I’m a Russian Blue cat mom. He’s very low maintenance, very independent, was never destructive, very affectionate and is a talker, especially when it’s time to eat. He cuddles with me every night and has been an emotional support.
I have a female Russian blue, she never ever broke anything, she hates when things fall from a table for example. She thought us to fetch... We stay in front of a river, and she is busy all day because of the wildlife she sees from the window. We also have a Siamese cat, which sheds much more and is much more vocal. I would recommend a Russian Blue even to any dog person😅
I just lost one to cancer 2 weeks ago he was 18 years old and I had him from a kitten. I'm going to look at another one tomorrow.. I know what to expect and already miss the routine and structure it provided. Awesome cats. I'll never own another breed.
I am not a Russian Blue cat "owner". She is my family, my best friend, my comic relief! She's amazing and I didn't even know she was a Russian Blue until 3 weeks after I adopted her! 💙 She is 5 months old and soooo incredibly CUTE!!! I love everything about her 🥰
I adopted mine a couple months ago.. I’m just finding out she’s a “Russian Blue” I lover her & also thinks she’s beautiful ☺️ Now my older cat, her older step-sister, a tabby, thinks she’s a pain in the butt 😁
I adopted a Russian Blue last year at the age of 7. She was a Rescue from the Humane Society. She came with chronic respiratory problems and needs a puffer every 12 hours. At the beginning she was hiding for 2 weeks and came only out for food and the litter box. Now, she follows me everywhere sleeps in my bed, greets my friends at the door, but even with vet prescribed food I can't get her to loose weight. 🤔. I love her to bits and pieces and understand her wishes, her needs and she has trained me well. The best thing I did was adopting her ♥️
The only way to get her weight, and hopefully health restored is to feed her a high quality diet she's designed to eat, on a strict schedule. Domestic cats are aggregate carnivores, just like their cousins in the wild. Pet food brands on the market are void of any nutritional value regardless of labelling. Check out Paws of Prey on YT. Hopefully your RB will live a long, happy, fulfilled life with you.
I adopted mine at the humane society. They said "no one will adopt her" and I said "I will!" She was fostered because she was a momma cat too. I found out she had 2 boys and 2 girls. All were adopted. She appears to go looking for them and meows for them. I give her hugs and pets and she calms down. She is an amazing catto.
I adopted mine at 7! She went to the rainbow bridge Feb 11 this year, So she was about just over 15, I miss her so much!! Such lovely cats indeed in so many ways. There's a tribute video of her on my channel.
For whatever reason, my russian blue LITERALLY TRAINS MY ENTIRE FAMILY TO BE WITH ME. She learned how to open the one door that is specific to my room. She always meows more loudly when my dad is home since he opens the door for her when she yells enough. Hell, she's recently learned that, by meowing like she wants to get out (but not going out), she just gets free pets from me! I love this damn cat! She's so absurdly smart, and uses that smartness to be the literal best cat I will ever have. She only does this with me, and usually gets most affectionate when I'm going to bed.
I didn't know what a Russian Blue was until I rescued one from a vet 2 years ago. He is years old and is just simply precious. I'm home alone all day, so he keeps me company and is very loving and affectionate. I have had many cats in my lifetime....but nothing like this. We are on the same exact schedule and he sleeps at my head at night. I could go on.......but I'm sure most everyone in here knows what I'm talking about. I don't know what I would do without him.
My wife and I just recently lost our 16 year old male Russian blue and my heart is still broken. I have never owned a cat like him..he was my tv watching partner and he slept against my legs at night. I miss him so much. We are currently looking for a rb kitten as we speak. His name was fiddy and oh how he loved his chicken. He would follow me from the time I got home from work till he jumped in bed with us.
I have 2 Russian blues now, and have had 2 others years ago, so I am familiar with them. but this new 1 that I have now is constantly eating! he is 2 1/2 yrs. old, very healthy, newly adopted, and this shocks us! they are very loveable, Beautiful cats, and I LOVE THEM!!
