- What’s up! I did a terrible job filming the build process for this bug so I’m trying to summarize everything we’ve done so far! We should be finishing up this build in the next few months and will be filming everything else we do to this crazy VW Bug!

Regarding the gear shift. Have U ever heard about VW Corrado gear shift by Bowden wires? Perhaps VW only used it in connection to the G compressor engines, but that's got nothing to with the technique itself to switch gears using Bowden cables. Maybe that helps U coming foreward.

is it me or is the rear Axle not xenter with the rear Wheelarch?
We made it about 3-4” longer by mistake haha oh well

@@GARAGEIdiotS wish I could bring my 2.0 mk4 for u guys to boost! Ima get another mk4 this weekend but this one got a 2.8 vr6 with a 6 speed only problem with it is 2nd gear grinds I'm guessing its just a sincroe but I'm not exactly sure how to rebuild a trans or I would do it myself. I'm thinking I need a press for the gears and sincroes. But can't find no good videos on how to do it might just take it to a shop or someone that knows how ill post a video if I get everything to boost the 2.0 or maybe vr6
