I was only joking Richard, just tried to get a reply and still didn't 🤣love what you guys do and I always watch you rifle reviews as well, well done to you and matt haven't missed a show in years and I'm always waiting to watch.👍
Great session on the squirrels there Richard and top-notch shooting too: quality! My only raised eyebrow with the kit is that Revere rifle evidently has quite a loud manual safety (engaging and disengaging), which would put me off using the safety at all during pest control. I think I'd rather stalk unloaded and only cock the rifle when the next pest appears, than risk that click alerting them to my presence. My own method of recording is to just leave the camera (i.e. day & night scope) recording from start to finish, rather than risking losing a chance when pressing the start button each time. I was out shooting rats this week with @Robin_Foxer and @Vermin_Control_Scotland, and those wee grey critters often don't hang around for long. It means hours more footage to process but hey-ho it works for me. The Venator looks a great outdoor BB plinking solution for those of us here in the north-east of Scotland, where icy winter temperatures mean CO2 plinkers are kept in the cupboard for warmer summer use. Obviously the £560 price tag is about 3x to 4x the price of the CO2-powered Umarex HK MP5K PDW I recently bought, but the advantage of year-round use definitely has appeal. Also 450FPS with 0.35g (5.4grain) steel BBs means 2.4ft/lbs, which is ok for a plinker. By the way Mat, Airsoft-style (AEG) guns like this do still have a spring and piston, but the trigger activates the motor to wind-back the piston against spring tension then release it all in one movement. That can mean a longer lock-time than with a CO2-powered 'semi-auto' rifle, how did you feel this electric version compared? Great video gents, cheers. Russ
The safety catch did sound a little loud, but I wonder if the camera/microphone was a factor? I can operate it silently on my Revere. That said, I can't see how cocking a rifle is going to be any quieter than flicking a safety catch. And have you ever used a GoPro? They suck up battery life like you wouldn't believe. Leave it on and recording and you'd be changing battery every 30 mins...
@@reservedone1791 Yikes, wasn't aware of the GoPro power usage. But cocking's got to be quieter than that resounding CLICK on or off. Anyways on our recent (Tuesday) rat shoot I left the Pard008S-LRF recording from the start & only changed battery once after maybe five hours with it on IR #1. This (continuous recording) means gigs & gigs of videos to go through, but between balancing on crutches / not falling off my bucket seat, it's a price I'm happy to pay not to miss recording any good shots. Cheers. Russ
so very interesting the different hunting techniques. Rioh kinda clunks out into the woods and pops 3 before he gets to the feeder. Hauls out the cover net / blind making what I would have thought lots of noise... and within a short time bags one... Now Matt, you would have moved out so so quietly, had the blind already set up,... whispered to the camera or Nicky, about the set up etc... From what Rich said at the beginning, there has been little to no hunting in these woods for a very long time and my guess is that the Tree Rats just aren't afraid of much.....well the fun stops now... How does the ol' phrase go,... "It's all fun and games til someone gets shot" ...guess the tree rats haven't heard that one... maybe its just something we say here in the States... well they'll learn... Rich, nice off hand shooting... well you used your knees but still...
@@richsaunders6515 it was awesome. You were quick and shooting in minutes. Matt... he wears head to toe camo... even with a blind. You were just shooting and wow... too many tree rats my friend. I wonder if that last shot took an hour for them to come in because you went out and picked them up. Either way good day. Aim Small, Miss Small.
it would be nice if there was a caption at the end of th hunting segment with a head count and duration posibly distance and amo used, but still good no matter what
Hi Ian. Sorry about that. It's sometimes hard to keep track of numbers but it was I believe 10 squirrels in the end. I was out pretty much all day from first light until shortly before dusk and I was using Air Arms Diabolo Field pellets 4.52mm. The distance to the feeder was around 19 metres and from memory, the stalking shots were 20 - a little less than 30 metres. I hope that helps and thanks for watching.

Great vid Rich, some nice shots from both stalking and a hide. 👏👏👍
Thank bud. How are things with you?
Top notch pest control Rich, well done.
I do enjoy watching video of Richard while shooting pests like these.
Thanks for this Mat, and of curse, Richard.
Thanks Reg. It's another great performance by Rich.
All the best. Mat

Thank you for watching...
Well done Richard. That was some nice off hand shooting.
Thanks very much William.
Excellent shooting. That is why we do HFT.
Thanks - years of shooting on my backside!
Bark at them like they sound... gets their attention and they freeze! Pew 🎯🐴❤️🤠🇨🇱👍🏻✌🏻🍻
Superb shooting. That's a beast of a feeder. It makes me feel small. I need to up my game here! Great video! Thanks for sharing mate! 👍👍

A fine bit of pesting Richard! A joy no doubt with that lovely looking new revere.👍
Thanks very much. 'Twas a loooong day though and very warm!

Hi - the benefit of a camo net hide is that you can put it up in seconds. I simply tied it between a couple of trees and that was it.

Grate video shame about the end with the toy hopefully it’s a one off
great shooting Rich plenty of targets there mate :)
Thanks David. We had them under control until the pandemic. Plenty more to deal with over the winter...

havoc on the squirrel population.
Close down a forrest for a flue 🤔🤔
Exactly! Project fear 😜
Oh the kill shots are back this week
love these vids
We love that you love them Dave!
Great video, what pellets are you using? I'm always interested to hear whats knocking down those squirrels.
Thanks Steve. I was using Air Arms Diabolo Field 4.52mm. The Revere works well with Sovereigns as well...
Frankly Sig Sauer's MCX and MPX Shoot PELLETS at a better rate, look and feel like the real thing, and cost hundreds less than your electric gun !
hi good vid m8 stay safe ian
Thanks Ian.
Revere rifle is evidently for kids or nuts. Really I would not waste my money.
I'm still waiting on a reply to my question last week . Why was there no kill cam shots but I've been totally ignored.
No-one gets a reply from these guys, way to busy
I've had replies from Richard & Matt, both busy gents I guess 😉
If you comment on Richards own channel, *Alpha Militaria* he always replies 😉
Hi - sorry if I missed a question for me. Anything I can help with now?
Editing issues was the reply, how about not being a twit and moving on. Great content, if you’re not happy create your own or at least blow off.
How much for a bb gun the airsoft girls will love it tho pmsl
Zevk için hayvanların katledilmesine karşıyım ,bunun adı spor değil katliam
Well done Richard, holding steady without the use of sticks!
Thanks Alan. The benefits of years of practice!
@@richsaunders6515 You are using a bloody thick stick though😉
Enjoyed the stalking with a great choice in gun for the job. thanks Richard.
Thanks very much. The crunchy underfoot conditions were a challenge. I had plenty more run off...!
Nice shooting and footage what pellets do you use
Thanks Carl. I used Air Arms Diabolo Field 4.52...
