They’re some of the top lowriders in the world. Thousands of hours and blood, sweat, and tears went into the builds 🤑🚙
California, Texas, New Mexico. In the 30s & 40s Zoot- Suiters, Pachucos, Mexicans, Started Customizing their Rides Called Bonbas (Bomb) Cars, modifying Suspension Low, nice paint & wheels tires Firmes different from stock, From Los Angeles, and post-WWII era of the 1940s, Zoot-suiters Pachucos,custom bomb, as time went on. In any case, lowriders cropped up in these States, Cities (areas) during the post-WWII era of the 1940s and 50s. They were particularly popular amongst young Mexicans, who adopted the art of rolling “low and slow” (bajito y suavecito in Spanish) 1958, California Vehicle Code 24008 basically outlawed lowriding. The new law made it illegal for any part of a car to be below the bottoms of its rims. However, in 1959, a customizer named Ron Aguirre found a way to bypass this law. He took the invention of hydraulics. Quieted,Silent the law, and police. Much, Love, Respect to Asian,Countries, (Japanese) Bothers, & Sisters, for Embracing our, Lifestyle, Culture.LOWRIDERS, Dressing Like Chicano s & Chicana's, Cholos, & Cholas, MEXICAN, in Los Angeles CALIFORNIA.
I’ve seen Ron Aguirre’s former car and the first ever lowrider, the X-Sonic. I’ll post a video of this C1 Corvette, as it’s basically in barn find condition, but will be rebuild soon.

The period colors in the 50’s and 60’s are amazing. All of the builds are incredible and I’ve never seen that many ‘58 Impalas in one place before.

A Los Angeles based Chevy dealer with the last name Felix used Felix the Cat as his logo starting in 1921. He was friends with the animator who created the character, Felix. 😼

You have to admire them. While the world is continuously changing, lowriders remain the same. Plus, most if not all of them are on hydraulics so you need the clearance when you’re hitting switches

@@DKing-lh9cm but that’s the whole point of the lowrider. It’s the custom paint, the hydraulics, the wire wheels that’s the whole aspect of the lowrider. I see what you’re saying but also understand that changing the signature look of theses cars is defeating the purpose of the whole look. 👊🏾
