I really look up to yonezu- not just because of his music, but also because he's on the autism spectrum. as someone who's also on the spectrum, it's always really comforting finding someone you can look up and relate to when there is almost none. a large majority of his songs (both before and after his vocaloid days) relate to me on a really personal level. while I don't plan to be in the music scene (I'm much more of an artist in the drawing sense- planning on being some kind of professional artist when I get older), he's still a major inspiration to me. I would love to meet him one day and just say "thank you for being you."
You’re right! I’m also in the autism spectrum and finding out that Kenshi was autistic was some kind of inspiration to become an artist too! I wish you the best in your career :D!
I just remembered that when Yonezu talked about his diagnosis of autism, he said that it made a lot of sense to how he felt during his childhood and adolescence, and that explained many things about himself
After watching this, all I want to do is hugging him tight and say "thank you for surviving. thank you for reaching this far" It's a great explanation, it open up new perspective about this great man, and leaves a deep impression in me. Thank you for making this video 😊😊
The first time I heard his music was a cover of matryoshka from someone else. I went on and searched the song and found out about hachi. The song got my attention and it was my fav vocaloid song of all times. I watch animes and most definitely would learn about new and popular ones, and that anime happened to be chainsaw man. When i first heard the opening, the song was very addicting and i loved it a lot. Not caring much, I just wanted to enjoy the song. After awhile, I was curious and searched for the singer of the song. Turns out it was Kenshi Yonezu. Obviously at that point I have zero clue who he is because I’ve never heard his name before but I decided to stalk his channel. Shocked to see the song Matryoshka on his UA-cam channel, I finally figured that Hachi was actually Kenshi Yonezu, the vocaloid producer who made my favourite vocaloid song. To even think I would figure him out this way was surprising to me. Even though he sort of quitted vocaloid, I still enjoy his current music. I’ve known this man for many years but didn’t know but, now I know that I will never forget who he is until my death bed. I look up to him alot now and love who he is and his music. I’m sure he will strive higher.
Yonezu just keeps growing every time he releases a new song or an album, now with the addition of the song "PLACEBO + Yojiro Noda (Radwimps)" to his upcoming "Stray Sheep" Album -The man himself was inspired by Yojiro when he was in high school but now that he gets to collab with Yojiro on his own song is what you can call GROWTH.. I wish this man the best time of his carer, hecc even the group Foorin was formed mainly because of his project which was "Paprika". Masaki Suda also had a huge boost as an artist in the music industry because of Yonezu's writing for his song "Machigaisagashi".

The very first song of his I ever heard was donut hole back in 2016, and I only heard it under his name hatchi and I love that song so much. I didn't actually know who he was until BOOTLEG came out along with the song Peace Sign, which many people will recognise as the 2nd opening of MHA. I kid you not, that same summer of the 2nd season of MHA I listened to just about everything he released at that time and I just fell in love with everyone of his songs. Like not only for his incredible voice and music but his lyrics really touched me in a profound way that I don't fully understand but they left an impact when I could find translations. I didn't even know most of the stuff listed in the video and that makes me love him and his music even more than before. I regularly listen to his music and he is just a real inspiration to people for how hard he has worked to get to where he is today and I think its especially inspiring.
Thanks for making this video, I was really curious to know more about my favorite artist and I found this. Kenshi yonezu's back story is very deep but that made me like him even more and I understand more about the origin of the songs.
i've been listening to his songs for almost 2 years now, but im really disappointed to myself that i didn't have much curiousity about him before. now i really wanna buy all his album and support him with all my might. really, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO 💓😻😿💓

Thank you for this video! I came to know things about him that I didn't know before. It hasn't been that long since I found out about Yonezu, but no other artist's music has become this precious to me. His music was the ray of light in my life and I will forever be grateful to him. The struggles he went through and his determination to overcome them certainly adds magic to his songs. If I ever get a chance to meet him personally, I would like to thank him for being who he is and letting his music exist.
this is such a cool and informative video! i honestly knew nothing about this guy besides his vocaloid work, but this makes me want to check out more of his music. thank you!
Oh my goodness. This is super great video along the way. This is the best explanation of a really chaotically gigantic story of him. Thanks for collecting all information and details very very neat. Even I listen all of his songs but not even know such a detail like this. We all know he is one of the greatest singer in the world. We acknowledge him. For better improvement in later videos. I think you should keep a phrase longer time to read because I cannot read your explanation in time and need to pause(like it keep fade-away and slide unstoppably). I know your video is still a long video but I think this is the only point you need to fix. Your orientation or explanation is the best. You deserve more views. I think because of copyrights issue that block some countries’ views which is demonetized. Hope you read this 😂 enjoy living in our life even the poorer one who are more struggling still want to survive. So, u can do it!!!
@@daveejonesey I am also on the autism spectrum. Thank you so much for teaching me I can be successful and I shouldn’t let my autism stop me from following my dreams. Autism affects everyone differently. We might be more sensitive to sound and/or touch. We might also have tics, uncontrollable hand movements.)

The specific analysis of the songs in diorama were super interesting, so thank you for spending your time to create this.

Thank god Kenshi Yonezu survive and I hope for his happiness also new songs that yet to come❤️

Yeah, it is blocked in some countries. Thank you for your comment!
@@daveejonesey I am also on the autism spectrum. Thank you so much for teaching me I can be successful and I shouldn’t let my autism stop me from following my dreams. Before watching this video, I felt like I was too different to be famous. Now I look up to him and want to follow in his footsteps. (Your description of autism isn’t 100% accurate. Autism affects everyone differently. We might be more sensitive to sound and/or touch. We might also have tics, uncontrollable hand movements.)
@@Graciechan-39 Thank you so much!! Sorry for the incorrect description, I didn't and still don't know much about autism. I will make sure to read more about it and get it right for a later Yonezu video.
Great video! You should do Project Diva PVs you like.
i met his album Bootleg, after knowing someone recommended me the song, 'Eine Kleine' & also recognized his voice from BnHA S2 OP.
I never thought I could fell in love with Kenshi's songs from the bottom of my heart.. I hope he is doing better and still creating

And his epic MHA season 2 opening...Peace Sign
Thank you for such a great video! I've been listening to his music for a few months but didn't know the entirety of the meaning behind his words so it was really great to learn more about him. The specific analysis of the songs in diorama were super interesting, so thank you for spending your time to create this.
Thanks to Mha and Vocaloid, it made me understand him and love his songs deeper
I absolutely love this man and his music and his personality. Love him❤️

Woahhhh I just reached the end of video and you described it beautifully 😭😭😭 its really amazing to know this much about Kenshi Yonezu...I just know that he grew up with a difficult household situation and he doesn't speak much with his father, but that's it. Thank god Kenshi Yonezu survive and I hope for his happiness also new songs that yet to come❤️
I'm craving for an updated version of this 💜💜
Don't worry, I'm currently working on Stray Sheep
@@daveejonesey thanks!!! Hope to see it soon!
This video just cements how amazing someone with a creative drive can really be. The strifes and stories they've been able to tell through their music, it's so ridiculously beautiful and raw. I really hope we get to see one of sasakure.UK, I'd die to know more about them.
I was start looking for Sand Planet, end up in this amazing journey biography
Omg thanks for making this !!! This video needs more views!! Really he's so inspiring.. i want to hug him tight and say "thank you for being born and surviving" 😭 If you don't mind, where can I read the whole translation of the interview?
