This is one of those vids that I do on occasion that has personal meaning, and because of that I am going to leave it up to the viewer to take what interpretation from it you want rather than filling you with mine.
I am uncertain about the future of my XF vidding just now- apparently FOX doesn't agree with me concerning the value of 'transformative works' to their franchise, and I had to take down another vid. I spend countless hours on each one I do, and naturally the point is for other fans to be able to watch them so if I get another strike, I may have to reconsider where I apply my creative impulses.
Time will tell and my most heartfelt thanks to all the other fans out there for sharing in this amazing show with me.
FOX, please- I am just a (insert euphemism for obsessed here) fan- I Love this show, I buy your stuff, I even named my daughter Dana (for f*#king real, think what u will... ;) I don't make any profit, only new friends-- so have mercy! 0__o - Розваги
omg, thankyou. having people out there that appreciate what I am doing is just priceless beyond measure- it inspires me, i can't thankyou enough.
I still think that with this particular video you made TXF look like the most stunning thing ever seen on tv. Gosh how I wish that Chris Carter could actually see this video because I'm sure he would be so honoured to have inspired someone to make such a timeless and beautiful tribute.
I know what it feels like....the copyright thing sucks!!! Fox must understand that WE NEED YOUR VIDEOS!!!! you're so talented and this video proves it one more time!!! don't give up!!!

Aww, you're most welcome. I wonder if people who watch your videos haven't really thought about how much work it takes to get those things just right, because everything seems to effortless in your videos and they just flow at this natural pace with the songs. So maybe you should take it as a compliment! ;) I've been trying to edit my own video this summer every once in a while when I've found the time for that, but darn it's so hard. So I keep returning to your videos and being amazed... ;)
I am so thrilled that you see that- this one is indeed very philosophical and its where my mind was while I was making it but I wanted people to be able to see their own reflection in it too-- thankyou sweetie, all this encouragement is making me rethink what I am going to do here!! big hug ;)

OMG Snakey, I just saw this video today and you just left me speechless. I search for videos like this everyday, those that speak beyond the images and leave you thinking and the images will pursuit you even after the experience is gone, this is art. A perfect combination of images and music, exploring each breath, each moment. About FOX, tell me about it... it's a burden, if makes you feel any better, they made me put 3 down too. I don't know why but I was thinking about blocked emotions and coming up against obstacles when I saw your video. Loved the imagery so much and great to see all four characters involved this time. As for FOX? Yeah, they really do not like fans creating their own amazing videos, mainly because they own the rights to XF and in their eyes NO ONE else can have it! It's so stupid because fans are not making any money from it, so what is the damn harm? DD & GG even said one inspired them for IWTB!

hey Yellowbee- thankyou!! I put a tremendous amount into this one and I was uncharacteristically happy with how it turned out! (usually that means no one else is going to like it! 0_*) you know what your opinion means to me as a vidder that inspires me -- your comment made my day!! I don't know why Fox picks on us, but I do feel a great sense of camaraderie with every Phile this has happened to!

I had a huge amount of thoughts swirling around in my mind while I was working on this one and am happy for once with how it turned out. I actually am in the sciences professionally, believe it or not! but I LOVE art and like to analyze the crap out of things :) for better or worse! Don't give up on video making. Can u post on vimeo or another video site? Or maybe make a page on fb for ur vids? Another beautiful video. You always use the less used scenes which I like so it always feels fresh. Btw...do u ever do funny XF vids? Id love to see something like that too.

I don't know how I haven't commented on this vidoe before. I watched it already a few months ago, and because of it I discovered this great band, so THANK YOU! But this video...the colouring in it is so breathtaking, I don't even know what to say. The contrast of the "cold" colours and that flickering pink light is so beautiful. I have to ask, have you ever studied film, because you have an amazing ability to make such natural transitions from one scene to another (the images seem to blend)?
Oops! I'm really lost with the new UA-cam settings. I kept getting all kinds of spam from random YT accounts, so that's why I tried to limit comments only for contacts. Will fix that straight away... ;) I'm having really frustrating moments with After Effects, so I really think I'll just have to give up with it regarding this video. But I just need some kind of opening titles for it, so that's what I'm trying to create right now. Yeah that's hard, I'm a bit of a perfectionist... :p
Wow....speaking of phenomenal, I think your work is amazing! I got so lost in that...it was like having a mystical experience, LOL. Band rocks, too.That is so cute how you named your daughter. To me it's wrong that they would force you to take your stuff down for the content of it...which seems like a violation of 1st Amendment rights...don't get me started. :) If anything it's going to make people buy more of their stuff! Anyway, your stuff is incredibly good, so I hope you keep it up!
oh Louisa, you are right-- Philes are not supposed to be the sort to give up....I will figure something out- the prospect of reuploading all those vids makes me shutter and FOX makes me sad.
I probably deserve my own personal padded room somewhere for doing that to my child, but as a measure of the degree I love this show, I'd say that about encapsulates it!!...at least I didn't name her Scully!! XD

It was disappointing to read that you'd had to take down your work. Fox is so out of touch. Fanworks only increase viewership. I'm commenting here to let you know that I may be able to get you an account at Archive of Our Own if you need a safe haven for those vids. There's a huge waiting list but I have a couple of invites. Let me know. I think your creativity should be encouraged.
