- Can withstand subzero temperatures.
- Can withstand the bright light of the arctic ice & snow.
- Serrated claws.
- Sharp eyesight.
- Sharp tail spikes
- Difficult to read (If Mindreader)
- Exhale Frostbreath (Can cause limbs to fall clean off. Fatal if breathed directly into you. Only cure are enchanted narwhal horns or very hot items).
*Weaknesses*
- Cannot withstand hot temperatures.
- Cannot breath Frostbreath if too warm.
- If Frostbreath is breathed directly into someone, they can survive by immersing themselves in lava.
- Difficulty scenting things properly in crowded environments (Forests, towns, schools, ect).
*MudWing Strengths*
- Can hold their breath for up to an hour.
- Breathe fire if warm enough.
- Physically strong.
- Capable of camouflaging into mud and dirt.
- Can use mud to ease pain and help treat wounds.
- Fight in sibling groups.
- If hatched from a blood-red egg: Resistant to fire, survive lava for short periods of time.
*Weaknesses*
- If one of the siblings in a sib group dies, it could falter the rest of them briefly.
- Their large appetites could be an inconvenience.
*NightWing Strengths*
- Nocturnal.
- Can blend into the shadows and the night sky.
- Breathe fire.
- Bacterial mouths (Can poison bloodstream).
- Powerful night vision.
- Strong sense of smell.
- Moon powers (Mindreading, prophecy, telepathy).
*Weaknesses*
- Cannot see in total darkness.
- Tend to underestimate opponents (True for most but there are exceptions).
*RainWing Strengths*
- Prehensile tails.
- Long fangs.
- Corrosive venom (Deadly if it reaches the bloodstream or eyes).
- Color-changing scales.
- Mimic bird calls.
- Gain energy through photosynthesis.
- Regal bodies.
- Skilled at tree locomotion.
- Can see better in the dark.
*Weaknesses*
- If deprived of sunlight, scales may be duller or unchangeable.
- Blind RainWings cannot manually change their scales.
- Sunlight is vital to the development of their abilities, such as venom and mood.
- Strong emotions can break camouflage.
- Venom only affect organic materials.
- Venom will be neutralized by contact with the venom of a blood relative.
- Dragonet venom is weaker then adult's.
- Cannot see very far.
- Not long-distance fliers.
- Not accustomed to deprivation.

- Breathe fire.
- Can camouflage within sand.
- Slow metabolism (Go for days without food).
- Good hearing.

- Venomous barbed tails (Can kill a full grown dragon if not treated).

- Younger SandWings do not develop venom until they're older.
- Brightsting cactus can cure their venom.
- Claustrophobic.
- Have a hard time withstanding colder temperatures.
*SeaWing Strengths*
- Exceptional night vision.
- Can breathe underwater.
- Strong tails.
- Good swimmers.
- Physical wounds can be healed by ocean water.
- Bioluminescent stripes (Used for non-verbal communication, can also blind opponents).
*Weaknesses*
- Dehydrated SeaWings are at risk of going mad.
- Over-water combat isn't their strong suit.
- Some SeaWings dislike rain.
- Lack any breath abilities.
*SkyWing strengths*
- Fast fliers.
- Breathe fire.
- Considered powerful fighters.
- Can see things from very far away.
- Good cold resistance.
- If Firescales: Immune to Frostbreath, melts anything that comes in contact to them.
*Weaknesses*
- If Fireless: Unable to breathe fire, more sickly.
- Prefer higher grounds.
*HiveWing Strengths*
- Can have deadly stingers.
- Can have paralyzing toxin.
- Can have boiling acid.
- Can emit horrible stench.
- Have a precise internal clock.

- Paralysis ability can be undone by a strong stimulant.
- Do not have a breath ability.
*LeafWing Strengths*
- Gain energy through photosynthesis.
- Exceptional knowledge of plants and insects.
- May posses Leafspeak.
- Can be safely assumed they are descent swimmers due to their webbed spines.
*Weaknesses*
- Leafspeak ability is genetic "selective breeding may be employed to achieve stronger Leafspeak abilities".
- Small population.
- Do not have a breath ability.
*SilkWing Strengths*
- Antennae can sense vibrations in the air (Can predict the weather).
- Great climbers.
- Can produce silk.
- Have a precise internal clock.
- If Flamesilk: Can produce yellowy-hot silk of different kinds, immune to other Flamesilks.
*Weaknesses*
- Must go through Metamorphosis at a certain age to attain wings and silk glands.
- Flamesilk is genetic (Dragonet cannot be Flamesilk if neither parent has it).
- Do not have a breath ability.

