I always wanted a similar garden when I lived for some years in England, & I managed a smaller version of it in my front garden, but returned to live in New Zealand before I could start tackling the bigger back garden area. Now I have a much larger back garden, & a smaller front garden lol. Side gardens too, & about to retire, so I can't wait to transform it all into a garden similar to yours, which is the kind of garden that I love.

Hi Camila, I live in Scotland so July is our suppsed summer, hence poppies which either self seed or I sometimes sow seeds in April/May flowers in July to October. xx

My garden isn't what it used to be and I've had little time. Also, the camera on my ipad is broken. I'll see what the garden is like once it comes into flower in a month or so and if I get a chance I'll have a go with the camera on the mobile phone. Your garden is (was?) beautiful; I cannot understand if your neighbours did not take a leaf out of your book and you are now living in an award winning street! Sometimes it is difficult I know but you should keep up the good work the rewards are well worth it to you and others.

Until recently I did sow my miniature meadow corner directly but the weeds took over so I'm trying them in trays in my tiny growhouse and planning to hand plant once I've blitzed the weeds. That's the plan anyway!
I've planted a lot this year and also sowed some seeds directly, I don't have a problem with weeds so let's see how they do. I see the seedlings popping up everywhere already so fingers crossed. I see a lot really close together so I don't know what to do about that. Should I space them out and they get a bit bigger? TYIA!
I live in California and we have horrible clay soil so nothing really grows well lol I have some weeds lol here and there but nothing I can say is a problem. It's very scattered and once I pull out it doesn't grow again. I have to amend the soil in order for anything to grow and flourish. Thank you for the tips! I love your garden! Maybe some day mine will look half as good as yours:)

Would love to know your secret to no weeds, lol!!! Yes, you may need to thin out the seedlings otherwise they won't have space to grow.
