Linville Gorge, Daffodil Flats, Pinch In Trail

  • Climbing Pinch-In trail from the Linville Gorge trail in late March 2021. Gains over 1700ft. in 1.2 mile, very steep. This is the return from my hike to Daffodil Flats, with a short glimpse of, at the start of this video.

    You are in damn good shape, Dude....especially if you filmed this in the heat of August
    Trail looks worn down and may eventually become a gully.
    I propose an alternative trail to Pinchin starting at the same parking area but about twice as long and a bit more scenic. It would run into and across Mossy Canyon. Shade and water..
    Forest service needs to be thinking harder about this since they have already shown that they are weak in the trail building department...

      Yep. Shot this in March so temperature was comfortable. I am sure the traffic on that trail has been more damaging since then. Thanks for watching.
