    01:41:54 VS of White Cliffs of Dover. Men of the Local Defence Volunteers (LDV) or Home Guard on guard. VS of women collecting fish caught on barbed wire sea defences.
    01:42:23 CU Woman radio / radar operator. VS German bombers taking off. Air to air bombers. Radar woman passes message onto WRAFs in plotting room. They move markers on map. VS of men of the Observer Corps on the look out with binoculars. Shots of Heinkel bombers flying over. Observers pass on sighting and plotters show the advance.
