THANK YOU! I ordered an alternator for my parents ‘13 150 Fourstroke, but found the problem in minutes because of this. Exactly as you described; no voltage at the alternator terminal and a failed 100A inline fuse. New cable and it’s working great. That ‘13 engine had a different-looking inline fuse, but the failure was identical. The replacement cable is the same as in your video.
This is not unique to 2017-2018 150. The newer optimax models also had this same setup, and all 2015 and up mercury outboards from 115-400hp have a similar design. Usually this fuse fails if the batteries were hooked up backwards at some point.