I'd say Sandwings, Icewings, and Rainwings are the strongest of pryhhia, though if their abilities are used correctly, Skywings can be very strong as well.

I think the rain wings are the strongest because they can kill anything on site with the venom and the dragon they’re attacking can’t do anything about it because they can turn invisible
I had always thought RainWings were the most powerful mostly because they can go invisible and spit magical death spit. But honestly I think IceWings should place 2nd because the serrated claws, frost beath and extra spikes.
Yeah, they can be great fighters, especially because their frost breath can even cause dragons to lose limbs.

I'm not sure if rainwings are the strongest just because we don't know to much about there venom also there only really strong in certain settings such as Arctic and crowded areas there venom is not that long of a range i believe and I think skywings can likely just stay out of range of there venom and kill them with there fire. Also they can't constantly shoot venom so if your able to avoid it you can move in close to kill them there camouflage is powerfull but they can be found with stuff such as ice and fire breath attacks and also the hivewing stink ability would work really well on them.

5:03 in the times of Darkstalker, when Queen Anaconda was the queen of RainWings, they were actually trained to fight and didn't hesitate to use their venom. I forget who mentions this but in the Darkstlker book its mentioned they were the most feared and deadliest tribe in prehistoric phyrria
For me the strongest would be rainwings with the icewings coming a close second. But icewings could be the strongest if they were more resistant to hotter enviroments, that's their main weakness really

I think it would be the Hivewings, because you forgot this, but some can SHOOT stingers from their tails as projectiles, which means its basically a biological version of the Rainwing darts.

They used to be very dangerous thousands of years ago and were the most dangerous tribe
All tribes are unique and powerful in their own way but some like rain-wings are way more powerful than a lot of them

I would think about the tribes that included animuses too! about 1,000 years ago in Pyrrhia the animus gene didn't really go extinct yet in some tribes, especially Sky Wings, Sky Wings were still canonically killing the dragonets who were animuses after *spoiler* Albatrosses incident with the SkyWing princess and her guards. Ice Wings still had animuses in their tribe before it got passed to NightWings. Sand Wings still have animuses such as Jerboa 2. other Sand Wings are unknown so far in present time. Rain Wings, Mud Wings, and Pantalan dragons are known for not having animuses so far in the series. I would say that Night Wings could be potentially the most dangerous if they were living in a habitat or area that wasn't shrouded with smoke like on the Night Wing island, so any of the 1-3 moons couldn't shine. I would say that if the Night Wings weren't weakened, they would be the most powerful. They are good with experimenting with power and are naturally smart and clever. They would have more Night Wings with special abilities if they left their eggs out while the moons shone down. (Sorry for the long comment.)
I would say IceWings are the strongest tribe because they can survive in the cold, breathe frostbreath, and withstand bright light.

- They can withstand bright light, meaning the nest little SeaWing flash trick wouldn’t work on them.
- They have serrated claws which are described to be like “four claws slashing you at a time instead of one”
- They can withstand subzero temperatures with ease, making them able to live in an untouchable kingdom, as no other tribes can go into the Ice Kingdom for prolonged periods of time and survive. (Without the gift of diplomacy)
- They can exhale a deadly frost breath which can damage dragons severely, as shown in Dune’s case.
- They can grip the ice with their claws. If they were to fight other dragon tribes on ice they would for sure win, they would gain the upper hand quickly as their opponents scrambled around.
- The spikes on their tail are deadly. They could quite possibly split a dragon’s skull open, and can knock dragons out with ease, or cause some serious wounds.
-they have the upper hand of camouflage in snow. They could easily ambush dragons in the snow with their pale scales. The NightWing-IceWing war would be won by IceWings if Darkstalker hadn’t existed, certainly.
These are great factors! Who would you say is the strongest? For me, I tied Rainwings and Icewings for first, but I think rainwings take that spot. Sandwings definitely come after tho. And for Pantala, it's def Hivewings. Would you say a Hivewing is more powerful than an Icewing or Rainwing tho?
Good points! I agreed with icewings because of those facts and I feel like if an enemy dragon jumped on its back, they'd be stabbed by the huge spikes on the back. And I think Rainwings are not the strongest because they have little to no muscle and venom can be dodged if you saw where it was coming from.
Each dragon has an ability that makes them unique
I'd say RainWings & HiveWings are the most powerful... weakest tribes imo would be the SilkWings, MudWings & SeaWings, overall I agree and I've given this video a like.

