That was an awesome video. I loved seeing a different perspective on the trip we had. George is comedic gold! I love how you captured the beauty of the springs and highlighted a lot of the wildlife. Great video, regarding our competition I’d say it was a tie.

It was fun! That trip was amazing. Funny how many times I have been down other parts of the Santa Fe, but that was the first time doing that part. George was pretty much the star. Mainly because he was the only thing we could hear. 😆

Just a bit of trivia for your Santa Fe trip. The last alligator fatality in this part of the state was when a women was eaten... in the Santa Fe river. Have a nice trip.

I didn't know that. A few years ago, a group of us swam from the SR 47 boat ramp to Wilson springs if you know where that is at. The river was low at that point and pretty clear. There were only a few parts of these river that made me a little nervous. Mainly where it widened, got darker, and the current slowed. Thank you for watching!

@@ralphwhite759 Sure, easy swim when you make it. Which would probably be most times. Until the time you didn't. They never found most of the woman's body that was eaten. Gators in Florida have been protected so long now that some have gotten very large. One way to tell a big bull gator is in a section of river is to notice the absence of smaller ones. Big gators will eat or drive off the little ones. So, no little gators means a big one is nearby. Lived here a long time, hunting and fishing all my life on the rivers and lakes around here. I see people letting kids swim in places that are really dangerous, but won't listen when told.
