Absolutely beautiful. I thought it'd be near impossible to keep up with the quality of songs from Aathma, but this shows you have no issue releasing masterpiece after masterpiece... Incredible. I will say though, the guitars do sound a little low in the mix.

Each individual member is so talented that it's fine if one or even two instruments are left in the background. I love the sound of that almost slap bass Toni's got going on and the drums are so fantastic they could even stand to be turned up a little more just to showcase how awesome he is at combining the flow of all other elements at play. Not many bands can get away with having the guitars turned down a little lower and have it come out possibly better than it would have otherwise.
I’m glad since Aathma people are starting to take notice more although not enough in my opinion. If you’ve been hearing them since Core (which was their first CD a friend gave me.) You’d know how talented and beautiful their music is. After that I ended up getting every album and Truth Behind the Shades was good too. They only get better and better. I’m happy for their success and that their music is being appreciated/enjoyed. I love you Persefone you’re the one band I always look forward to. Hopefully one day maybe I can get my guitar signed by Carlos ❤️

This song is well written and recorded. Also, it’s beautiful to see people across the world embracing the philosophical concepts that come with In Lak’ech. I’m a teacher from the United States, and reciting a poem inspired by In Lak’ech is not too uncommon, especially in schools in the southwest of the country. We do this to embrace the ancestral and cultural practices of our students and ourselves.

I 'm really hoping for the day that Persefone is able to fix their rhythm guitar issues. Even on the CD versions, it's like the bass kicks and rhythm guitar hits happen simultaneously, with the peak limiter cutting off the signal and making it sound like a weak, distracting tremolo. Am I the only person that notices this issue with a lot of metal productions? It's frustrating, because I don't hear any such issue on Truth Inside the Shades...only what came after. It earnestly makes it hard to appreciate how amazing everything else is, since everything is built off of the rhythm guitar riffs. On the plus side, the bass seems to have a bit more room in the mix, and I appreciate that slight change in production style. I love you guys as musicians, but I'd be lying if I said that I could focus intently on the intricacies. Edit: if it doesn't have this issue in lossless, please let me know. I'm just concerned that it's a final mastering issue, since Spiritual Migration and Aathma both had the issue across all tracks with metal rhythm guitar. There might be a better file available on Tidal. A collaboration between musicians this amazing truly deserves audiophile production.

Everything's perfect. I just have something to say about the lyrics. You've made Spiritual Migration and Aathma as a journey inside the spirit itself: in SM you explained the ambient, the perception beyond the reality, then in Aathma you talk about the flow of ourselves, to liberate that perception and be one with the flow that circulate in the universe and in our veins. I just don't know if continue with the lyrics mood of Aathma is a good choice. I mean, you don't have to teach, especially with those easy speech. You have given to many listener a key, now they're going to study Watts, then maybe they'll get inside the thing with McKennah, sacred literature, or even magic and shamanism. You don't have to send the same message to us, try something different, you do not have to eliminate the spiritual part, just be different. Try to talk about intuition, about finding the source, about the language itself, there are so many thing you can talk about. Even something like Shin-Ken. That's all, guys you're heavy af, stay strong! I follow you from Core, you're one of my favorite bands ever!
Honestly I wish Persefone had more clean vocals than growls. It just suits the melodic nature of their music. I still think Shin-Ken is their best work.
