Loved your theater story. My husband had a similar experience working in an art museum. A couple approached and asked him where the gift shop was. They were Asian, and he recognized they were speaking to each other in Japanese, so he gave them directions in Japanese. They were floored and so pleased! My husband was a bit surprised himself that he remembered enough Japanese, having lived on an army base there as a very young child.

Such breath and voice control... No one could hold that note even when he dropped on his knees. Most people's voice would break on impact. Dimash? Not a chance. He's amazing and is not all about talent, he has worked so hard to reach where he is and the heights he can still reach as time goes by... I can't wait to see what else he can pull off, especially with a magestic composer like Igor Krutoy by his side.
Did you know that when he was young, Dimash was envious of Lara Fabian for being able to get Igor's compositions? He always complained saying: "Why Lara and not me?!"
A couple of songs that you would probably enjoy are Adai + Daididau (Bastau concert), Samaltau (Tokyo Jazz Festival 2020) and Durdaraz (Dimash Digital Show 2021).

Wow 😳! Your story about meeting the couple or family from Kazakhstan is so cool. I’ve been smiling from ear to ear hearing your story and I’m so proud of you mentioning his Dimash to them. It reminded me of when I was waiting out side to enter Barkley Center at Dimash’s NYC. I too met a couple in line that where also from Kazakhstan. I was flabbergasted! They were also there on vacation to see Dimash as well. I even asked her to take a picture with me. She was so kind and proud as well of Dimash. It was just so exciting! I’ll never forget that night . Dimash is the best as far as I’m concerned. 😊

- Dimash Kudaibergen was born in Aktobe, Kazakhstan, on May 24, 1994. It is now 191 cm tall.
- Dimash has an excellent education: he graduated from the College of Music with a degree in Opera Singing, university of arts in the specialty "Estrada and jazz vocals", and on June 18, 2020, he completed a master's degree in Composition. Since September 1, 2020, Dimash is studying at the Kazakh National University of Arts in doctoral studies (PHD) with a degree in Musicology.
- Sings in genres: pop, rock, classics, crossover (neo-classics), folklore, rap, jazz.
- Singer, composer (wrote music for 11 songs), multi-instrumentalist (dombra, piano, percussion, guitar).
- Has a range of six octaves and one note. Notes - A1 (Love Like a Dream), from C2 to D8 (Unforgettable Day). From baritone to soprano.
- Dimash is Kazakh by nationality, speaks and thinks in Kazakh. He speaks Russian fluent language. He is currently studying English.
- The first performance as a singer is 2010.

- Sings songs in 10 languages of the world (Kazakh, Chinese, Russian, English, French, Italian, Ukrainian, Turkish, Serbian, Spanish).

On August 19, 2021, for the first time the sound of kobyz was heard on the stage of the New Wave Hall in Sochi Olympic Park.
The tandem of Igor Krutoy (piano) and Dimash Qudaibergen (voice) with the best Kobys player in the world Olzhas Qurmanbek, have presented a new, really unique song in English with enchanting oriental melodies.
The idea to add kobyz to the new song came to Dimash after he first heard the melody "Stranger". He decided that the folk instrument would fit perfectly into the song, giving it an exciting sound. The performer of the kobyz part is Olzhas Kurmanbek.
The music was created by Russian song-writer Igor Krutoy (musictitan, billionaire), and the lyrics were written by Mary Sharon Vaughn (*1947, is an American musician, songwriter and producer. She writes hits for famous singers around the world) The main arrangement was made by Dimitris Kontopoulos (Greece) and Yerlan Bekchurin (Kazakhstan).
