I Made a Pink Historical Fantasy Gown for the Renaissance Faire

- While it's not renaissance faire season yet in the northeast, I have already started on this year's costume. It's inspired by late 15th to early 16th century Italian gamurras, but with some slightly anachronistic flair, in true renfaire style.

I love the swooshy noise it makes! So cure 😍
Thanks for watching!
The finger marking!!! pure genius!!! I will definitively do that too
I am standing on the shoulders of those who came before... But I hope it helps you out too!
You look like a princess. I adore how the cartridge pleats turned out.
Thank you! I'm glad it worked out despite my little cutting mistake with the skirt panels
I love this!! The colour is perfect for the project and your cartridge pleats turned out beautifully
Gorgeous on you 💞
This turned out very nice. Your videos just bring me calm.😊
Thank you! I'm really looking forward to faire season!
Sometimes I worry it's boring, but I hope it's soothing, instead.
really beautiful ! love it !!
This is the coolest thing, I wish I could sew like you
Hey, just three years ago I could barely sew. I'm not special, I just started practicing. So you can too, don't give up!
It's so pretty I have lots of ideas for ren faire myself!
Ooh, fun!
It turned out beautiful! I love the color choice and the little metal clasps! Your videos always motivate me to start my own projects!
Oh, that's so good to hear! I often get inspiration from observing other creators as well...
A lovely new gown :)
Thank you! I'm so excited to wear it this season
this looks amazing!!❤
This was so soothing to watch!
Thank you! I am so glad
Very pretty
Thank you!
Not my era of dress but very lovely work! I’ve tried cartridge pleating a few times and always give up due to snapped threads. I do have some lovely fabric I want to make into a cartridge pleated work wrap dress at some point so I will eventually face down that demon.
Thanks! Yeah, that snap gave me a moment of panic, but we got there in the end...
It wasn't as time consuming as I feared-- just put on a movie, be sure to have good posture, and you can knock it out in an evening.
I love it!
Thank you!
Gorgeous work! So inspiring
