You guys are completely on par with the style, stoke, and footage of all the classic Warren Miller stuff. I've never been prouder to be an E.C. skier and surfer..... yall are the first vids I pull up to show people how insane we can get it in the North East. Thanks for your epic videos.
@@SkitheEast was it on the resort or just on mount mansfield? Cause if u can take the chairlift to that spot I wanna know where it is, I'll walk to it even if they have it roped off I was goin down roped off glades 3 days ago😂
I don't understand what people complain about with this whole East Coast thing... I've never skied snow like that in Europe (although it is possible...)
because the west is better on average then the east for snow. Its no secret, but thats not to say the east doesnt get snow at all. East coast for life.
We have nasty temperature swing on the East coast too. I was actually at Stowe and Smuggler's Notch end of Jan. You would think end of Jan is a safe bet to book a place and stay for the whole weekend. SURPRISE! Rained like crazy during 3rd week of Jan. At Smuggler's Notch, you could literally see the grass everwhere in the middle of the trails. So yes we get good snow dumps, but very often with rain in between storms considerably reducing the snow pack and increasing the FOMO factor. Especially when it's dumping on a Monday and you're lock at the job. :)
Some amazing content! Would love to see what the video setup was like to set up such sweet shots in the conditions. Tons of powder bein' thrown all around.
I am sick of people hating east coast sking. My last four trips out west have been average at best. Three to Alta, Snowbird and one to Jackson. Yes it snows in the east and yes it rains. I have a lot of great days in the east then again I ski every weekend.
Yes, looks like a lot above the gondola and between the Fourunner quad and gondola peaks (above Rimrock and to the right of Bypass if you're looking at the map).
@@georgelee3155 Are those final shots at the end of the video in hellbrook? Looks like it because of the frozen waterfalls and cascades they're dropping. So jealous that it's skiable like that in those conditions. Other parts of the video look like some of the chutes off The Nose, but I'm not sure.
You... think we never ski the west? We do. We are, in the aggregate, better skiers. When is a 50 degree headwall not 50 degrees? When it's located in the west after a storm. Props to Beartooth though, it skis like an east coast hill.

Awesome storm capture. Some of those shots in the notch are only skiable once every several years.
deeep! so rad .. thanks for keeping the stoke alive STE!
Line Skis Everyone watching this vid be sure to check out Line Skis and their 2018 lineup! They make high quality skis and are an amazing company
Love it!!! Only seen powder like this once at Pico w/4 days of nonstop snow
The days you never forget...
Stoke is alive and well!! I'll need more of that by about Aug 17!
Love the track behind it too.
looks amazing, im hoping for massive powder dumps this february
Wonderful, the Stowe I know is usually ice with all the steep stuff roped off!
vipahman ya lol does not look like Stowe something tells me there some where else
Nope - all Stowe

@@georgelee3155 ohhhh ok, thanks man I'll definitely be looking for it next season, looks like gnarly spot
Awesome as always!

You know you guys inspire us on our work the kids want us to get powder shots like that of them in our work. Nevada keeps getting stuck.
Best part of last season was March with a month of pow dumps. Skied knee to waist deep snow all over VT
Jeep, you must do all your skiing in Scotland

Looks deep and super fun!
Wouldn't mind if you sent some of that fresh out west! ;)
loved this
Steep deep and awesome.
Dreaming of that kinda snow. Keep it up! Greetings from Upper Bavaria.
It happens!
Conditions look all time!
Great song
Jesus, I have to get up north to "the real Vermont" next year, nothing like this in the southern part of the state where I am.
Sometimes Southern VT gets the snow when Northern doesn't! But for the most part...you are correct
Um yeah.... Tami..... badass 😜🤘🏼
Powder for days!! We LOVE east coast powder.
It does happen!
awesome video!
Thanks!

Everywhere can have crappy conditions. It's all about timing with this sport and Mother Nature playing nice...
@@SkitheEast So true.
Another buck list shred session but so need to add some homies on boards who can hanggggg!!
What's the trippy song at the end starting 4:28
Where is 0:47
off the nose ?
Nice one keep your foot on the pedal and milk it thanks for the eye candy
When was this shot?
Cole Dumas if I had to guess some time between March 8-11 2018

nah, they usually film the previous year and edit it over the year.
vivaelfutb0l it was actually from last year
Last year
Superbowl weekend 2017
Curious are these areas off the lifts? Or do you need to hike out to these?!
Most of this is Stowe backcountry, which they used skins to hike to
2:55 damn that was creepy
If you know the super secret lines and willing to work your ass off to get to them... I live in NY....on avg the skiing is pretty crappy...
Where is this?
Mount Mansfield in Stowe, VT
Stowe, Mecca of NE US (Jay close 2nd). Charm & adrenaline!
And a TON of snow! It was a good season at both mountains
Obviously CGI! Everyone knows New England snow falls in the form of cement and imediately turns to blue ice!!
You should how much we allocate for our CGI budget every filming year. If only it actually snowed...
Is this the backcountry there?
Yes, looks like a lot above the gondola and between the Fourunner quad and gondola peaks (above Rimrock and to the right of Bypass if you're looking at the map).
@@crm1225 some of it is out in the notch as well

@@Shawn-wt4kh yeah a good portion of the video is filmed out in the notch
Stowe just closed cause of Coronavirus
Spring skiing suckes there anyway they only run 1 lift
Fun video but I honestly feel bad for all your poor suckers on the East Coast.
