Hi there, great video! Do you know if this would work with a print and cut design and a pen drawn design all on one sticker? can you advise me how to do that if possible? Also do you consider labels basically the same as a sticker? Is this smart vinyl thicker than sticker paper? Will it stay on well? Would I need to laminate? Thanks so much!!!
I haven’t done print then cut yet, so I’m not 100% sure, but that sounds like it would work! Yea the labels are just a sticker. They stay on well but if you’re using the pen method they will get smudged if wet
Thank you for this tutorial! I knew my Explore Air 2 would do this but I couldn't figure out HOW to do it. Every other video had me printing my labels on my printer and then having the cricut cut them. That's not what I wanted to do. You saved my project!
Heat transfer vinyl would not work in this situation. If you look at the other Cricut pantry label video on my channel I use regular adhesive vinyl which you might find more useful.
These are cute. On the jars, did you use permanent or removable vinyl. I used removable but they are coming off. I’m going to redo them because I want to use a different font anyway. It was one of my very 1st projects last year. I didn’t know exactly what I was doing.
I made these today. I was in love with them until I picked one up with damp hands and the writing all smudged. Why would that happen? I see in another comment you mentioned they could be hand washed.
Sorry I missed this comment! No you cannot hand wash these. If you get pen marks wet they will get smudged. If you want to avoid that you could cut out labels with vinyl instead. I also have a video on that on my channel
A lot of great information on this video, thankyou. Take care and God Bless y'all always
Thank you so much for watching Lisa! ❤️❤️
I am new to your channel and I LOVE it here. I got a cricut joy for Christmas and I'm so excited to use it.
That is awesome, you’re going to love it! Thank you so much for watching Carol! 😊🤍
Welcome to the Cricut Community
Thank you for this wonderful, informative video.
Thank you for watching!
Which Circut cutters do you prefer?
@@marvinblackburn3659 I have the explore air 2 and the maker and I love both!
Your instructions are excellent. I am a beginner.
Thank you so much! I’m glad it could help! 😊

Yay! I’m so glad you found it helpful! Thanks for watching!
Love this very detailed video because I do unload the mat and then reload and get mad at the machine for not getting it right
Glad it could help! Thank you so much for watching!
@@AndreaPeacockDIY yes ma'am and your so welcome ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Can you make all of them then just resize the labels that need to be smaller or larger rather then individually?
You can make them whatever size you need
Can I use HTV vinyle as if it were permanent to make these labels as that's all I have

Thank you. I have been looking for a tutorial on using the cricut pens to make a sticker! Thank you!
I’m so glad it was helpful!
I'm a beginner. How do you duplicate the circle on cricut design space for the round labels?
Press command or control d on your keyboard depending if you have a Mac or Windows, or you can right click on it and click duplicate
How do you restart the project on the maker 3 so it will write again?
What do you mean by restart the project?
@@AndreaPeacockDIY start it so it will write the text again without ejecting the mat.

I used permanent! I used permanent vinyl on some other jars two years ago and they’ve held up well 😊
can these steps use for cricut joy?
I believe you would need to use Cricut Joy pens because they are smaller, but the overall concept should be the same!
Is that writeable vinyl the same as printable vinyl?
No it’s not the same. I haven’t tried writing on the printable vinyl with the Cricut but you could give it a try if you have it!
