Actually, it was 23-25 seconds! Don't try to understand what Dimash does, just go with the flow! And yes....best performer/singer I have ever experienced in my 69 years on this planet! He is a uniter, not a divider...the world needs more of this!

23 sec Dimash has a set of lungs and swims when he can. He works hard. But it’s a joy for him. His music instincts are innately genius. And his environment was fertile ground for a young legend. We are blessed to witness such miraculous greatness. There are many excellent and talented singers....but for overall abundance and combination of qualities...Dimash is that most beautiful occurrence. And manages to remain honest and humble I wish him a long and happy life in love and song. And for us too.
I would describe him as a once in a Millenium talent.

Hi Tre....I think you will notice that whatever Dimash sings it is with passion. You are so right in saying that thank goodness we are here to witness this wonderfully talented young man. I am 73 and I have been a Dear since 2017 when I discovered Dimash, I listen to him everyday and can't get enough even though I have heard his songs over and over. He is so charismatic and has such great stage presents. He is a powerhouse on the stage but, is such a loving and humble man and cares about everyone. He calls his fans...Dears because, we are all so close to his Heart. Maybe eventually you can watch some of his interviews w/ english subs. He is just so amazing. You might want to react to Screaming, Idol Hits to see another side of what Dimash can do..all Genres of music. He is also a trained Opera singer. Started his singing when he was 5 years old along w/ the piano. I will be here and I can't wait for more from you for Dimash. Liked and Subscribed. Enjoy the ride!!

This is the festival "New Wave" in Sochi (Russia) in 2018. There was a competition of young performers and concerts of Russian artists. Dimash acted as a guest at the jubilee concert of the Kazakh group "A-studio".

It was a phenomenal performance! Superb low notes at the beginning, unreal high notes at the end. And again the oriental tones in the song!

Dimash used the incorporation of traditional Kazak music singing called “Joqtaw”, is a funeral lament, paying homage to the dead vocalist of the A’Studio Band, creators of this song. You can hear it from the Turan group. Saha people ( Russia) uses this technique too.

That last run was nearly 24 seconds, Dimash swims lengths underwater so his lungs are very well developed and he was only 24 here 😁. Might I suggest you look at Daybreak from his 2017 Bastau concert next, it's a heartbreaking story about a young boy who watched his parents plunge to their deaths just as they lifted him to safety from the falling cable car they were all in. The song was written by a lady called Han Hong who later adopted the orphaned boy. She and Dimash have since become great friends and I am sure she was moved by his incredible performance of her work. Here is the link to Dimash's version of Daybreak, please, please react to it, its magnificent and his voice masterful and beautifully tender. This was also the very first song he sang in Chinese Mandarin when he was in a Chinese singing show, he only had a week to learn it and at the time he had bad tonsillitis and no voice. Unfortunately for me, I’d heard of him the year B4 and was going to take a listen... then fell off and for some strange reason later confused him as being a group member of BTS. 😂. Anyhow, I listened to him in the same order as you and am still a BLOWN AWAY Dear fan. I honestly believe he’s the best vocal artist of our time. I noted just now that you sing and dance. I think you’ll see him as I do and as you discover more of his performances; Dimash isn’t a singer like so many others out there. He is truly a VOCAL ARTIST and what’s the coolest is Dimash walks his own path - like no other - in his array of chosen songs. The 3rd song I listened to was Opera II - performed in that same China contest as SOS ... Dimash morphs to yet another style and character in this one - It’s a fun one. Also - take a listen to OGNI PIETRA - (sung in Italian) his vocal power is INCREDIBLE and once again- he morphs into another very commanding character. At the Bastau concert, Dimash sang TGE DIVA DANCE powerfully as well and I cannot believe he could sing that mid concert.
His debut videos of KNOW and LOVE OF TIRED SWANS.... 💯 percent unique vocal ARTIST... like no other out there anywhere! GORGEOUS artistic displays. I love how unique he is... and this is coming from a Led Zep fan. 😁

23+ seconds. I'm so glad to be alive to enjoy Dimash as well. I think he's a once in human history, let alone a century. I felt exactly the same and I had to actually watch him sing at first, because I kept thinking someone else was singing alongside, when he was actually solo. Utterly unique gifted and beautiful man. His character is as phenomenal as his voice. You're on a landslide you can't get off.

I am sure that you want to see him improvise in a matured way over a highly chromatic theme, watch two versions of the same song called "Know". The first version with lyrics is from the New Wave event 2019, one year after this one. In the second version also called Vocalise or Ascolta La Voce, he starts improvising right away. In both versions the improvisation consists of a kind of jazzy scat mixed with central asian ornaments and rocky power. It's awesome. Watch both versions in direct succession, maybe even in the same reaction video.

Written by the biggest music mogul of Russia, Igor Krutoy, who came out of retirement when he heard Dimash so he could write songs just for him? Please listen to Ogni Pietra, the version you will find on Igor Krutoy’s UA-cam channel.
Also for this song you just listened to, I suggest you go listen for yourself to the Moscow version; if you use the shorter video, the camera is on Dimash the whole time, and you can see him doing those guttural sounds where you were asking; is that him doing that?
