Gestern gekauft. Einfach fantastisch! Sehr gut im Mix, keine blender Sounds. Sehr ehrlicher und unglaublich realistischer Sound. Well, done Lasse! Well, done STL!
I first heard his name with his short demo of the Uberschall about 10-12 years ago. This dude is an audio engineering genius. In this digital world the only physical amp I’d buy is the Purple Nightmare.
What a GREAT video. Lasse is such a nice guy and he deserved this kickass plugin so much. Very, very interesting to hear his specific thoughts. Thanks STL and thanks to you, good old Lasse ;-) What a pity that the plugin wasn't there back in 2009 where I was at LSD studio :-D
Just downloaded it, it sounds pretty good, the Driftwood has this thing with the mids can't quite dial in the way I like yet. I have the offical Driftwood kemper pack from titan studios (whitechapel guys)and I think they are two different beasts for sure. Both sound killer
Lasse if you are reading... What do you think about using the post EQ in the plugin vs using something like an SSL channel strip? I usually like wider EQ moves for post EQ because there are less knobs to fiddle with, but I was wondering what your opinion is on the difference between using a more surgical EQ like in the plugin and a broad stroke EQ. Awesome plugin btw, I am really digging it!
thank you! I'm using both in different situations. I chose to go with the graphic here cause it can still do the broad stuff and shelves etc (by just moving several adjacent sliders ) but it's also more intuitive to use for "non mix engineers". Without a graphic representation of what the Q knob actually does, parametric EQs can be a bit too abstract for some. And since this graphic EQ does both for me, it seemed like the perfect solution. Also, in the studio I'm loving my old graphic on guitars btw, so it felt right to have it in the plugin as well. I'm sometimes using a parametric to notch out some fizzies, but that's what the "smooth" dial does, it's kinda like a on-knob-version of that.
Funny thing is, it seems to change depending on whom I talked to before 😂 I do get the South African comment a lot though, which is surprising cause I’ve never been there or talked to anyone from there. One of my best friends is from Australia tho
its def unique. threw me off a few times. briefly heard something sound American pronounced, but as soon as I locked in on it, immediately heard German and so forth; had to do a double take when video first started
This video is for info. There is another one called "in the mix" where you can listen to the sounds and you can also download the trial and play it yourself to see if you like it.
Lasses Plugin is kickass. I love the tones.

1:54 Lasse said the thing!
Yeah, he said the thing!
This plugin makes getting a great tone super easy, barely an inconvenience
I like the part where he said we have to figure out a certain STL TONALITY - LASSE LAMMERT within the guitar sound
One of the best plugins for metal tones in my opinion!
This is one of the best plugins I’ve ever used!
I have the Kemper Packs from Lasse Lammert! There is also the Driftwood....really thinking about to buy these Plugin!

I expect the Mago DIs for every amp/cab variation

@@LasseLammert Thanks for the detailed response!
THE song is playing in the background 😄👍🏻
What is this song?
@@HarbingerOfAnarchy new song by A Night In Texas
@@LasseLammert like this band) thank you)
I'm not sure about the timestamp, but it's the song that's always reamped
If this had a Marshall with the Soldano Hot Mod I would be entering my credit card number right now.

What band am I hearing in the background?
EARFORCE addon and i'm in! ;)
He's got the strangest accent I've heard in a while. I hear irish, south african, german and something else.
I thought maybe German living in Australia? I know nothing about him.

@@LasseLammert I think it's quite a cool accent. Comes off as well-travelled and international

Wow you guys made an entire presentation video without for a single moment allowing us to hear what the product actually sounds like
There’s an entire other video moron
:00 THAT amp
Why would I buy this? Theres no samples of the preset sounds at all in this vid.. Hes just talking about the basic reasons why people use plugins
