4:48 in just blew me away! Absolutely amazing 👍 This is by far the best hang gliding movie out there. Sends a tingle down my spine each time I watch it. So inspirational, but such a shame to see that so few people are coming into the sport. At the local hang gliding club, the vast majority are > 50 years of age. It's such a cool sport, that I just don't understand that.
Well, I'm just coming into the sport ....but I'm 69, so not contributing much for the future. Where are all the young people? Staring at their phones? .....When they could actually fly?!?!?
Awesome. I fly in Germany, Austria and french Alps, but there is nothing like this you showed us - the perfect soaring spot. Unbelievable! Now I´m dreaming awake to fly at this ridge! ...and of course you did a great job!!!
Putting this site on my Bucket List. May take a couple of years to get there from Australia, but i think the experience would be awesome. Another high quality video from David Aldrich. Stanwell heights above Sydney Australia has a pacific breeze also.

noversibirsk not the entire distance. There are air space issues and it wouldn't likely all be soarable. There are some amazing sections you can fly through like Fort Funston, Big Sur and Santa Barbara.

I miss the band of brothers camaraderie, I drove 1000 miles to Fort Funston and was up a few hundred feed in the air within the hour of my arrival.
They have a good crew there that's for sure!
@@designbydave It's funny, they looked at my logbook and were puzzled by a 6-month gap between some of my flights until I said the word winter.

I never done it ive jumped a few times from planes ,not tandam ,so if it were 2 go wrong ,yr on yr own ,can some1 just run of a beach and fly ,????

There's a lot of things I'm not allowed to do because I'm 6'8".
Big guys can fly. If you weigh too much, you can't do tandem training, but you can still learn the traditional way on a big wing!