We live bbn in a mobile home park. Someone moved and left a 3 month old female Russian blue to fend units own. Very sad as cats are not disposable. We have her now! Named Sasha, so loving and smart! Vet says great health! Very happy to have her in the family!! Landlord is trying to track previous owner as he is a abid cat person and does not tolerate people abandoning cats or kittens.
I’d wanted a Blue Russian cat for many years. I got one last spring. He is fabulous and has been attached to me since the ride home from across town. He’s very cool, loves to sleep in the bed and not too destructive.
Our Russian Blue is very sweet, talkative and loves to follow mommy around the house. He wakes up early and wants to eat and then play and will meow until you pay attention. His fur is soft sheds very little. We love him. His name is Bodie
My mixed domestic shorthair gray russian blue cat ran away and never returned. My mom truly miss him. My brother adopted a 1 year old russian blue momma cat for my mom’s bday. She cried when we welcomed our new cat a place to stay. Never declaw their sharp nails.
It's very sad when a cat does not return home. That happened once to me. Surprisingly, After about a year he returned. I couldn't recognize him anymore and he had become Ferrel. He fought feircely with my new male cat. But he kept trying to come home. The ferral BR was strong and aggressive to my new, mild BR cat. I finally had to decide between the two and I stopped feeding Mr. Ferrel. He finally stopped coming around. I hope he found a good home. 😔😔
A Russian blue cat came to my door 2 months ago , I did everything to find his owner but no luck. I have six other cats but he is so special and love him so much.. ❤ so I think I'm gonna adopt him too..
I love my Russian blue Pennycat! She's amazing and showed up at my door as a baby . I don't know where she came from but she holds my hand when I feel sad.
I had a female RB who lived for 18 years and 3 months while she was diagnosed with a bad disease when she was about 6 years. I took care of her so well that she did live still a very long time! Then when she passed, I got a boy this time and he was just 3 months old. He is the most affectionate cat I ever had but also the most mischievous one!!! He is worse than a 3 year old child!!! He follows me everywhere as well, and when you think he is sleeping, nope, he always keeps an eye open and as soon as I go to another room, here he is! He is unbelievably active, talkative, especially when we look at each other! So adorable! I can do whatever I want with him, but only me can do that. He will piss me off, scavenging from my desk, under the fridge, from anywhere and will start a party at 10 pm while I try to fall asleep and few minutes later, he will nurture in my arms, groom my face, the whole nine yards with the purring engine on and melt my heart! Geez, what a kitty! I would be able to write an entire 50 pages book about him!!! Later, my breeder gave me a little girl that was retired from the breeding program. She was already 4 years old. The adjustment has been very slow but now she let me take her in my arms and she comes to me to be pet and kissed. She loves knocking my face with her wet nose running her purring machine like crazy! She became very affectionate but again, only with me. Her temperament is very close to my first kitty at the difference she is extremely scared of anything! But she is a real sweetheart, and she is very calm and "mature". In terms of nutrition, the girl eats reasonably, but the boy always wants to eat. He loves popcorn, potato chips, all kind of stuff I don't want him to have and if I forget to put away a bag of those food, he will get his way to steal the food! I give them high quality food, for sure. They also both bring their favorite toy to where I am! And when the stick gets stuck in the door cat-trap, they both are crying! The boy has a specific voice that literally melts my heart, it is such a sweet voice, I can't describe with words how it sounds like but really, it is the sweetest voice I had ever heard! I love both of them equally and unconditionally. I wish I could post some pictures of both of them! They are both so adorable together! and both really beautiful. Everybody, vets included, say that they, especially the boy, are handsome and could win a beauty contest!
MY FIRST BLUE WAS 18 WHEN SHE DIED IN MY ARMS N I CRIED LIKE A LIL BOY! SHE LOVED ME RIGHT BACK N WAS EXTREMELY PROTECTIVE OF ME OF ANYONE N EVERYONE UP TO N INCLUDING BOTH SIDES OF THE FAMILIES!!! SHE WAS MY BABY GIRL!! MISS YOU MINGSU!
