What are the sweater styles that you love? Cardigans, pull overs, V-neck’s, swing, really long cardigans? Maybe I can help you find a pattern for that beautiful beet root wool that you love.

I really want a crew neck pullover. I have one in mind but the yarn doesn't come in the right weight. So I'm not really sure what to do!
It was fun to see your kitty more in this episode! I would love to see your 2023 projects! Sometimes I'm a yarn-first knitter and sometimes I'm a project-first knitter, haha. If I find yarn I really love, I usually try to find a pattern that I'll knit with it mostly so I know how much I want to get. But occasionally I'll just buy a skein (or rarely an SQ) without a pattern in mind and just wait until the right project comes along! It's also fun to use those special yarns with other yarns in a project if I happen to find different yarns that go well together. But I do also have a list of patterns I've fallen in love with and am seeking yarn for. A bit of a ramble-y answer, but it's so fun to dream about picking out projects or yarns or both! 😁

I would love to see a what I knit in 2023! I'm also a prolific sock knitter and am curious about how the yarns you used have held up over the year.
I tend to save ideas for yarn I want to try out and then sign up for newsletter/notifications of sales (usually sales are during black friday or when summer yarns come out) so I am for sure a yarn first knitter. I always take a look at the yarn in ralvery and scroll through the projects subsection to see what other people have knit with it. Make sure to check the notes for any remarks about how the yarn held up, or tips on the fabric!

Oh that's a great idea! I always worry about them selling out/ being preorders only. So many of my favourite dyers only really do preorders so it's soooo tough!! Ravelry is a great idea, I will totally try that!! Thank you so much!! 💛💛

I pick the pattern first then the yarn. One exception would be when it's sock yarn. If I find a beautiful skein I really want, then it's okay because whatever the color is, I know I'm gonna find a pattern for it.

So glad I found your podcast! I've really enjoyed catching up on your episodes :) We have really similar color palettes! Would love to see your 2023 knits video. I think I'm gonna have to break mine up into two parts (garments and accessories) because I knit so many socks lol
