Why does hollywood insist on thinking that just reversing the male and female roles of movie will work? She's All That worked because of the male and female typecasting. Switching them makes no sense. A guy wouldn't act like that, and girls don't make bets like this. You would need legit psychopathic girls and sociopathic guy to make this idea work. Why on earth would we want to see this? Rather than the story driving the plot, the plot is moved forward by the characters doing exactly what "She's All That" did rather than any true motivation or growth.

I missed the 80s when their nerd films actually portrayed ugly-looking nerds that show the effort to making them look naturally gorgeous. I was very disappointed seeing a regular good-looking dude get a glow-up. He looked like one of the popular kids when I was in high school BEFORE the "glowup".