I rescued my cat as a kitten, she was a feral. The father was black and her mother was gray and white,"Marley",looks just like a Russian blue but that doesn"t matter at all.I love her.
I have a 4 mo Russian Blue. He loves the family but does not get along with our crotchety old orange tabby that is 21 yo. We trim his nails to avoid scratches. He climbs up my jeans when I’m standing. Always wants to see what I’m doing. Very soft shimmering coat.
You have a kitten RB, that sounds adorable 2 males cats usually don't get along. But being a kitten makes it a little easier. give them time, like a year or 2 to establish their friendship.
My Russian Blue is the most polite young lady. She will thank me when I give her food and water. When I don't let her put of the apartment right away, she will jump and hang on my coat. Thry do need plenty of space. Having one in a one room apartment is really not good. I do let her out so she can zoom the hallways. We do go out on the deck for a short time. She enjoys those times.
My cat is nothing like that at all. His play time is very minimal he shows no affection. He is very healthy. He eats just fine.I leave dry food out he eats it through the week. He loves our 2 dogs
I have a short hair domestic black (Ninja 1 year) a Russian Blue (Marvel 2 years) and an old stray we adopted (Harry 15 years). They all get the same treatment, fun, play, wrestling with each other and me, fresh meat and raw chicken. They are all wonderful. Ninja and Marvel are best buddies and tare up the house multiple times a day. So very exciting. Marvel is a hunter, he brings in live fish, frogs, birds, mice, shrews and slowworms. He then plays them to death and eats them. If only he would clean up the bird feathers 😩😝😆
My Russian Blue used to scratch me as a signal she wanted to play. What can I say? I bled. I started making a big deal about it, shaking my hand to show I was hurt and moaning. She doesn't scratch me anymore. So smart!
I had a problem with mice until my son brought his Russian blue to stay with me. Victor likes to stalk them, catch them and eat them, tail and all. I don’t like the fact that he eats them but I can’t stop him ❤ He is an amazing pet. He’s is loving, playful and very smart. He recognizes some words, especially no 😄 and contrary to what I have read he loves to curl up on my lap and sleep while I watch TV
My Russian blue is a mix, but this totally describes him. He will sit on my lap for short times to say hello, hates being picked up - but tolerates the rare necessities. He is hilarious, smart and loves his routines. He is a rescue, and will not empty his food bowl, but beckons us to pet him as he eats, and add food so he can never see the bottom of kibble mountain. He is a year old and very playful. He likes to be near us, but owns all the furniture in the house.
we turned it corner with my semi-8feral Russian blurb to the cat tower when he popped out with ‘“oh wow I” everyone turned towards him In amazement and then towards me…did I ‘throw’ my voice? And then towards him. It was perfectly appropriate! Over our 20+ years together he became my best friend and my sweet jealous lover and after a horrible 24 hours in which he tried to climb the stairs because he knew I was troubled over a dis- Agreement with a sub…he knew I was trying to communicate with this A A angry sub and he fell down the stairs and I tripped over him and he had two seizures and fearing he was in horrible pain I had a over the rainbow bridge come out and put him to sleep which I will never get over rethinking and missing him from. My neighbor summarized it with “ did you talk it over with him…. I had been up for 76 hours straight and well I keep praying there will be a heaven and Smokey with be there. My darling baby sweet!
My Russian Blue is 16 years old. He gets brushed almost every day, and he loves it. He's not as playful as when he was younger, but when he was, he would never let me skip play time. He even played with his 3 dogs. He wants to be with me always. He's sweet, and he's not a lap cat, but loves to be carried around. He is with his second round of dogs now, but seemed to like the last three much two more (they were large breeds), and these are smaller ones. I think Russian Blues love their humans more than anything else.
I have 2, they are sisters. One loves me, the other is all over my husband. Very picky eaters and crazy adventures, not afraid of anything. They just 4 months old. I also have senior ginger cat, he is almost 20 and they cuddle with home once in a while. Love my kittens.
