Erling Haaland, Kylian Mbappe and Victor Osimhen are already great goalscorers with most of their careers ahead of them. But away from the limelight, there are a few strikers that are, slowly, making a name for themselves.
Seb Stafford-Bloor gives us the low-down on the next generation of elite goalscorers. Illustrated by Craig Silcock.

I'm loving this resurgence of vast striking talents. The last couple of years made it seem like there weren't too many of them
Kudos to Terem Moffi for scoring 18 goals in La Liga while playing in Ligue 1, truly remarkable achievement
even messi can't do that
truly one of the player of all time
They said Ligue un.
But on the screen the words were la liga, so the graphics didnt match the voiceover@@Omar_Little
Tel is amazing. His movement and shooting is great, he could easily start at most mid level teams
fr _😮💨_
The kid is special! I really hope he gets enough minutes over the next 3 Kane seasons. He already made the winning difference off the bench vs Gladbach. Seems like a good kid too, who is emboldened by the competition and wants to fight for his spot rather than being loaned
Does he tend to play centrally or wide more? 0.19 goals per shot at an average distance of 17 yards is really good for a youngster, even if his play time has been limited. He'll have to keep that going when he gets more minutes in the Bundesliga.
@@RL- He can play left wing and the classic striker role, but at Bayern Munich he almost only gets used as a striker backup for Harry Kane since the start of the season.
@@frederik1627 makes sense thanks. I imagine Bayern are still stacked somewhat out wide.
FM Players know Marcus Leonardo
I think I failed him in my save.. got Exicted with Endrick and Emre Tezgel
To be fair most of these players I know from fm
Yes.
FM is not real life.
@@Smellybridge99 I bet you play fifa all day
It looks like Nigeria 🇳🇬 are starting to produce more talents. Great to see 🔥
We just need to produce some midfielders. Then, we may be in business.
@@olaleyeonikuyide7541nigeria got everything including midfielders bro, scouts just need to start coming here more. for some you need to pay a sum of money to be a youth player in Nigeria even if you are good enough, corruption has really crippled this country
Starting😂? Bro we've been producing elite prospects for decades. Sadly, the government would rather embezzle public funds than invest in these rising stars or the future of football. The women have no gym in their camp, it's so bad some of them have to share beds, some have not been paid for months now. Incredible football talents are all over Nigeria but no opportunity, only a fraction of a fraction are recognized and that's no thanks to our government.
@@anthonyy616Pengeria Pen Merchants?
@@anthonyy616midfielders need a strong league, as it allows more time to build and show their skills
Most national teams begvfor one quality striker, Nigeria has an army of them soon: Osimen, Aiwoniyi, Boniface, Orban along with attackers like Chukuweze, Lookmen, Iheanacho, Moses Simon
Too bad their defenders are mostly unknowns
Poor goalkeepers and defenders. If not Nigeria will be elite.
Orban is gonna be top player in 2/3 years
Excluding Moses Simon... plus they are cursed with Defenders and GKs... but their attacking line looks very promising..
I think they had a GK that stop United in a match
@@Samuel-cr9mc Only good game in his career 😂😭
Don't forget the coaching and all the other strikers that don't represent Nigeria, if only the FA wasn't corrupt.....
Please dont sleep on Benjamin Sesko this guy is a super star in the making, Moukoko is also a good shout too as well as Vitor Roque
sesko always sign him on my career
He’s the best of the lot, better than everyone in this video imo
@@samkar2212 Same, he's the new club record goalscorer in my FM22 Arsenal save, lining up alongside Lucca and Haaland
Balkan players often slept on but often make a difference. Mourinho knows.
"These always age well." A wise man once said
I'm not familiar with a lot of them, but I've seen Evan Ferguson in action.
It's crazy how an 18-year-old is that calm and collective on the ball. He banged in a hat trick against Newcastle last week.
And he is Irish too who are rare to produce great prospect and if there are any they would be absorbed to england squad anyway
Boniface will absolutely tear up the Bundesliga this season. Mark my words. He has everything and the right players around him.
I watched Orban in a match against Polish club Pogoń Szczecin in Europa Conference League. He easily scored a hat-trick. I know that, unfortunatelly, it wasn't a big challenge (it ended 6-2 for Gent on aggregate), but he's gifted, that's for sure.
nice pun
Wink wink
We need more videos like this!
This is old school tifo!
I think you missed a prolific young striker signed by Barcelona from brazil in the summer who is amazing 😁
Sesko terrorises me in every FM save 😂😂😂
Mathys tel is interesting profile.seems like a mini henry. Not as explosive as Henry but has a bullet shot power and a very intelligent operator in possession
I don't agree. Tel seems to be insanely fast. That's also why Tuchel is open to using him as a winger.
