1936, The Year Of The Three Kings: Time To Remember.

This documentary recalls the events of the year 1936 which, in Britain, was noteworthy for there being three kings as George V died and was succeeded by the Prince of Wales who became for a short time Edward VIII. After his abdication as a result of his insistence on marrying Mrs Simpson, we had a third king, George VI, who remained as king throughout the second world war and is the father of our present Queen.