The Russian Blue is the most minimalist of all cats - the Muji or the iPod of the cat world, so to speak. An understated design with no unnecessary embellishments, it is a perfect fusion of form and function. It helps that it comes in only in one color: a very demure and muted grey. The Russian Blue is a what a cat would have looked like if Dieter Rams had designed a cat.
I've just acquired a stray Russian Blue. He's a senior with a really bad wound on the back of his ear. He must be at least 12 or more years old. He has all the traits talk about in this video. He's going to the next week for neutering and to check that wound.
I have two. A 3 year old mama and her son, a 14 month recently neutered male. Honey & Bosley. I got them from the shelter and am still working on digestion and food. They need to be exercised every day, mostly twice a day. They own me and my house has become a feline play pen. They are both indoor cats only, although Bosley might want to go out come spring. He is curious, she is not. They are very loving pets. This is my first experience with Russian Blues.
I recieved a Russian Blue as a 3m kitten from family, he's an affectionate ball of energy that no matter how much play we give him; he still wants to do more and more. His energy reserves now at 6m have all but increased, we are still awaiting his baby teeth to fall out while he wants to teeth on everything but the teething toys, sticks, and other things we have gotten him. But when his reserves do calm down, he just wants cuddles and love. He also will also be vocal to the utmost highest degree when he is upset, whether it be the liter box, being in his carrier, or just bored. When we went to take him to get fixed, he was deemed the loudest and most disruptive cat within the clinic. His name is Ez and he is not easy.
My Russian Blue is the world's busiest cat. He requires a minimum of at least 6hours of play each day. Often he will play for 12hours or more. He is the Tasmanian devil of cats. He is good natured and loves pets but he is way too busy and cannot sit still for very long. All affection must be on his terms. If he doesn't get 6hours of play, he chases his Nebelung sister and she gets mad. So our Russian Blue must be kept busy.
I just adopted a Russian blue kitty between one and a half and two and a half years old. He has already been declawed, which I think is totally cruel, and I guess he was dumped out amongst a bunch of feral cats. A friend that knew I was looking for a friend from my Siamese cat Jackson brought Grayson over. I can't wait to get them a kitty tree to climb on! Be sweet I tell them LOL they're still getting to know each other. Grayson is very affectionate towards me and he's getting used to my Jackson who's 5 months.
I adore my Russian Bleu. I named him Bleu. He is by far the funniest and sweetest boy. He can be rambunctious chasing his sister around but overall he is a big sweetie.
My Russian Blue (Lee Loo) is the smartest cat i have ever owned she is a small cat compared to others she has a genital soul, soft little meows long legs slim build and is great with kids she loves her balls and playing fetch, she follows me everywhere, she is very active i have a tracker on her because she goes out side. she stays very close to home and comes when called she is perrrrfect!
I'm not sure but I think my Sterling is a Russian blue or mix. His appearance mostly fits the description except for the white patch he has on his chest. He's my little buddy he's so loving to the point where he's not only affectionate to his people but he cuddles my new Siamese kitten and grooms him to. He's playful towards all his brothers and he plays fetch with me. He's not very vocal that when he meows he has a soft quiet meow and the only issue I have is that I can't keep cat food out without him gorging on it she's become quite the fatty and I have to monitor how much he eats. He also Stark's me while I'm in the bathroom he likes to watch my business flush down the toilet or hang around when I'm in the shower he loves it when I sing to him and unlike my other cat's he is more welcoming when a new cat is in the home all in all he's my fun-loving little buddy I'm very loved by this family
I have a Russian Blue cat and I can say he definitely likes to eat all the time. He acts like he doesn't get fed but that's simply not the case. I highly encourage any cat owner/parent to buy a food dispenser with a timer. The food dispenser feeds my cat at 6AM, 12PM, 6PM and 10 PM with equal portions of food. He gets these 4 meals spaced out during the course of a 24 hour period so he doesn't feel as hungry when I'm not home. He is a wonderful cat and loves to join me when I do my daily stretches. I built my cat a cat tower that is 2 ft L x 3 ft W x 6.5 ft high with wheels on the bottom that I can move around the house.
