no idea why this got recommended for me, but this is actually well made. I get why you used some sort of modelling clay, but if you find a solution to edit that out or some sort of substitute solution which is less obvious... that would raise it to the next level.
This is just the perfect combination of charm and effort. The elongated limbs to make shots look better, popping off limbs to give more mobility, and using the original voice performances makes it sound so dramatic for a LEGO stop motion.
For those who don't know why this was recommended to them, it's the universe telling you to watch Hajime no Ippo. It's a masterpiece, even if you aren't a boxer.
started rewatching the anime and watching clips on UA-cam, guess that brought me here. This recreation is amazing, it felt as hype as the anime and I didn't expect to feel that with Legos. lol
that was actually incredibly well animated. The timing and animation during the start of his dempsy role was fantastic. Coming from another professional animator that was actually top notch.
you really made every punch look like it had immense power behind it, i love the use of clay to accent the exaggerated movements, and the use of normal lego bricks to make the stills is incredibly creative
This is the best lego animation I have ever fucking seen, jesus christ the way you put bounce into the roll is insane, keep that shit up, you're a legend
At first when I saw this on my feed, I thought It was gonna be like a quiet Lil demonstration. But he did the actual scene from HNI. As soon as I saw that I was just like "sheeeeee take my like"
You made this in a week? This looks insane, very crafty work! Love how you made the punch at 0:53 look by using multiple arms or something. Love the anime and love your dedication
Usually I'd be offput by this much clay in a stop motion lego video, but it just fits here. I hardly notice it, and when I do it's not intruding on the actual scene. I love this
I swear whether it's tomorrow, next week, next month, next year, next decade, or even next century; this masterpiece has GOT to gain a million views while I still live.
I can see the future of "Lego Anime Adaptation" lookin brightly, So bright it would dominate (no doubt) live action industry (I could've wish there was a ring tho but overall it was top tier quality mate)
Yooo, the breaking the models to get more dynamic poses, the smears -- great uses of fluid techniques using something as rigid as Lego! You really _get_ animation, bravo 👏👏👏
as a huge ippo fan just hire this guy to make the next 7 seasons

It's called "stop motion" in animation
Thanks me later :p
I'm animation student (currently on 3rd semester)
The Dempsey Roll really looks clean as hell
Ikr especially the weaving from the front
I love how he uses blue arms for smearing
Only if they had facial expressions then this would be literally noted down in history 🙏
It's sooo badass omg
Especially u nailed the Dempsey roll
U right, I should figure out how to change expressioms in after effects. I wouldnt say this is historical though😂 I appreciate it though!
@@Eugine1a2b ur underrated my dude, this is pretty good stuff right here
@@Eugine1a2b will u make a

How would he do that
@@PorcheProductionsome legos have different expressions on their face so he could switch the heads during the recording
i love this, great job. the extended arm on the smash got me rolling on the floor laughing.
I'm happy you enjoyed it! :)

Dude! I lowkey got chills because of how fluid you made it look. Great job
Bro really went the extra mile and broke the figures articulations just to emphasize the movement and speed
That's some serious dedication
0:25 idk why but here for me he looks like hes going to give the biggest kick ever given.

This is fantastic, it really looks like boxing.the way that the fighters move, the slow motion, the way it’s all presented. Fantastic

Years later and stop motion is still a fascinating craft, awesome work!
1:08 man is so clean
This man is extremly creative for how he did the poses and animated this

Why is this actually the best lego stop motion animation ive ever seen
actually caught off guard (haha boxing pun) by that animation, i was not expecting it to be fully animated and with full effects
AMAZINGGG WORKKKKKK You are so Underrated its insanity!
Love how you disjointed those arms for fluidity in animation. Amazing. I look forward to more ❤️
I love how the smash extends his arm lol and the dempsy was amazing
love the lengthened arm pieces to match the way the show makes punches appear
the barrage in 1:08 is so perfect and smooth
This is actually so well made like with :O
I have never seen stop motion this smooth before. Absolutely amazing job dude.
Bro dropped the coldest lego boxing animation and didn’t give us a blanket 😮💨 This was awesome
amazing , the weight is felt on every attack and the creative use of other blocks is nice to see
