Give Halo: Reach Rebalanced a try. Just be aware that the assault rifle is still not too effective against elites, but at least it now kills grunts (and not from point-blank like Halo 3's version with its disgusting snail-speed bullets) instead of making enemies multiply. Unfortunately, enemies can also fire at you from farther away. The focus rifle is also decent in PVE for once.
I've been informed I only scraped the tip of the iceberg in terms of what that 'normal' grenade can do, I'll be sure to use them as much as possible in the next Cursed Halo video
Its called a d20 grenade, it can do anything from spawning enemies, to nuclear explosions. It has objects it can spawn from trees to swarms of hunters. Pro tip never use them in corridors, you can trap yourself that way. The grenade rolls a number and that number determines the effect from a large table made by the modder.

They were small, bug like creatures that had a strong thirst for blood. If you threw them, they would track down any living thing they saw and attack it mercilessly until they eventually pop.
What surprised me is that not only does it function and sound like Snarks, but it actually is so much better than snarks thanks to a much larger amount of ammo.

Oh, Hidden, the snark needler is a half life reference. The needles are snarks in all but texture. In HL, you threw them out and they bounced around (preferring to go towards the nearest living thing) and try to kill things.

My first time playing Cursed Halo I forgot that the cutscenes were rendered in real time using the in game engine, so when Keyes gave his speech after rescuing him on the Truth and Reconciliation I had a dancing Rick Astley/Master Chief in the background

My favorite part of the mod is how in the 343 GS cutscene, Keyes shoots himself in the head and dies due to the backwards pistol. This by itself is hilarious, but what adds on to this is that the level Keyes is completely removed. This mod, I can’t.
@@HiddenXperia The mod creator (InfernoPlus) could not get that level to work and had to remove it. Something about that level really does not like his changes. Its also quite fitting given the cutscene with Keyes shooting himself.
1:06 is a shame HiddenXperia skipped that cursed cutscene with the hoglets killing marines and the snail scorpions in the distance, it’s a foreshadowing of what’s coming.
Wouldn’t have mattered anyways if it happened in real lore because the flood can still assimilate him into the flood, still gaining all of what he knows. I know this is just a satire parody of halo but in real lore it don’t matter if you’re alive or dead they can still obtain all the knowledge of an individual once they’ve converted them

The frag grenades do random stuff. It can give you a full auto Halo CE pistol or dual CE pistols. It can also spawn a nuke. If you charge the plasma pistol until your shields drain and wait until it fires, it nukes the enemy as well.
I can not put in to wards how happy I am that after you unloaded the backwords magnum in to your face you just said "You know what I don't know what I expected" there are SO MANY people are this site that would just continue doing that over and over like "Why isn't it working? This is dumb!"