I've never had a Russian Blue but I've had a couple cats before. And before I'll consider getting one again, or a dog either, I'd build an outdoor area first. An electric door that opens only to them, and a safe, fenced area, with a roof, to keep other animals out for safety. And it'd give them some nice, extra space. I'd want the outdoor area to be of a pretty good size too.
My last Russian blue died in Feb she was 12 years old . Just got a new Russian blue kitten .. she’s adorable!!! She’s busy climbing up the curtains though .. brought her several toys and cat tree .. playtime goes on forever! Lol😅
I have the pleasure of having a Russian blue male cat he was given to me after he was found abandoned in 2016 & I have had many cats in my 53 yrs I would bring home every stray I found but this guy is extraordinary he is very social loves to greet everyone who comes to my house he understands 2 languages & responds accordingly I have an enclosed back yard where he is safe to roam & when I tell him to come upstairs in either greek or English he comes running!!!! & he does have his favorite people my elderly mom & myself but I also have 2 other rescued kitties 2 girls & he is a little jealous of them because mom shows them attention then he comes to me & he sleeps with me in our bed & he rubs his face in mine gives me nose kisses & loves to lay very close to me or even on me!!!! he does have a weight problem though & I dont know what to do he's probably 10 pounds overweight now but its difficult to curb his eating habits since I have the other 2 cats!!!! but he's my pride & joy I never had kids but he's my big baby he loves my desk chair so any time I leave my chair he will jump on it then when I get back I tell him to get down & he gives me a look & meows & I swear it sounds like he's saying no so we argue but when mom calls him he goes running problem solved!!!!!! & considering I am permanently disabled due to strokes & I'm home with mom 24/7 he knows & concentrates his snuggling on my left side my paralyzed side !!&hes the best therapy for my depression!!!!
Somebody dumped a litter of Russian Blue or what seemed to be near our home. One of them found it's way to our crawlspace under the house. He has since proven to be the single most affectionate cat I have owned. His eyes stayed yellow and did not turn green. He is asleep in my lap right now.
I have a Russian blue, and she is my baby. I gave birth to her myself. She has very high anxiety when me and my boyfriend leave, so I have to let her stay in my room to avoid accidents outside of the litter box. She is a big lover (only when she feels like it) and loves to bring me hair ties and her other favorite toys to get praised. She hides her toys in spots only she knows. She loves talking and has all kinds of songs she sings.
I got a Russian blue cat he's cool as shit but he's EXTREMELY chatty and clingy😂😂😂 he loves those "I hate cats" people it's like he smells it on them and zeros in on them and meows them to DEFF until they get tired of his shit and pet him 😂😂😂
I love my Russian Blue. He’s overweight, which is totally my fault. I’m trying to lessen the food intake now and it’s hard, because he wants more food.
Thx for taking him in. Cats can take up to a year before they adopt you as their butler. Be patient. Talk to him, pet him, and play with him. He'll find out that you're not so bad to hang out with!!
I love my Russian Blue. She is female and I named her Ashley. She is really smart too. But she is too smart. She acts like she is my owner and that is scary sometimes 😁 But besides all that, she is a great cat and I love her 🐈⬛
My RB Nitka is nine years plus(human years) She does not fit any of the traits of the ones in the videos. She is very flighty and darts away at the lest sound. She loves belly rubs and does know when it is time to eat.I guess I should brush her more. I take her for check ups annually or if there is a problem. She has big green eyes.
My cat the vet has him down as a russian blue. But i think he might be a korat also. He always sleeps in my shoes. And sleeps at my feet. He doesnt like kids or noise.
Mine, too. She will eat Solid Gold Indigo Moon kibble if I give her Friskies on the side. So I put chicken stock in with it and make kitty stew with a few drops of cat vitamins. The vet says she's very healthy.
Mine loves Sheba and Seafood Sensations lol. She also likes those minnow treats and temptation treats. She also goes after my chicken strips when I bring it home from work.
