Ganicus is my favorite character of Spartacus ❤
He was for me back then. But now it's Spartacus. Gotta respect his grind set. Plus I just found out the actor didn't live long afterwards...
Gannicus was the ultimate natural. A flow master by default. But Spartacus, while still a warrior, mastered his craft through his discipline and dedication. Not to say gannicus wasn't capable of the same, he just took a different path to achieve his spark of divinity. gannicus will always be more relatable to me tho. I would have taken my freedom and left. Spartacus was in some ways too noble for his own good... He could have got away... But hey, it's not the name gannicus that people remember... It's Spartacus. He definitely did a number, even if I think it was a stupid cause.

Really? This was the only reason I hated the season 2
I loved the Spartacus series but this was my only problem. They didn’t have to do Oenamaeus like this making his brother and wife have feelings for each other. That was so lame in my opinion.
I saw it coming a mile away and it still irritated me seeing Oenamaues get betrayed.

Not an historical series, but if I have to choose one to recommend overall, I'd go for Sons of Anarchy. That's my favorite series of all time.

The scenes are taken from basically all episodes of the season Gods of the Arena (prequel to the first, 2nd in chronological order of release)
Only came across Spartacus from seeing Dustin , In Wolf Creek. So not seen this serious but looking at some vids. I mean But geez how many women did his character have on the go. 😂
The series is well done, maybe not the most historically accurate, but very impactful and emotional. I strongly recommend it.