I think something seawings have an advantage in is if there is ever another war or a queen decides to follow in wasps footsteps and try to take over, they could just swim down to the deep palace and no one could do anything to them. The only dragons who could do anything would be mudwings, and even then we don't know if they could hold their breath long enough to get down to the deep palace and actually do any damage.

This video actually helped me a little with sorting out how powerful my OC is! Thank you! Although, I do think that the Nightwings and Icewings would switch spots for 2nd and 3rd place sometimes. Nightwings being better culturally and tactically but Icewings are physically more powerful. Just something to keep in mind when making lists, to remember what you're listing.
I personally think it depends on the dragons genetics, and how hard they train, what they eat, etcetera. Because depending on the dragon any abilities can beat others with strategy and strength, obviously seawings in my opinion are weakest but they could train to be stronger then average mudwings!
Keep in mind I mean physical strength
I love seawings so heres my argument for them;
1; Seawings have better night vission than nightwings, witch is helpful.
2; Their tail is nearly deadlt, as it described that they can crack skulls with it.
3; This is isnt, really proven but it makes sense, as they live in the water so they would be very muscular, and there for veray strong.
4; They have Tsunami.
I don't know seawings seem pretty weak once their in the sky or on land. Also the abilities they do have aren't that special, many real animals possess their abilities.

Another contributing factor to Seawings are the glowing scales which can momentarly blind an opponent

Tbh, this is agreeable, the Rain wings literally almost got destroyed by the Night wings. But I would make a few changes, like ranking Night wings and mud wings a bit higher, but it is quit agreeable. Good work.
i think sandwings are the most powerful cause your either gonna end up with a deadly stab from the tail or a burnt face (they can breathe fire but they don't use it much since they got their scorpion-like tail)
Nightwings are my favorite, but Rainwings definitely have the potential to take over the world. I remember in Darkstalker they used to be a tribe others were wary of. I would like Seawings more then Nightwings, if they had more offensive abilities.
Icewings are the most powerful tribe in my opinion. They have serrated claws which are super sharp, they have a giant ice cliff, until snowfall, that protects them for anything, they have a ton of gifts, so they cant be sieged or anything like that, because they will never run out of food. They have whip-thin tails that can hurt people badly. They also have Super sharp spikes to stab people, and frostbreath that hurts any dragon (except peril), and they are pretty strong as well.

I am aware that this video isn’t taking special powers into account, but here is why I think that with special powers Seawings are the best in an All out War scenario
While they are low on the list, I personally believe that Seawings would have the advantage in an all out war simply because their home is pretty much completely safe from every other tribe, and if we were to actually include special powers, they have Animuses (Anumi?) and that would mean that they could use the powers from the Animuses to keep themselves safe from any Icewing, Sandwing, or Nightwing enchantments
SilkWings attenae might actually be pretty helpful. They can sense an invisble dragon. Still, RainWings just have to shoot venom and it's over
I feel like mudwings are still really powerful its just the other tribes just have more going for them, especially the icewings who can shoot ice breath ( which could take away the mudwings only long-ranged attack which is fire because of the fact they need to be warm to use it)
Yeah we don’t really know much about mudwings, unfortunately.
I say rainwings are most powerful due to their camouflage scales. They can be completely invisible and only a silkwing can sense them. They also can disguise as any other dragon tribe except for the ones with four wings. Also developed sleeping darts which is quite effective if you read the books. Also the fact they can grab you with their tails make them very dangerous. Tripping you up or you having to split your focus while fighting them. Also since most soldiers don’t wear armor, venom is very deadly. Perfect distraction while in a fight. You try focusing on a fight when your skin is burning. They are the perfect assassin too lol
If a leafwing with leaf speak were to carry a dragon flame cactus, then make it grow big and have nuke.
Before the Tree Wars, the LeafWings were the Pantalan superpower. They would have won the war if the SilkWings did not join the HiveWings
All though this list is very good I personally think that it would be better to add the extra powers and rate them as a tribe

I would have put SeaWing second, due to their lack of fire/poison/other’projectiles. I would also have put SandWings higher up, as they have both fire and poison. They also have brilliant eyesight and can fly well in the desert, unlike most other tribe

I personally think it’s the rain wings too cause in the books they said they have the most powerful weapon in Pyrria and is to coward to use it and I personally agree cause I mean, venom and camouflages pretty impressive
RainWings are definitely useful in hit-and-runs and surprise attacks. But on a long-drawn 1 vs 1 fight, the RainWing has a high chance of losing. The enemy would be able to pinpoint where the RainWing is with sound/scent and uses its intelligence (e.g. throw mud/sand on the RainWing so their body can be seen even when they camouflage) to target them. RainWings are also physically weaker and smaller so their energy will deteriorate as the fight drags on.

