- A recreation of probably one of the best scenes in Hajime No Ippo (Ippo vs Sendo 2)Finished in about a week. Not perfect but I just love this anime and wanted to recreate it. Some of the stills were abit rough but we take what we can.
The hit effects from the actual anime are missing and they are probably the best part of the original animation. Maybe down the line I'll recreate this with the hit effects (once I have more skill and time to invest)

no idea why this got recommended for me, but this is actually well made. I get why you used some sort of modelling clay, but if you find a solution to edit that out or some sort of substitute solution which is less obvious... that would raise it to the next level.

This is just the perfect combination of charm and effort. The elongated limbs to make shots look better, popping off limbs to give more mobility, and using the original voice performances makes it sound so dramatic for a LEGO stop motion.
LOVE the extension on that missed Smash, and the final combo was amazing! Great work! 🤩
Years later and stop motion is still a fascinating craft, awesome work!

you really made every punch look like it had immense power behind it, i love the use of clay to accent the exaggerated movements, and the use of normal lego bricks to make the stills is incredibly creative
This is fantastic, it really looks like boxing.the way that the fighters move, the slow motion, the way it’s all presented. Fantastic
For those who don't know why this was recommended to them, it's the universe telling you to watch Hajime no Ippo. It's a masterpiece, even if you aren't a boxer.
One of my google tabs its filled with 28 pages, all of them about hajime no ippo
started rewatching the anime and watching clips on UA-cam, guess that brought me here. This recreation is amazing, it felt as hype as the anime and I didn't expect to feel that with Legos. lol

that was actually incredibly well animated. The timing and animation during the start of his dempsy role was fantastic. Coming from another professional animator that was actually top notch.
