As an Indian, after purchasing this vehicle. I am pretty much satisfied. It comes less than a price of fortuner. Moreover after getting to know that 70℅ of the vehicle parts are made in india. I feel it is a right choice. I dont hate chinease products untill our people earning out of it. ❤

@@Defender_928 bro 480 in normal conditions and if drive fast and rev it harder it will slow down to almost 380-420. But it is really fun to drive. And it was worth 55 lakhs including everything in delhi.

Not all BYD cars are inspired by sea creatures, they have Ocean series and these cars are part of that series.
If you think this is premium than you're not ready for what BYD has to offer under their actual premium brands, ocean series along with Dynasty series are actually mass market brands, they've three more brands above them i.e Denza , Fangchangbao and Yangwang (they produce monsters under this name).
If you want to see a car which really defines BYD than search for Denza Z-9 GT, it's a perfect combination of beauty & performance.

Generally, Chinese auto companies aren't allowed in India. One must build the car with a minimum of 70% localisation from the start just like MG Motors India Ltd. The BYD MPV is mostly used as a taxicab in India the BYD seal and Otto are for the General public. As rightly mentioned in this video. BYD Seal 🦭 is a Tesla killer. Tesla will also launch their products in early 2025. Tesla's manufacturing plant is getting ready to manufacture Tesla models in India 🇮🇳. Let us see how everything pans out between Tesla and BYD. The point is it's a dead end for Toyota not innovating and adopting BYD technology goes to show Toyota how far back Toyota has fallen that it is dependent on BYD unlike changan, chery, SAIC, Geely and other Chinese who have their own platforms and incredible software.

EV charging network is the key to success for the EV vehicles in Pakistan, because the range anxiety is the number 1 factor for the people for not buying EVs and the price. Brands like BYD must focus on building a charging network across the country first and then introduce price competitive vehicles.

I have the BYD SEAL 3.8S Performance in Sydney, Australia it is an amazing car better than any German, Japanese and any other western branded car. I have had a BENTLY for 3 years and the BYD is BETTER QUALITY.
As a student of economics and a concerned citizen of Pakistan, I must express my reservations regarding the launch of BYD in our country. While I acknowledge the potential benefits of introducing advanced electric vehicles, I am worried that this move might further reinforce Pakistan’s position as a trading economy rather than a producing one.
The reliance on imported products, particularly high-cost items like BYD cars from China, poses several risks. The purchase of these vehicles will require a significant outflow of dollars, which could put additional pressure on our already fragile currency and lead to further depreciation of the Pakistani rupee.
Furthermore, the limited job creation associated with this venture, such as the employment of a few hundred individuals in BYD warehouses, does little to address the broader economic challenges we face. If, instead, we focused on developing local manufacturing capabilities for such technological products, it would not only stimulate economic growth but also create numerous jobs, provide a boost to local industries, and reduce our dependence on imports.
I believe that a stronger emphasis on building our own technological and industrial base is crucial for sustainable economic development. By fostering innovation and supporting local production, we can create a more resilient economy that benefits all Pakistanis.

As an Economics student consider my comment as BYD will build these cars in Pakistan in near future and there will be issue of dollars and as a national emoplement will be generated if it becime very succefull we will get rid of import of such massive oil.
I have purchased Hubco shares as with collebration of Mega motor under hubco they will start manufacturing..

More competition in market is better for consumer BYD price is very competitive and will effect all others brand its one of the best Chinese brand and quality is very good as compare to all others Chineses cars. Toyota will be using BYD battery in their PHEV and HEV what more you need to decide about quality of their brand

The rear end looks like the Dodge Dart SRT and the front end looks like the new Tesla Model 3, car culture is building it's tombstone atp because all the new cars are either getting reduced in specs or they just copy the old ones (For reference the new Lamborgini Temerario looks like a Ferrai SF90 and the engines are getting smaller on all the cars)

Ex Factory Prices and On Road Prices of almost all new cars are not updated on Pakwheels' forum.
One thing he didn't mention is the road clearance. Seal has a road clearance of 120mm, whereas civic clearance is 154mm. Either the BYD has to increase its road clearance. Otherwise, every time one drives over a speed breaker, which comes in every size in our country, open your imaginations. Didn't mention the potholes!