My first one was very laid back and independent, she had one successful litter of two all black kitties one had a white spot on it's chest the father was a tabby she was stolen recently and luck has it I was able to get another only with his brother which was cool they're a riot tighter! Fyi these guys will not be indoor outdoor kitties they for sure will be indoor don't want to go thru that heartache again I was lucky to find another so I'm guarding there's two with military grade security lol!😅😂
@@74yodinosaur99 I think they make a crunchy dry dental food that is supposed to remove some of the tartar. It might be good to treat your cat a couple times a month.
i dont even feed him cat food i give him steak bits and let him chase birds and rats in the backyard all day hes living the good life though he is a hefty chonker
My Russian blue gets sassy if I’m not ready to go to bed when he is, or if I’m reading a book in bed with a dim light on. He’ll sigh and go sleep in another room until I turn the light off… weirdo.
i have son .. russian blue ...he is so cute and have 10 years of age now...always i have been at home with him and he was never by him self .now i have a boyfriend and he is asking me to stay some night at his house .i have take my cat at his house but it was a very disturbing for my cat that he has left his home and started to cry till i have get him home ...now i rely cant go anywhere because i"m so afraid to leave him alone at home ..for whole night.....what i should do? i have been gone for one night and at the morning he was so sad........
Always thought that cats are cats, but Russians are unique and most traits described in many videos are bang on accurate, aside from needing to brush and succeptable to obesity. His coat is like a velvet plush, and his food dish is always stocked yet he is just sleek muscle. I think it's cheep for that makes them fat. Make sure you put some effort in for playtime or you might not get any sleep because those razer sharp claws will skate across the laminate and most definitely find that one bottle cap. Never once heard a hiss or growl, just little meows and chirps. Get the tallest tree and scratching post you can find cause they want to be the high ground, unfortunately that won't save that one spot on the carpet or corner of a chair that took a liking to along with specific spots he cannot walk by with out wiggling his ass? They got one favorite human which happens to be me at my home which irks my wife cause she loves him to bits too.
I had a Russian blue cat before are everything u say about them it's true but also she save my life three time are feel asleep with a cigarette in my hand the cigarette drop into bed and she came real quick and wake me up quick
@@GRIMSREVENGE253 I rescued my Russian Blue (and Bombay) from a box full of 2 different litters, on the side of the road, beginning of this year. The other litter was Bombay. Had to be over a dozen kittens in the box. No mixed colors.... only solid gray with blue eyes, nose, paw pads and solid black with blue eyes, black nose and paw pads (a defining factor in authentic purebred without a DNA test of course). So... while purebred kittens are expensive (and puppies), you never know what you may find, or what may find you. In fact, everytime I would see a video of someone finding a stray kitten I would think "why doesn't that ever happen to me?".... low and behold, not one but TWO, that just so happen to be free 🤷♀️ found me. I've never been so in love.
@@sussybaka551 If I ever turn my life around, I'm going to have a whole room with everything a Russian Blue can climb and play on and breed them pure and sell them $1200.00 each so I know they will have good homes. That's just one dream I have. I have so many.
@@GRIMSREVENGE253 Do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life. Breeding domestic animals, specifically your preferred pet, would be very rewarding. Nothing is off the table, as far as your dreams. In fact, I believe the entrepreneurial mindset begins with a favored hobby long before the forethought OR ability to make it a fruitful business. I don't know what "turn my life around" means but every moment is an opportunity to start fulfilling your dreams. Maybe you're undecided or feel restricted by monetary circumstances or overwhelmed with the entirety of the process but what NO ONE has done, is found a magic genie lamp to achieve such. Take ONE action a day, or a week... whatever works for you, towards that which you truly desire. But what you don't do, is let the sleep paralysis demon keep you stuck in a nightmare! Life is too short for that, and I genuinely hope you take it to heart. 😃
I’m a Russian Blue cat mom. He’s very low maintenance, very independent, was never destructive, very affectionate and is a talker, especially when it’s time to eat. He cuddles with me every night and has been an emotional support.
Sleeps at the foot of our bed every night.
Yes, this sounds exactly like our Russian blue... 😊
Sounds just like mine, he is definitely a talker, and is very low maintenance, very independent and loves to be out and about !

