essentailly every smuggs trail has an out of bounds section.. been riding it for 20 years and i still have people show me new cliffs/ drops I never knew existed.. I recognized hersheys highway and some back bowls.
Kevgodee it's actually all filmed in the backcountry, generally these guys only film out of bounds because that's where the powder is. I can tell all of this was filmed in the Back Bowls which are between Stowe and Smuggs, if you look at the downhill shots you can see into the Notch.
I played in those woods for 20+ years, but on a Snowboard. There's nothing new under the sun, people have been riding back there for at least 50 years. I recognize everything in this video (except the park stuff, never liked the park). I'll offer you this: That area can't support a lot of use, and by publicizing it with videos you're going to attract more and more people. This isn't a good thing. I think we'd all appreciate it if you either don't identify where this is, or just not put out videos of it. If you find something good, keep it to yourself and you'll be able to enjoy it for a very long time. Share it and you'll get to watch it get ruined. I say this from experience.
I've gotta say, you make pretty solid videos and I enjoy watching them! Keep em coming!
another awesome episode!
Stowe/Smuggs is the best in the east for backcountry, no denying it.
Mad River is also great
I don't think Stowe is as good though for backcountry
I’d argue otherwise but I don’t want to spoil my spot
Jay Peak
bolton valley is a hidden Vermont backcountry gem
Great video boys, keep it up
cool song who singing this , and the name of it?
We’re in the hell is this part of the backcountry?