I feel like rain wings are a bit op but that's just my opinion, who else has made up their own species, i have, here's the list: Death wings, Nature wings, Bird wings, Gorge wings, Unknown and more ;-;
I have my own original tribe, too! I might make a video on them.
I have like 20(about 26 now) lol all like with kinda original names, like flaminxgo, and like aligora, and ect but there like not even close to wings of fire tho, now that I think about it because like flaminxgo has 2 small arms big legs with no feet and its kind of like stilts with a hole in the back of the foot to paddle with, and a big thick tail and covered in fur... so uh they kinda stray from dragon more like made-up creatures. Still, some of them are dragon-like, aligora, it has 2 sets of wings, one as an arm-like thing. One as just plane wings its scaley with like feathers and has hollow bones, and it has 2 back legs... I've like made a whole ecosystem now and whatnot, but I have drawn like a food chain with all these and have even drawn a map of what the world looks like so that's cool.
Also, sorry for my grammar or anything else wrong with what I typed. I have dyslexia, and prob wrote some things wrong.
I agree with all of your rankings, though I do the Icewings are higher than the Nightwings
So obviously the most powerful dragon would be a tie between Darkstalker and peril. But tribe wise, I’d think rain wings wouldn’t be the best only because of their lazy reasons. For hundreds of years they didn’t even dare use their venom so making that useless. The are ways to easily dodge rainwing venom like using shields. NightWing are cowards and weak. SandWing should are powerhouses and so are Icewings. But a pvp between them both in a mild temperatures arena, icewing would win.
Darkstalker is very powerful, same with Peril.

I agree with Darkstalker, but i think before animus magic was gone anemone turtle or anyother animus could have just canceled out her powers in someway so she couldnt use her scales. But yeah, since they dont have that anymore peril is in second place
I don’t think darkstalker should be tied with peril, he could kill her with a thought and she literally cannot harm him. Peril is definitely in 2nd place tho. And about the comment about rainwing venom being easy to dodge, yes, it would be easy to dodge the venom if you saw where it was coming from. Imagine rain wings attacking at night, you would never know where they are and they could spit venom above whatever shield you have, while basically invisible. Many people don’t realize how deadly a rain wing could be if they weren’t raised around pacifist dragons, look how much glory did with 0 training at all, killed a dragon from far above them in an arena and melted half the face of a highly guarded queen without being caught. And I know that in the books rainwings aren’t conquering everything or doing any of this and instead just laying around being lazy, but this list was the most powerful dragons as in abilities, not what the most powerful kingdoms were. The tribes are very lucky that the rainwings decided to be pacifists.

The deadliest dragon to ever exist would be a hybrid that has the rain wing venom, strong mind reading and future sight, fire breath, animus powers, immortality, fire scales, water breathing, those glowy scales the sea wings have, fast flight of sky wings, stabby buts the icewings have, frost breath, venom tails, strong leaf speak, flame silk, and all the powers the hive wings have, and also rainwing scales
Im actually suprised rainwing and sand wing are at the top of the list, oh and i must note that most hive wings do not a stingers or posion gas and they dont come with hivemind as a queen ( this is extremely rare to have any of the abilties )
I like the list but which do you think would be more powerful? A well trained assasin rainwing or a hivewing soldier/assasin?

1. Rainwing (Can actually take over pyrrhia if they put their minds to it.)

3. Icewing
4. Sandwing
5. Seawing
6.Hivewing
7. Leafwing (they are born with an abundance of plant knowledge making them deadly, also their scales blend into forestry etc.)
8. Skywing (They may have factually the hottest fire, but unless they wield it carefully they can’t really do enough damage.)
9. Hivewing (they need to be able to get to another dragon to use their more useful abilities.)
10. Silkwing (though they can be rather deadly if they work hard on their silk creations)
I argee with the rainwings they can shoot deadly venom ending a fight in a sec just shoot venom at their eyes than lf it hits the fight is over and they are very well armed
I disagree on the NightWings, in my opinion, there bite is only because there diet, and there powers wouldn’t be useful and a claw to claw battle as it would be to fast pass to read minds, and seeing the future is only glimpses. I also disagree with the SilkWings being the weakest, to me that belongs to
LeafWing as talking to plants isn’t very useful, it’s takes a lot of energy and anywhere to hold or cold it would most likely fail. Still my opinion awesome videos :D

For me I think sky wings should be in 2 or 3 because with fire scales no one can even go close to you without getting burned even if rainwings use there venom it might as well burn the venom sea wings and night wings may use animus magic but it will get burned if an ice wing uses there frost breath it will melt and for mud wings they would just get burned.

