Sequoia National Park & Wuksachi Lodge in Winter Snow

- Come along with us to the Sequoia National Park in Winter with snow, and our stay at Wuksachi Lodge. From the entrance gates, we made our way to Hospital Rock, Tunnel Rock, up through to the Giant Forest Museum, and to the General Sherman Tree. The roads became temporarily closed from a heavy snow storm, and delayed our drive up through the Sequoia National Park, but they reopened shortly after for 4WD and AWD vehicles, allowing us to make it to the snow level. The sequoia's are so majestic when they're blanketed in snow.

Thank you so much for making this video in the winter. We are thinking of coming up from SoCal as well and your video really helps to give a sense of what one would have to be prepared for in terms of the snow conditions. Kudos to you and your husband for making the video while trying to manage the kids. Great job!
thanks for sharing this video. Our family is planning trip this winter.
Where else can you buy the tire chains?
This was absolutely lovely! My wife and I are spending a week up in Yosemite for Christmas and it looks like we might get snow, this looked incredible and thank you for sharing!
Its great journey! Thank you!
such a great and detailed vlog ! I can't wait to visit this upcoming winter
I love the Sequoia‘s. I live only one hour away. Hope you guys really enjoyed it.
Great video ♥️
Excellent and informative video! Would the snowfall be this much in November? Or it would still be fall / raining then?
Thanks! It’s highly unlikely that there will be snowfall in Nov. It just starts dropping down to freezing at night in Nov, but the first snowfall is usually December.
@@VivaRivas Thank you!
No problem. You’ll have a blast. It’s so beautiful there!
@@VivaRivas sorry, another question as they take so long to reply via email: how much does a room cost the their lodge? Breakfast is included or you need to order ala carte?
How long the Sherman tree trail?
400 miles
