Putting break into the olympics was a joke. Remove Tennis, break, golf. There are higher platforms for Tennis and Golf to be recognised than the Olympics. Note Djokovic as an example. Bc that is more universal than breaking and requires more physically demanding skillsets. I’ve seen 300 pound men break dancing. I think a wing suit slalom type race would be badass too. There are so many more relevant ideas that don’t appropriate certain cultures. I think a half pipe competition for skateboarding is a better way of competing in that sport as well.

Dear Australians, all in all your athletes performed fantastic at the olympic games (Nation with atm 3rd-most medals, if I remember correctly). So don't feel embarrassed because of this performance. Be proud of all the others who did so well.

OK Aussies, somehow there was miscommunication. Maybe she was supposed to audition for an Ozempic commercial and not the Olympic competition. Oh well, I guess the Aussie judges were laughing too hard and thought someone would surely put an end to the prank but unfortunately it went too far. During the Aussie trials, perhaps she came in first place and last place = the most qualified for the Aussies. In my book she earns the aluminum medal for participation. I will give her credit though, she was smart enough to figure out how to get a free trip to Paris, so maybe the laugh is on us. I think I'll try out for the next Olympic. I'll throw some sharp tacks on the floor, step on them with my bare feet and I am sure I can jump, spin, and contort my body to qualify. Heat up the tacks and I would probably throw in some kangaroo high steps.

That's sad too because there are some amazing breakers that defeat the laws of gravity out here and they deserved a chance. This shit was a disaster. I've seen better dancing from a crackhead on the side of the road.

@@wchenfulthe amount of sacrifice, the blood, sweat and tears each athlete goes through just to be declared an Olympian is unfathomable. some of these men and women haven’t even experienced a childhood because of how dedicated they are to their field. some athletes have even put their personal desires on hold, such as starting a family, just so they can qualify to be on the biggest stage in the world and prove that they are the best. there’s a reason why all those athletes you see that are successful enough to finish on the podium are overcome with emotion. yet here we have "Ray Gun" do kangaroo hops and perform at a very juvenile level despite knowing (and admitting) how out of her depth she was prior to participating in the event. it’s a slap in the face to all those athletes, and it’s simply not good enough. she was sent to Paris on the tax payers dollar, at our expense. she was sent there to be a representation of us, an extension of our country. instead she ended up embarrassing herself, us, and in the process has become the main focal point of Australia’s overall performance at the Olympic games, which has taken away from all the amazing athletes that have achieved extraordinary things there.

As far as I'm aware, the breakdancing community has publicly defended her and we don't know the selection criteria. Do you have any evidence that she isn't the best based? What is the selection criteria? Do you have copies of the payment documents you allege? Or are you just gonna say some BS like "it's obvious, I don't need no evidence".

OK Aussies, somehow there was miscommunication. Maybe she was supposed to audition for an Ozempic commercial and not the Olympic competition. Oh well, I guess the Aussie judges were laughing too hard and thought someone would surely put an end to the prank but unfortunately it went too far. During the Aussie trials, perhaps she came in first place and last place = the most qualified for the Aussies. In my book she earns the aluminum medal for participation. I will give her credit though, she was smart enough to figure out how to get a free trip to Paris, so maybe the laugh is on us. I think I'll try out for the next Olympic. I'll throw some sharp tacks on the floor, step on them with my bare feet and I am sure I can jump, spin, and contort my body to qualify. Heat up the tacks and I would probably throw in some kangaroo high steps.
