He was trying....crowd didn't really participate in the 'jumpstart" at the beginning of the song...not sure if Crowd was just sluggish/tired, language barrier maybe, etc....

Think i saw matt say recently its because these festivals use their own settings for these things so they cant use their own

Paolo does not scream into his mic, so mixing people probably do not pad his input as hard as Matt's and Corey's due to probability of him clipping the mic being very low.

Goddamn Alex Bent is a human metronome! Plays to the tempo of the album and he didn't even write the song...colour me impressed. Loving what he's done for the band!
@Rafly Agusta Definitely, but I don't know if Nick Augusto played with one or if he purposely set it to a higher tempo.
@@DoubleD_93 Well... In this case we have two situations: or did he set the click to be on a faster tempo or he didn't used one at all. But, in this case, Alex uses a click track. So he's able to play at the right tempo.
All of Trivium Drummers after Travis play to a click all the time... Nick, Mat and Paul played to a faster click, that`s all.
@@EstevanDrummer thats not true at all. Nick's tempo fluctuated like CRAZY constantly. If there was a click in his in-ears, he certainly wasn't playing to it, guy couldn't hold a tempo to save his life.

Because Paolo (the bassist) is a tenor. Matt Heafy (the lead vocalist) is a baritone. They have different type of voice.

Man, Paolo's back vocals on this one and Beyond Oblivion are actually amazing! Great tight performance! Probably top 3 bands that play amazingly on live performances. :) \m/
I’d put Lamb of God and Gojira up top for my favorite live bands. Oh and Parkway Drive; they’re amazing.

Every time I listen to the current iteration of the band, I marvel at how well the 4 of them get along, and it shows in every aspect of their work. There's a reason why I have no problem saying that Trivium is my favorite metal band. I hope that doesn't change.

Paolo is a pretty good singer, but his nasally high pitched singing really doesn't fit.
I guess it would have been ok if they turned his microphone a bit
The harmonies were pretty good but when he was going solo he sounded off, probably because that part is actually harmonies on the album.
Cheese is Jar even if you listen to the live recording at Chapman Studios a few years back his voice sounded like the “correct pitch”
Here he sounds like he’s an octave too high.

I saw them at Soundwave back in 2014. One of the best acts I saw on the day. Would highly recommend if you get the chance.

I miss Nick Augusto 😢 i remember smoking weed with that dude in Charlotte, North Carolina. 2012 They were opening up for asking alexandria at the amos southend. Good times

At this point since Matt’s vocals are totally shot, Corey’s are way better
James Attwood he did but the dude can barely sing anymore. His voice has ZERO power, it sounds so soft when he sings Live
@@killinit913 He uses a technique that allows him to preserve his voice a lot, both while singing and screaming
Unfortunately it makes him have a weaker voice overall, but I guess it's better than having him blow his voice out again
He still can pull of his screams and growls from back then but he tends to just do that when recording
