    So this edit was done quickly and I missed a bunch of stuff!
    I straight up forgot the intro and forgot to add the text boxes after each of the stages of fire.
    We really didn’t speak much about the hits on my target or even show the target so for that I apologize. Both my runs were clean with all A zone impacts and I think for everyone else’s target we annotate the hits and misses.
    The last thing was obviously the thumb nail, that was a picture that was taken by a member of the public during a foot pursuit I got into chasing a golf cart haha

    I’m surprised you guys aren’t aware of this yet but both Edgar Sherman designs and wilder tactical make adapters for your leg strap that allow them to swivel as you run and keep your leg free.
    They’re a game changer I love it

      Alien gear also do it but it swivels from the belt to the holster instead of strap to the leg but it'd be interesting which way works better.

    A lot of us are running the holster forward of our hip bones and I find that hinders me in running but the draw is better. I have moved the holster back a tad so it’s not constantly hitting my thigh, having something for the leg strap to swivel on helps too

    I need help, if anyone has any tips that'd be fantastic.
    I've found that my belt is hurting my hips, i have an alien gear holster and a 5.11 medbag both utilising thigh straps, 2 mag holsters, a dump pouch which is mostly kept empty. A small medic pouch (not a full ifak) and a radio pouch. The medbag
    I struggle to find a way i can wear it without it hurting my hips.
    I did have it on a velco inner belt at first, then i switched to using a hsgi padding but that hasn't helped unfortunately.
    I haven't weighed my belt setup but i don't see it being heavier than any average duty belt so any help would be massivly appreciated like how high should i have the belt? Should the thigh straps be tight or just tight enough to stop them from flapping about?

    • @Budget_operator
      @Budget_operator 4 місяці тому +1

      Unless you use your medbag in your regular kit then take that off throw it in a backpack. The thigh straps wouldn’t be an issue but make sure your actual belt isn’t tight. Also think about how it’s distributed. You don’t want all the weight on one side and make sure it’s above your hip bone not on it. I recommend getting a mini ifak also.

    • @Papa7Bravo
      @Papa7Bravo 4 місяці тому

      @Budget_operator i weighed my belt setup as i ran it and it is only 11 lbs so nothing compared to a regular duty belt.
      Would you say to run the belt with the top of the pelvis and only run it only tight enough to stop it slipping down from there kinda like using the pelvic bone as a shelf?

      @@thedirtyb4stvrdI am not being pompous. Alien gear truly has maroons working in their CS department.
      That and people lie constantly on UA-cam for what ever reason.
      You contacted them and bought it anyways?
      I did that with their p320 holsters. All I wanted to know was what the difference is between the compact and carry fitment.. they suggested I buy a new holster.. not mentioning the only difference being a horse shoe shaped piece of removable plastic being the only difference.
      I later took a dremel to them so 5” guns would fit.
      Mojo has staccato’s in AG holsters and I know for a fact 1 (if not more) are NOT staccato specific. Why this information is being gate keeped is beyond me.

      @KnightTime13 just something I noticed. The man still didn't do poorly on the drill, but there is always room for improvement. These are things they talk about. Notice his body position literally change back to his natural stance after they were literally thinking about it. Right foot goes back. There are a multitude of stances you can shoot in but it doesn't make it the best.
