Greek mythology is my shit too 😂 that’s so crazy, I named my dog Hermes, and that yarn color is literally the color of his fur! So sad I missed that opportunity to get it!

I loved seeing your kitty zoom by at the beginning! Your projects are beautiful! I especially love your sock designs you're working on and the crochet blanket WIPs--such beautiful colors! 😍 I'm actually also learning to crochet this year, with plans to make some blankets. ☺️

This was a fun video! Your notions bag fabric is so cute!! I like to keep one of the little keys that come with interchangeable needle sets in case my needles come loose or I want to change needles on the go. I also keep a few tiny balls/loops of scrap yarn for provisional cast ons or putting stitches on hold. 😊

I love your voice! Thank you for talking about knitting as someone of a bigger size and about keeping knitting fun and not an obligation. Looking at other knitting podcasters it sometimes feels like there is no room for those things and as someone who can relate to what you are saying it feels refreshing to hear it

When I knit your pink mohair sweater I had rust stains on it from the blocking pins too. I believe I did the following to remove: “🎉If you have a rust stain on wool, blot it with a clean cloth dampened with club soda. Dab on a paste made from lemon juice and salt and wait until it dries. Vacuum up the dried paste and check the stain.” ❤

Yes, I'm interested in seeing what you've knit in 2023! I pick the pattern first then the yarn. One exception would be when it's sock yarn. If I find a beautiful skein I really want, then it's okay because whatever the color is, I know I'm gonna find a pattern for it.

It was fun to see your kitty more in this episode! I would love to see your 2023 projects! Sometimes I'm a yarn-first knitter and sometimes I'm a project-first knitter, haha. If I find yarn I really love, I usually try to find a pattern that I'll knit with it mostly so I know how much I want to get. But occasionally I'll just buy a skein (or rarely an SQ) without a pattern in mind and just wait until the right project comes along! It's also fun to use those special yarns with other yarns in a project if I happen to find different yarns that go well together. But I do also have a list of patterns I've fallen in love with and am seeking yarn for. A bit of a ramble-y answer, but it's so fun to dream about picking out projects or yarns or both! 😁

I would love to see a what I knit in 2023! I'm also a prolific sock knitter and am curious about how the yarns you used have held up over the year. I tend to save ideas for yarn I want to try out and then sign up for newsletter/notifications of sales (usually sales are during black friday or when summer yarns come out) so I am for sure a yarn first knitter. I always take a look at the yarn in ralvery and scroll through the projects subsection to see what other people have knit with it. Make sure to check the notes for any remarks about how the yarn held up, or tips on the fabric!

I would love to see everything that you have knit in 2023. That would be really cool to see! What are the sweater styles that you love? Cardigans, pull overs, V-neck’s, swing, really long cardigans? Maybe I can help you find a pattern for that beautiful beet root wool that you love.
