Thank you for your excellent videos. Can you clear up a much debated question about where the receiver stands, can it be anywhere or must the receiver stand behind the base line until the server plays the ball? Any help much appreciated.
An opponent hit a lob which came down and hit the top of the frame on my side of the court, it then bounce in my side of the court in or out? Where is this noted in the rules of the game Thanks
What are the rules for the receiver of the serve? May the receiver stand any place on court? Must the ball bounce or may the receiver theoretically play a volley receiving the serve? Looking forward to your answer.
@thepadelschool what if after my strong smash ball goes to the glass and after it comes back on my site. If I catch it on my site before it bounce (it is deep and opponents cannot hit it from their site) - do I lose the point?
Question - I see there is a saying when the balls hitting the glass with a bouncing back angle more than 45 degrees, that’s an “In” - is it true? Anyways thanks for your excellent, precise and concise video! 🎉
I’m really interested to know I’ve played tennis for years and never played padel, sounds obvious but is a padel bat easier to swing/maneuver than a tennis racket?
What if I return the ball and it bounces on the other half and hits the cage? Is it out as well? Also one time I smashed the ball so hard that it bounced to the upper cage on the back of the others half? Is it out?
Hi Attila, if your return bounces in the opponent’s court and hits the cage it is in. On the smash question, again if it the opponent’s court first and then the cage it’s in, but directly onto the cage and it’s out!!
Today at a game someone served, the ball hit the net, fell over the net, did not bounce and rolled towards and touched the mesh. The opponent said the ball was out and there was no let. To me it was a let because the ball didn’t bounce directly onto the mesh. What is the correct decision ?
If a ball touches the net, goes over the net, and then: 1) Does not hit the ground and bounces to the cage - it's out 2) hits the ground and bounces to the cage - it's out 3) hits the ground 2 or more times - it's a let 4) hits the glass - it's a let
Note to self : first half underwood as it matched my prior experience second didn’t as it was contrary to prior experience and so I got defensive-bigo which is totally silly when consciously brought to attention , what to do when there is a change in prior experience etc is rmeber we are learning and this is the learning to be taken at once as is etc and so all prop exp will move out of way immediately and perfectly etc can even say this new stimuli is the new prior learning . Same issue why I have not learnt to drive or generally don’t learn eg in classes
Boom - Got a big championship coming up! After watching this, i feel like they can start engraving my teams name on the trophy!
Amazing! Good luck!
The best brief in minute and half 👍
glad you enjoyed!
Very clear. Just what I needed.

You can stand anywhere 👍
@@ThePadelSchool Thank you so much - appreciated👍
My question if I hit a serve in the receiving box of my opponent and bounce twice then hit the cage, is it counted in or out? Thanks

Out because it must bounce on the court ground surface first
How do we know which side to serve from?
What are the rules regarding who can serve and when during the set , and how to choose who receives?
this might help pulse.ly/wmx80tp7wi
Bt is there a winner point? ..like if opponent misses the ball completely or is it only the point when the opponent hits it onto the opposite net ..
super useful thanks
glad you enjoyed!
Does the ball have to bounce in the opponents square to score or can it go outside the squares? (except for serve)
Cheers bro

The receiver can stand anywhere but can't volley the serve.

Theoretically yes, you would lose the point.
When i serve, do i have to let the ball bounce first or can i just hit it below waist height from my hand withiut a bounce?
must bounce first
What about if you return, hits ground and then their cage?
What if i serve and the ball bounces twice in the diagonal box without touching glass or cage is this serve fine ?

During a rally, should the ball bounce then strike the cage, is it in play or out?
During a rally it's in. After the serve, it's out.
Question , if the serve hits the glass directlly without hitting the ground of the opponuent. What do u call it ?
That would be a fault…’out’.
I’m really interested to know I’ve played tennis for years and never played padel, sounds obvious but is a padel bat easier to swing/maneuver than a tennis racket?
Yes, this is easier than tennis
Thank you 🙏
Where is this at?
I live in Panama and Padel is *huge* here.
I’m going to play with my wife and her family tomorrow and I’m probably gonna lose 😅
I had a shot today, ball hit the back glass, then my fence before going over.. Is this my opponents point?
yes it sounds like it 👍

Can I throw the ball up when i'm serving as long as I hit the ball at my waist height?
No. It has to bounce from the floor and then you hit serve
Whats the rules if the ball lands on the white lines on the serve? Is it in or out?

think your question was answered here by a community member. thank you!
if the ball fell over the net and didn't bounce you need new balls
@@TheAlisk hahahaha let's just assume it was hit with a lot of spin ;)
Didn’t know that you guys are based in Saudi RT, if you are please I’d like to have a session 😇.
Padel looks more like pandemonium. I'll stick to pickleball 😂
and 'the returner can decide' huh? what is the returner? I though this was 101

Ok, that’s more difficult than math. Thank you, I choose tennis

It's not difficult at all😂
I agree😂😂