Add lysine to her cat food it helps with allergies
I have a six year old Russian blue named Smokey. One of the best things to come into my life and one of the smartest cats I have ever known.
Never declaw any cat. It's cruel. If your sofa is more important than a living member of your family rethink your life.
😂agreed
Real bro
It seems the females are smarter than the males.
Never declaw any cat. Declawing is cruel. Russian Blues are great fun cats
does this mean that I should not cut the cats nail?
@@JaddyyYeah that's exactly what it means. Declawing means trimming. Fuck I hate people.

Good for your landlord. And double good to you for giving Sasha a home.
Adapt him, or adopt him? Good luck with adapting a cat.
@englishciderlover7347 😂😂😂 Just what I was thinking!
@@englishciderlover7347 😊😊
Everybody, vets included, say that they, especially the boy, are handsome and could win a beauty contest!
y would you get another
MY FIRST BLUE WAS 18 WHEN SHE DIED IN MY ARMS N I CRIED LIKE A LIL BOY! SHE LOVED ME RIGHT BACK N WAS EXTREMELY PROTECTIVE OF ME OF ANYONE N EVERYONE UP TO N INCLUDING BOTH SIDES OF THE FAMILIES!!! SHE WAS MY BABY GIRL!! MISS YOU MINGSU!
So sorry!😢
It’s amazing how much capacity for love animals have. It makes one feel like you will meet again
😢
First : Never talk about the war in Ukraine with them
😆
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I was thinking the same 😂
“Special military operation”, definitely not a war.
😂😂😂
I rescued my cat as a kitten, she was a feral. The father was black and her mother was gray and white,"Marley",looks just like a Russian blue but that doesn"t matter at all.I love her.
We love our Russian Blue❤❤💯so much personality
My Russian blue is very affectionate and loving. Beautiful fur beautiful eyes. She likes to eat alote And play and just has a great personality.
I have 2, littermates, oh that silky hair ❤❤❤
They are beautiful cats!!!
Thanks for the video, I appreciate it👍
My little Sony cat is the sweetest girl. She knows how to communicate in a way I will understand, and she is my best little friend.
I just rescued two Russian blues. One is one year and one is two
My Russian Blue is the most polite young lady.
My russian blue is crazy!!! Dog on hyper. 😂🤣 Don't worry, I play with his crazy self. 😂
My Russian Blue cat was mean when she was young. Now she’s calmed down. But good lord those claws are brutal.
exactly my cat, he's 4.5mths now and crazy, loves to bite and play with his sharps claws 😆😆
I don’t like the fact that he eats them but I can’t stop him ❤
He is an amazing pet. He’s is loving, playful and very smart. He recognizes some words, especially no 😄 and contrary to what I have read he loves to curl up on my lap and sleep while I watch TV
My blue got ride of mine also after he played with them first
Mine kills field mice and birds outside, whe is owesome!
Over our 20+ years together he became my best friend and my sweet jealous lover and after a horrible
24 hours in which he tried to climb the stairs because he knew I was troubled over a dis-
Agreement with a sub…he knew I was trying to communicate with this A A angry sub and he fell down the stairs and I tripped over him and he had two seizures and fearing he was in horrible pain I had a over the rainbow bridge come out and put him to sleep which I will never get over rethinking and missing him from. My neighbor summarized it with “ did you talk it over with him…. I had been up for 76 hours straight and well I keep praying there will be a heaven and Smokey with be there. My darling baby sweet!
And I love him more that ever!
I have had one for 17yrs. I want another. We are well matched. Thank you for info
Great video and so true!
I just got one today thank you for this video
My russian blue is my best friend, i got him when he was 8 weeks old he is now 4, he is super cuddly and vocal, i love my Bowzer ❤❤❤❤❤❤
love my Russian Blue !!!! so sweet and loving. snuggles with me all night. he doesn't like strangers.
Declawing is horrible.
I have a Russian Black Cat. And this is ALL TRUE!!!
