- Haunted Mansion is one of my all time favorite Disneyland rides, and when I started making historically inspired Disneyland ensembles, I knew I had to do the Haunted Mansion next.

So cool! I think you could make an incredible Jungle Cruise or Swiss Family Robinson ensemble! I always love your videos 🥰
This is really cute! I think you should do teacups or the jungle cruise.
Oh my god tea cups. Yes.
an idea just popped up when you asked for suggestions. How about a can-can girl from Country Bear Jamboree at Disney World. also, Edwardian is not usually my cup of tea but I really like this ensemble, you did a great job and it looks really good on you.
Thank you so much! I used to feel the same about Edwardian but it grew on me ☺️
Haunted Mansion is my favorite ride at Disney, and I love this version of the cast member uniform. Great job!
Omg!!! This look is stunning!!! 💚🖤💚 It's giving me Adams Family vibes, especially with the apron! ✨
That green is so beautiful 😍
thunder railroad was always my favorite!
Well this is Friggin ADORABLE. ALL OF MY SPOOKYDWARDIANCORE DREAMS
I always love the way these Edwardian uniforms look and the green color is perfect ✨💚
Ohmygosh this is so adorable!
Small world or space mountain would be amazing.
For a split second it looks like you were crying when you did the hem facing, and honestly mood!
PS. I absolutely love this!
It doesn’t hurt that I’m a sucker for green but I absolutely love this dress
Great work. Ive been watching alot of Edwardian era stuff lately. Its cool to see people making these garments.
I LOVE this. It's just so dang GOOD.
Here is a Disneybound attraction suggestion: how about you make a historical outfit inspired by one of the dolls in "It's a Small World?"
I'm glad you made up this pattern because to be honest the example on the cover of the pattern looks so frumpy and unflattering that I never thought of trying it 😅 but now I definitely will because yours looks great
Oh my gosh! Love love LOOOVE😍
Ooh I love this make! The fabric is beautiful and I think the silhouette is banging ❤️❤️
On a different note - that background blue wallpaper! Swoon!
Oh, and love your project too. I love how you take an idea and creatively interpret the key components to form such a wonderful representation of the original concept. Brilliant.
This was awesome
I love this, its so cute!
this looks inceadable!!! Very stunning, I think I need that pattern ^^
It turned out great! The silhouette is just sooo good 🙌 I'm one of those long armed gals too who always has to add a little bit to the sleeves. (When I'm lazy, I just make the cuffs longer, but don't tell anyone 🤫 😉🤭 )
Hello! Love the channel! Love your work! Love your sense of humor!
Perhaps the next Disney project should be the woman on Pirates of The Caribbean that's being sold in the town square. Seems to fit with the Edwardian and Victorian time periods. ;)
So, to correct myself, I did a little Google search and found out that it was actually the Georgian Era. At least, I think that's correct.
It looks really good.
I love this! I’m working on creating a historically inspired HM too and this was super inspiring! I’m going a slightly different route and going with a blouse/skirt option but I love this day dress look too!!
Ohhh, I’m glad I’m not the only one obsessed with Disneyland looks! Especially HM, it’s such a vibe.
Such a great ensemble! Even more beautiful than the original! Sadly I don't know much about the American attractions... Peter Pan's Flight maybe? Around 1906
Oh I love that attraction! For some reason it didn’t occur to me that other Disney parks were an option! I’ve only been to Disneyland Paris but they have some amazing rides!
@@thesewloartist I only know Paris as well and miss it so much - that's why I am currently scetching an Outfit for Thunder Mesa and Phantom Manor. Your Videos inspired me!
Loving the black and green stripes! That apron is really cute! Secretly tall -- I dunno. Maybe you better measure yourself. When I was 28, I grew another half an inch. I thought all my clothes were shrinking in the wash -- nope, just me growing , AGAIN. Hee hee, maybe you grew another 4 inches! Tower of terror bellhop, but bustle era.
Maybe I’m in a stretching room portrait lol!
@@thesewloartist Now THAT is some Disney bounding!
I feel the same about sleeves - It's like I have orangutan arms!
Hi new here, found you on Instagram~
Loved this look so much!!!
I am not familiar with the disney attractions but "1830 silhuetted fancy dress/halloween Space Mountain" popped into my head 😂👌
I’m so glad you found me! I love the idea of a sparkly 1830s 🤩
Suggestion for the next outfit: The Mark Twain Riverboat.
You showed the picture of the *actual* uniforms and the mind boggled.
And my vote would have to be Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse. Because reasons
💙💙💙
Ever had a desire to be in a western? I feel like Big Thunder Railroad and that area of Disneyland could be a fun outfit.
Have black cat. He furs on everything. Hair magically turns grey on contact... shows up on everything 😫
He wins.
Also, you need to pitch this to Disney, because it is way better than theirs
💚🖤
Where did you get that beautiful green striped fabric?
It’s from fabric.com ! www.fabric.com/buy/0689074/kaffe-fassett-shot-cotton-stripe-seaweed
Thank yoy
Just funny how aprons make outfits look better in my opinion. lol
Do you wear these outfits out on the town?? I have always loved these pieces and era of dresses.
Please so Tower Of Terror!
Enjoyed the video. I have a question: when you make a facing for your skirt, do you use the bottom few inches of the pattern piece as a pattern for the facing so that you get the same curve, or do you just “wing it” and cut something out that looks like it has a similar curve to it? I realize that creating a facing for a more fitted pattern piece such as the bodice would require more exactness, but I’m wondering if you have to be that careful with a hem. Thank you.
Well the “right” way to do it is definitely how you describe! It’s best to you’d the bottom inches as a guide but I almost never do that. Most skirts have such a gentle curve to to them they don’t really require that level of precision IMO. I just cut a four inch strip on the bias and ease it as I go. A more experienced seamstress might be able to explain the disadvantages of that method, but I’ve never had any problems with it!
Pirates of the Carribean
....I want to wear this
King kong the leading ladys dress
Call up Disney! This girl needs a job reinventing some costumes!
Space Mountain but make it an Astrological Witchy Vibe?
Also, this was fabulous and I love it! I've been wanting to make a Haunted Mansion Bustle for ages and now I want to do it more.
