I've recently finished this model. I added a lot more detail than what the kit came with......carpets, leather trim on the doors and boot, replica dash instrumentation and many engine bay details. I was disappointed with the kit electrics so decided to add a micro controller with a larger battery (hidden in the petrol tank!). The micro enabled me to have individual flashing indicators, bright and dipped headlights and I added a reversing light led and a courtesy light led. I changed the kit white led's for the correct coloured ones. All of this operating from a web page on a phone or tablet.

I am building the 1963 Jaguar E-Type. I started the project in May 2017. I am at stage 80 of 100. I should have a complete model by June or July 2019. Yes, the model is expensive. I am enjoying the build. I have painted nearly all of the parts, excepting the body. I like the British Racing Green color. I live in the USA and wish there was an option to have left hand drive on this model. I think they should have a carpet option. I flocked mine. I have made a few subtle changes to enhance authenticity. Overall, I am a very pleased subscriber.

BRG and brown leather killed this for me from the start. If only there was a way to specify a certain colour and trim combination from 1963,if you subscribed to the model. But nonetheless, now it's done it's a beautifully turned out model and has filled a gap in many partwork fans wish lists.Maybe a convertible one day to display alongside it?

I've had one of these on order for almost three months. Getting information out of Modelspace on when I may actually receive it is like getting blood out of a stone.
Obviously, the pandemic is affecting deliveries worldwide, but if there's going to be a delay, surely it's good business sense to communicate with your customers?
Very close to cancelling this and going with the Agora Models version....

I've had mine unopened in boxes for nearly 2 yrs . Decided to make a start .....space and boxes determined it , plus an ultimatum from the wife . I'm on issue 77 now and enjoying the build , apart from the dreaded wire wheels AAAaaarrrggghhhhh , so have left them for as long as i can .......but they're still there , in the box , looking at me . This model is a vast improvement on the Aston Martin DB5 which i also have which , compared to the E , is fairly basic and not such a good fit of parts . Many thanks for the build log vids which i've found invaluable ...........back to it i suppose , those wheels are STILL looking at me Gggrrrrrrrrrrr .

Why are some people selling parts of this kit for really silly prices?. I saw one part for sale on ebay for about £60, yet the part itself would've only have cost about £5 in the shops. People are just trying it on.

Love to know if anyone actually built this. Apparently would have cost you nearly a thousand pounds! Nice though but I wouldn't have had the patience to wait 100 issues.

I build it but never intended to. Would have preferred a red finish myself. My wheels are only single spoked though as I do not have the expertise to do as they should be. Few other minor problems with my electrics too. Overall a good build but I guess I'm not great at modelling!

Very nice but the colour would could've been better, perhaps Alpine white.