@@Allschmoi did I anywhere mention tel is slow?Henry at prime was even quicker than mbappe that's what I've mentioned. I've been watching tel for 2 years now Rennes u17 euros bayern.... so I think i know stuff abt him.Btw who asked u to agree on my statement
@@karti670 The comment section is for discussion. If you get offended by a comment like this it easily shows how unmature you are. Have a nice day though, you football expert! :)
Its great that Italy has finally a
credible and that too a devastating striker in mateo. Italy already has a brilliant defence and mid, only thing that was lacking was a good striker. Hopefully Luciano spalleti will able to exploit his talent.
These videos are always interesting to look back on years later. It's usually just one or two that became a top player. Sometimes none.
yep thats why it doesnt even excite me anymore
@@martinkfits a rough business
You can't really say though
You can't really say though
Watching Tel this season, you can tell he took a step forward. I think he'll be getting regular substitutions this season. He won't replace Kane, but he could become an integral part of Bayern's squad.
After a very underwhelming performance in the supercup against Leipzig he scored against Bremen as a substitute and even scored the winning goal in Bayern's most recent fixture against Gladbach. Having a proven worldclass striker with tons of experience in Harry Kane might also benefit his development as he could defenitely teach Tel a thing or two.
Tuchel also said that he is open to using him as a winger and since Manes departure he should probably be the 4th option behind Sane, Gnabry and Coman and therfore start quiet a few games considering the amount Bayern usually have to play.
Besides his talent, he has the most important thing a footballer can have - a great mentality. He is willing to learn, willing to give everything for his development and always listens to coaches and teammates.
However his career goes, he will most certainly not waste his talent and find his way.
@@josh8962apart from finishing, he had a good game. His finishing will improve as he gets older and gains composure.
Based on Tifo's old vids this could either be Brighton's transfer targets or Liverpool's whole plan when their attackers get injured.
I think there will be plenty of great goalscorers in the future who have better longevity as well thanks to advancements in medicine, training etc
I'd love to see you be correct but its hard to see this while everybody is going down with injuries already this season
I can argue Sesko is eclipse everyone in this video. He’s so technically sound and physically is at a different level to anyone his age
James milner might be another prospect to watch out for❤

Would love a list of the Future Playmakers/Defenders/Keepers/etc.
Little correction: Mateo Retegui club in Argentina its called "Tigre" without the S. Its not like the mexican club Tigres.
Can you do the same kind of video for goalkeepers/defenders/midfielders please? Will bookmark this and look in a few years!
5:28 today I learned that Nice and Lorient play in Spain's La Liga. Cheers! 👌
As a Geordie living in Ghent, it's been a *gift* to watch Orban play here when i go watch the local team KAA Gent. I hope Newcastle pick him up, he would do absolute bits there.
Amazing video!
5:34 Just a nitpick, but it should be Ligue 1 not La Liga. Great video as always!
Alejo Veliz and Nicolas Jackson will too be future world class strikers.
Nigeria is spoilt in the strikers position, 4 of them were mentioned in this video🇳🇬🔥🔥
Victor Oshimen = Napoli
Terem Moffi = Nice
Taiwo Awoniyi = Nottingham Forest
Gift Orban = Gent
Victor Boniface = Leverkusen
You were so right about mathys tel, that boy is already doing wonders. Scored 2 Goals in 2 Matches in the champions league coming off the bench
I love Tifo giving me great research for FM24.
vitor roque is a great shout that should be considered
Love these videos! Wish adult life would allow me to enjoy playing FM and buy these players 😂
Good Analysis
Boniface is astonishing. It sometimes seems men vs boys when I saw highlights of Leverkusen.
Can you pls do about the peretz transfer ?
Nigeria has so many amazing Forward talents.. Osimhen,Gift,Boniface,Moffi,Iheanacho even Balogun is a Nigerian playing for USMNT.
If only we had the midfielders to create for them.
Balogun’s second option was England u sound slow Nigeria didn’t develop him england did
@@dwaynekeenum1916 Balogun is Nigerian by origin. It isnt about who "developed" who. Its about origin. you sound dumb.
@@nadaduo1765 you honestly dont believe the nationality of origin doesnt matter. He literally has a Nigerian name and Surname.
@@Goonermenuif thats the case then messi isnt Argentine. Zidane, benzema, mbappe, moulani, dembele are all not french either. Why arent they representing algeria, camaroon and whatever country dembele family originated from?
Jock Tamsin'. Arbroath FC.
One to watch.
