I have had two MHX 7’3” snap 5” from tip during while performing a deflection test I still think they’re great rods. I’ve been working with mud hole.

Iv been using braid fishing line for pull through hollow core 60 lb 80 and works awesome easy to find to

I just use Size D thread to pull the others through, but they eventually break over time. Thank you for watching and commenting.

@@reelbluecustomrods no problem I used to use the thread as well, but the braid is super awesome. It lays flat on the rod and pulls through easily last a long time tie two or 3 knots at the end of it easy to grab

Are you using CP on the nylon? Or straight finish over it?
