i can't be bothered adding subs so:
for the last question, grant asks him "what's the biggest surprise of your life" or something like that and hanae says that it was from his childhood when he saw his dad dressed as santa claus
his english is pretty good imo he's fast at understanding what he's being asked and his pronounciation is articulate for someone who doesn't speak it at all
a fun fact is that he thinks it's important to learn english, mainly because he wants to communicate with people when he plays his online games, which is probably how he self-taught himself

to clarify for anyone interested: this clip was taken from his old radio show with voice actress, hidaka rina. hanae and rina had two guests, and the four of them took turns to answer the english speaking man's questions in a booth, one on one. hanae can't actually hear what they are saying, and they are just discussing out loud what they think the foreigner's questions are in japanese :-) iirc, the others struggled but hanae did very well!
