He could protect some of them but there aren't any boards that can protect all of them, best case is then to do threat overload. Otherwise you are just letting the enemy kill you piecemeal.
The way the rules are written, you have to call it BEFORE the result of the attack is resolved. Totally useless as you may waste it on an attack which may have missed anyways.
It feels like when one member of the cast wants to run a meme list the other member doesn't get the memo. 1250(?) pts and Tycho opts for a 10man of Hellblasters? They're mean in 2k, I feel a little bad for Mubin having to face then at so critically low a point value.
Late, but I don’t think it’s the list at all. Firstly, the hellblasters are certainly solid, however Mubin has a ceptor and Haruspex, two of arguably the most meta units at this point in the meta (short of spore mine shenanigans). Secondly, Mubin makes some pretty glaring mistakes this game (I mean I know they’re not turbo competitive, but they do play to win). Looking at his backlog of nids games, my man just doesnt play them well. I understand the detachment isn’t/wasn’t the best (although running through walls now is insane), but the hellblasters and repulsor are really the only things in Tychos list capable of dropping a lot of the big bugs when played correctly.
I beat crusher stampede nids with my sisters of battle the other day, (not saying to brag, just mentioning given how weak sisters are atm) with all but one of my opponent's units being T10+. The issue is the detachment rule is really easy to ignore if they only take monsters, because you can just focus fire them one at a time and ignore the crusher stampede rule since they're either uninjured or dead. Funny thing is sisters have the same rule and it doesn't work particularly well for them, but miracle dice is a far better army rule than shadow of the warp, and can help work around wounding harder targets. Crusher is definitely the weaker of the new detachments, honestly invasion fleet seems to be the strongest still.
@@captainweekend5276Battleshock is a joke in 10th edition. Most armies have 6-7 as their leadership stat, which means that it's actually less likely to fail than it is to succeed on them.