I adopted my RB from Animal Humane for $5.00. It's the best five bucks I've ever spent! I've gotten 500,000 tons of love from him!!! ❤💖💞💕💓❤💗💛💙💜💚
No responsible veterinarian would declaw a cat.
I adopted 4yrs .now Russian blue cat Smokey ,she s very playfull pet .
She is a great cat
My last Russian blue died in Feb she was 12 years old . Just got a new Russian blue kitten .. she’s adorable!!! She’s busy climbing up the curtains though .. brought her several toys and cat tree .. playtime goes on forever! Lol😅
My russian blue mercury is also playing with another cat thats a russian blue bob tailed one and he plays everyday since my fat cat dosent play much 😄
I have the pleasure of having a Russian blue male cat he was given to me after he was found abandoned in 2016 & I have had many cats in my 53 yrs I would bring home every stray I found but this guy is extraordinary he is very social loves to greet everyone who comes to my house he understands 2 languages & responds accordingly I have an enclosed back yard where he is safe to roam & when I tell him to come upstairs in either greek or English he comes running!!!!
I love my Russian Blue (Ash), most loving and good boy the universe has gifted me 🥺💜
Somebody dumped a litter of Russian Blue or what seemed to be near our home. One of them found it's way to our crawlspace under the house. He has since proven to be the single most affectionate cat I have owned. His eyes stayed yellow and did not turn green. He is asleep in my lap right now.
My girl definitely eats a lot! Just now cutting her food to 1/3 cup twice a day. She's getting chunky...❤
I found my Russian blue cat today near my house alone and he is so scared of everything
She acts like she is my owner and that is scary sometimes 😁
But besides all that, she is a great cat and I love her 🐈⬛
Automatic cat food feeder ✅ for mine
I miss you everyday Mr.Blue my best buddy. Rip.
I put a localizar on my blue Russian cat and leave him go out and can check where he is
My RB Nitka is nine years plus(human years) She does not fit any of the traits of the ones in the videos. She is very flighty and darts away at the lest sound. She loves belly rubs and does know when it is time to eat.I guess I should brush her more. I take her for check ups annually or if there is a problem. She has big green eyes.
My kitty is a gorgeous Russian Blue named Clyde he's about 8 years old ❤
My cat the vet has him down as a russian blue. But i think he might be a korat also. He always sleeps in my shoes. And sleeps at my feet. He doesnt like kids or noise.
Strong and fast😊
My baby is so adorable amazing and so affectionate she definitely loves it here. I don’t let her out smh. I’m scared to
Us blues are the best. Just ask my humans! ♥️🐈⬛
Well they are very energetic
My Russian blue only wants Friskies.
Mine, too. She will eat Solid Gold Indigo Moon kibble if I give her Friskies on the side. So I put chicken stock in with it and make kitty stew with a few drops of cat vitamins. The vet says she's very healthy.
Same!!!!! Or liquid treats like pushups or the delectable bisque lickable treats. It's hard to get him to eat anything else!
My Russian blue hates even taking worm tablets .I've never brushed his teeth .he has a lot of saliva he's 13 soon and his teeth seems fine 🙂
If he's got lots of saliva, he needs his teeth seeing to. It could be plaque
@@74yodinosaur99 I think they make a crunchy dry dental food that is supposed to remove some of the tartar. It might be good to treat your cat a couple times a month.
I actually just found out about Russian blues today! I was also told they are rare?
I have a gray female kitten with chocolate pads, what breed she is
i dont even feed him cat food i give him steak bits and let him chase birds and rats in the backyard all day hes living the good life though he is a hefty chonker
I don’t know what I’ll do with out my baby!
My Russian Blues are demanding little masters, sadly they are early risers. Breakfast starts at 0430
Yes I am a russian blue cat mom and she's very out going

I just got 2 Russian blue cats. But they are wild gotta keep em in the cage cause I guess they not use to people
These are expensive cats, what do you mean wild. You're not going to just find them hanging around garbage cans.

If I ever turn my life around,
I'm going to have a whole room with everything a Russian Blue can climb and play on and breed them pure and sell them $1200.00 each so I know they will have good homes.