What do you think is more powerful - a well-trained RainWing or a HiveWing with most (or all) venomous abilities? It’s something to think about.
I do believe that the RainWing will win if it gives a surprise attack and hit the HiveWing's vitals with its venom. But in a long run, when the HiveWing know where the RainWing is, it will be a whole other game.

I wouldn’t think nightwings would be great on the battle field- unless they were hatched with the proper circumstances, they’re as powerless as a mudwing

Probably a Rainwing-Icewing hybrid as well, if they were able to spit venom and frost breath.

I think Leafwings have an excuse for having their Leafspeak ability talked about rather than other tribes, which is that they literally have no offensive abilities aside from Leafspeak and a majority of the tribe actually has it

I think it's important to bear in mind for HiveWings that each HiveWing gets ONE special ability, and also that they are all under the control of Queen Wasp, so they don't have free will all of the time.

Imo, rain wings are the best by far due to their magical death spit and their invisibility scales. A raining could bite a dragon, use their venom, and voila, you have a very dead dragon.

I'd go with the RainWings if there was a RainWing assassin of some kind. If it were a regular RainWing before Glory's days as well, then I'd probably go HiveWing just because of the tribe's general hostility during the rule of Wasp.
Actually, your theory could be right, as I think in "Talons of Power", Darkstalker describes the RainWings as extremely deadly and not as lazy
Definitely! Other dragons were wary of them, and glad they mostly kept to themselves.
Now this will probably be biased, as icewings are my favorite tribe, but I’d say it’s a tie between rainwings and icewings. Rainwings are very weak, but that venom and camouflage is pretty much unbeatable. However, icewings have that frost breath, much stronger, and their entire body is spiky.
I mean if your making it literal, then seawings since they have animus magic in their royal bloodline
My list for Pyrrhia would be in dead last, the SeaWings. SeaWings rely on water combat and don't have any unique abilities in combat. Second last, would be the NightWings, as they don't have very many useful unique abilities, the only ones are Mind Reading and Future Sight. Future Sight could actually be a downfall as they can't control when they have a vision as shown at the end of Moon Rising and before the History Cave blew up. Mind Reading could be useful, but their opponent can just straight up rush and usually don't give them time to react, especially if they know that they have Mind Reading powers. Next would be the MudWings, even though they are strong fighters. If they aren't warm enough, they can't breathe fire. Also, fire isn't known to be life or death kind of deadly, just painful. Their opponent can stay back, away as in the video, the MudWings rely on close combat. Right above the MudWings, would be the SkyWings. SkyWings are really similar to the MudWings in terms of abilities, but just a bit better and don't rely on close combat as much. Next is the SandWings, which also are similar to the SkyWings and Mudwings, but they also have a poisonous tail bard. It's just a cherry on top really, not much ahead though. Second place is the IceWings, as they have serrated claws, and the second best ranged weapon on Pyrrhia, Frostbreath. We know that Frostbreath is really strong and is able to counter extremely hot lava in Book 4, and is so strong, just a normal hit is still devastating and is much deadlier than Fire (shown in Book 1). Now the strongest dragon that lives on Pyrrhia, is the RainWings. It's explained in the video, they become almost invisible, shoot venom that completely burns off scales, and decimates whatever it hits.
Now for Pantala, the video explains everything, and I agree with almost everything in the video. Right below will be the list of all dragons in Wings of Fire.

They're powers aren't as good as things like Frostbreath and venom, but after the Tree Wars, the "PoisonWings" were trying to get the strongest possible dragons in the tribe by having the strongest dragons having eggs together to get an even stronger offspring, shown in Book 13 making them stronger than they would be before.

1. RainWings. Although HiveWings just have so many deadly weapons, the Camouflage + Venom combo is just practically almost unstoppable. I don't think I even have to argue about this. The only problem is that they don't have the instincts to fight, as they haven't had to for generations.

Rain wings:they live in a jungle and most of them can’t read the only thing have going for them is like herbs.
Mud wings:we don’t know a lot about them so I’m putting them here.

But moon was born under 2 moons and had both powers?? Darkstalker said something around the lines of "the 3rd moon just enhaces these powers" in arc 2

I think any animus dragon would be the most powerful by far. Even the animus 'weakness' can be neutralised by making a necklace or something to stop the dragon's soul being smashed every time they use their ability.