Santi Gimenez should be here
Small correction: Retegui's team is "Tigre" (singular), "Tigres" (plural) is the Mexican club, Tigres UANL
I came here to say the same thing
That Nigerian world cup squad in 2026 is gonna be one to watch
Having the reccommended video being "where are all the goal scorers" is hilarious lol
Maybe Vitor Roque too
Tel is having game time in this season so far and already scored a couple of goals. Bayern was pretty clear that he was staying, in 2or3 seasons he will be world class
Putting Retegui and Batistuta in the same sentence, let alone comparing them, is a crime against humanity
Boniface is sooo good right now. I wonder what happens if he keeps that form.
Thanks i will use this list of forwards for my EA FC 24 career mode
ITS A CRIME YOU DIDN'T INCLUDE VITOR ROQUE IN THIS LIST 🙄
So many attacking talents from Nigeria 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬💪💪💪
Marcos Leonardo will be a new Roma player in January, Santos didn't want him to leave because they didn't have an attacker except Marcos, while him continued to say that he wants Roma and he did even miss trainings! Now Santos have an attacker and Pinto said that he still wants Marcos, same thing for him, hope he do good at Roma, we had a ton of wasted talents like bojan kirkic (I don't remember his last name)
I love your vids and watch practically every one - but the line breaks in your quotes are offensive 😂😂
marcos leonardo is also a beast in FM
hojlund is also a good shout.
The fact that they didn’t mention Santiago Gimenez 😂
I would like it if you would list the players in the video discription.
That thumbnail is class.
Bruh why my wonderkids strikers shortlist are in this video???
Orban's story is insane
Mateo Roggi, what a player
😂😂😂Jack Lang's profiling of Reutegi is quite hilarious to say
on Terem Moffis' graphic it said la liga goals, he plays in ligue 1
Kane will only be at Bayern 3 years max, which could be a great opportunity for Tel to develop without pressure and be ready to step up.
What about Santiago Giménez ?
Really looking forward for boniface
Veliz who recently moved to Spurs looks fantastic as well
No .
Nestory Irankunda will be a superstar... guy has a weapon for a shot for at 17 years old. He's already lined up to go Bayern when he turns 18.
You guys are missing Henrique Araújo who's on loan from Benfica at Famalicão. Great instinct
Maybe I haven't seen Tel in the right games, but I don't think he was unlucky, he wasn't scoring the goals he should have and was always going to be pushed down the pecking order for a new striker.
I don't think he's a natural goalscorer, as he doesn't seem to have the natural shot selection and poise, that you would see from an actual out and out striker. He obviously scores a fair amount, but this also comes down to playing in the bundesliga and playing for Bayern.
I do think he will be an incredible talent, but can see him being pushed back to an attacking mid or just a midfielder.
You forgot Santiago Gimenez.
SANTIII 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽
The new gen reminds me of the old school goal scorers physicall and run behind
They have bright futures!
Retegui is 24... Not sure he falls in next top goalscorer category
Honestly yeah, at this point they’d be better suited to mention strikers like Santiago Gimenez or Ricardo Pepi in the Eredevisie as both are strikers with prospective higher ceilings than someone who’s already 24.
Just wanted to point out that Retegui made his debut with Italy because there were literally no other centre forwards available due to injury.
Cameron Archer will be on this list soon
Osimhen-Gift-Awoniyi-Boniface-Moffi.

Surprised Elye Wahi didn't make your list. 20yo and scored 19 goals last year in Ligue 1 (scoring more than Moffi while being 4 years younger).
but what about Ibrahim Sangaré?
Nice
Nigeria today is like 2010's Argentina before Tevez/Aguero/Higuain had retired from the team with all these strikers to fit around Osimhen and a lack of adequate depth below on the pitch.
Where is Vitor Roque guy is balling in Brazil
do one for creative players and wingers

what's with the framerate on those wipes? lol
Where's Vitor Roque?
you have forgotten to mention vitor roque.
Where is Palmeiras’ Endrick?
Vitor Roque - Barca have signed the 18 year old prodigy for €30M + €30M (variables).
He's the top U-20 goalscorer in the world for the year of 2023 & The 2nd highest Goalscorer in the Brazilian top league for this season.
Vitor was the youngest debutant for Brazil since R9 and younger than even Neymar, Ronaldinho, Kaka or Vinicius.
Vitor Roque led his upper middle table team to the Copa Libertadores Final (South American equivalent of Champions League) last season as a 17 year old scoring and giving crucial performances in the knockouts.
Watch out for him!
Have watched some clips of him and I can say he's physical and fast. That's besides the fact that his dribbling is also a promising feature. From what I've seen, his best attribute is his finishing. He can score from most areas and his play style is similar to Memphis Depay. Both Victor and Endrick have potential to be top strikers and perhaps even the best.
