- A sweet older lady contacted me and needed someone to come clean up her property. She had hired a couple different companies but people were not showing up. Apparently her neighbors were complaining so she was in desperation mode for sure. We do what we do and cleaned it up for her. I will say that this is probably the ugliest lawn I've ever cleaned up. Not a very good looking lawn and it still needs a lot of help. Hope you enjoy another satisfying lawn care video.

Shame that the neighbors can complain about an elderly person's lawn, however they can't reach out and lend a helping hand. 😞 They would have wanted that had it been their parent in that position. Thank you for helping and giving them a lawn they can be proud of! ❤️

My husband always did that for our neighbors...even the ones who worked all the time and didn't have the time...it's called being a good neighbor..
There's something so satisfying about seeing crisp, fresh edges on a lawn. Great job!
Man you have a big heart. I tend to do alot of free stuff for my elderly customers. I have a soft spot for our elderly and young children. Mess with them and it's on. You keep doing what you do. It will come back to you two fold. You are a good man.

Just ran into your page while browsing. I have to tell you what great yard work you do!!!! Aldo, thr fact that you help people and the community out for free, give people a hand, makes you a great person! So many people are alone, elderly, fisabled or work 3 jobs just to pay the bills, its guys like you who give them a helping hand that make all the difference in the world. Believe me as a disabled woman i know. God Bless
for those who don't understand how an elderly person can let their yard go i pray you don't end up in one of those nursing homes we here about in ny when you get older, wouldn't that be ashame. Awesome job on the property!

I'd guess because most of America is living paycheck-to-paycheck and can't afford to take on the responsibility of upkeeping the other yards in the neighborhood...
cant afford a couple gallons of gas and some sweat no most americans today are self absorbed and lazy would rather complain than take action

Even if she's married, why would an elderly person move into such a huge house? If she/they can afford that, a sodded lawn should have been put in. If this is in Brian's area, I hope she hires him to 'fix' the lawn.

55 years ago when I was a teen, I would have loved to have one of these trimmers. I used to edge sidewalks on my hands and knees using hand clippers.
I bet. That was real hard work
So did my mom for 45 years. She started with a push mower in the 1950's.

I saw you do something that I remembered my Mother showed us how to do when we did have a weed eater and that was to mow as close as you could and pull rest with hand! Those were the good old days. Its called going that extra mile!! Keep being a blessing to someone else and God will keep blessing you!
This was back in May 2021. Little did you know, that this may have been the "ugliest lawn I've ever cleaned up," would NOT be the ugliest, because I've seen you spend a WEEK on one property for an elderly couple! You sir, have been a real blessing to sooo many people.

Its not the neighbors job. I would think moving into a new hood you’d get your lazy butt out there and clean up.

If I were that homeowner I’d be complaining to the builder. Atrocious concrete work and that sewer access in the middle of the yard looks terrible. Overall feel bad for the person and good for you helping them out!
The older woman has to deal with asshole neighbors AND she lives next to a house under construction… I wish ppl would think about that before they get older that what you used to be able to do you can’t anymore for whatever reason. bless this lady. I really appreciate the work you do and the videos you make. I have a full time job, but mow yards on the side. It’s a hobby I happen to make money from. I recently bought a new mower and equipment and was wondering, do you have insurance on your equipment and mowers? In case of a car accident or theft and if so how did you obtain it? Well done again. This looks like a new subdivision of homes. It is puzzling why owners neglect their yard in this manner. Perhaps it was a long winter rain or they don't own a mower. Nice of you to help but I hope it inspires owners & neighbors to get moving on yard care. Always, you did a great job.

Was watching a lawn care vid in australia, and a guy strapped something to his shoe that looked like a small shovel, so that when he came across a clump while edging, he could kick/cut it out of his way. Never saw anything like it here in USA, but bet you could MAKE one. It seemed to really help while edging those tall edges!

Good job brian you are a good hearted soul my man. This week killed us with rain. I have mowed till 8 30 been walking in about 10 00 I just have saturday lawns to do calling for rain about 2 so should be done I hope. I don't know if you have ever dealt with thick juicy wet blue grass but it is no fun. Talking rain again tommorrow sunday and monday all day and tue morning. It's killing us

Out of all the yard people I watch on UA-cam I've always wondered why you guys start first with edging THEN mow. Is it mulch or bag all of the clippings at the same time?
It's mainly so when you have all the edging left over you can mow over it back into the lawn

A friend of mine.. Her neighbor mows her front and back yards as he does his....
She broke her ankle.. And after cast was off still couldnt stand long.
He has a riding mower.... Mows about 8 front yards....Funny to see him go from yard to yard.
No weed whacking... Only his yard and driveway...
Takes him about an hour or so...
Nice thing is... Is that they all take turns every month mowing each others front yards....great neighbors!
