Thank you! ❤️❤️ Definitely get all the sulky. They even have a white glowy which would probably be a great alternative to DMC if you already love the sulky brand! 😍
Ooooo thank you so much for this! I still haven't bought any and this may be what I needed to know a little better what to get. Really looking foward to Part II 💕🦄
I've tried the DMC and the Kreinik #4 braid, but now I want to try the Sulky too. I think the Kreinik Ribbon might work nicely as a hanger for a Halloween ornament.
This is so cool!! Thanks for doing this. I can't wait to get some of these into fun projects. I have used the DMC ones before and I love the glow, but my stitches always look sloppy! I had no idea they came in different colors!
This video is awesome! Thank you for going through every one and showing the thickness of each brand and their lighting effects! Question- do you use the thread gloss on every cross stitch or just for glow in the dark/threads that are not cotton? Annnddd, do you have issues with the gloss gunking up a project?
I use it for every strand now. I have never had an issue with it gunking up. It just keeps the floss from getting that fuzzy look. Keeps it nice and clean throughout the whole stitch. I use especially long strands for stitching (not with specialty thread like the glow in the dark, but regular floss) and it keeps them from fuzzing and fraying and it keeps them from knotting. I get way less knots now that I use it so it saves me time
Thanks for sharing Steph. So the Kreinik shine the coolest. At least from what I can see. Really cool comparison.
Their glow is great. I need to work on stitching up the blocks to see them all side by side. 😍
Just got round to watching this and I am deffo going to get some glowey sulky ! I love stitching with sulky - great videos ! X

I am hoping to make it this weekend. 🤞🏻🤞🏻
@@SEWGloverCreations yay!
Thanks for this. I've only used the Dmc before and didn't know Sulky had Glow in the Dark.
I just stumbled onto them recently! So much fun to use.

Oh I bet the ribbon would make for a good strand of cording. 😃 definitely try the sulky. I’m really enjoying it

It’s been so fun to test these. My nerdy self wishes these were available when I was doing science fair cause it would have been a great experiment.
You just gave me the idea to try thread wax stuff on the dumb DMC metallic thread I dread working with on one of my projects.
Did you like it? I find it much easier to work with.
I don’t use glow in the dark much, but this is an interesting comparison.
It’ll be better to see them all out on aida.
