unfixable since there is nothing to fix. They really should put up explanations for dead reploids coming back all the time...
Damm I wish they would use Copy X appareance for the Original X aswell. Like his new and unique armor from now on, the Seraph Ultimate armor. It looks awesome. His minigame also looks good. I'm pretty sure it gets damm hard as you advance through it.
I do sorta agree. When I first owned the original GBA cartridge I only unlocked a few of the mini games and had trouble unlocking the rest especially for Fefnir and Leviathan. When the collection of these games came out for the DS (The Mega Man Zero Collection) I finally managed to unlock ALL the mini games for Zero 3 after SOOOO many failed attempts. Still haven't finished unlocking the ones for Zero 4 though.
The only thing I can say is that, the Ciel Minigame is basically Bosspider from Mega Man X1 put in a slow pace. And I enjoyed yet hated the Hidden Phantom one. So yeah, they're pretty rubbish!
Clearing the game with all S-ranks is too hard to get. Probably, Capcom wanted players to try harder, because players were not aiming to get a good rank, so you get a mini-game of this cute girl named Ciel's. Capcom thoughts were probably, "Who can resist Ciel's cuteness?" Getting 100 points is also hard, and it's probably something Capcom wanted players to try for real to unlock some cool mini-games. Is there an easy way to get them? Megaman Zero/ZX Legacy Collection will be out soon.
@@tikatinu505 I did beat the game, but not with an S-rank, because I suck. Other players who beat the game cleared every mission with an S-rank on their first time beating the stage. You were right about all s ranks is not hard.

i've manage to unlock all of the minigames (ciel and harpuia minigame are my favourite lol) and shit happens, the save data is deleted -____- , stupid cartridge .___.
Looking at this video, I'd assume that the people at Capcom and Inti are Wario Ware fans. Obviously these mini-games don't have the campiness of Wario Ware's unlockable mini-games (not to be confused with the microgames), but it's the same ol' "repetitive task for high score" schtick. Honestly though, if I unlock any mini-games other than Zero's, it'll be more out of boredom than anything. I can tell that they're really not worth the crap I'd have to go through to get them.
Oh my lord, that animation on the Harpuia minigame is terrible... Despite that, these minigames look like a cute little bonus/distraction. I don’t know if it’s worth going through the insane prerequisites to get them though.
My faves are Fefnir's and Phantom's, Ciel's game is way too hard for me. Figures, it was made by a woman of the rare breed of Intelligent Blondes! Mess with one and your in for serious trouble =)
The only ones I've seen are Zero's and Copy X's. After seeing all these, I'm not sure I wanna unlock the rest. Zero's is the only one I really like. Can you best my score of 1,278? (Doubtful if you can). Still, I liked seeing these anyways.
