    Have you ever heard the old saying “Jack of all trades, master to none”? Well, if not, let me tell you what that means. That means you can do all sorts of things, but you aren’t real good at it. WELL, you ARE a “Jack of all trades”, BUT YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE DOING!!! You ALWAYS do such great work and Ashley is right there to help you when she is needed . Together you two are an awesome team. Watching you do all you do makes me wonder, is there nothing you can’t do? Keep up the EXCELLENT WORK. This was another great video. Thanks for sharing it with us. God loves you and your family. God bless you all.

    My husband is ill & I’m his caregiver. There’s a lot to do around here, & I often feel stuck & a bit overwhelmed. I’m not doing anything as difficult or complicated as you - just taking care of the house & yard. But your videos inspire me & help me move forward with another project. Thanks for sharing. Your videos are better than anything on TV; no loud background music, no violence, no cursing - just a quiet, peaceful atmosphere as you work. (We live “out in the country,” too, & we love it!) God bless you all.

      ABC XYZ Certain criteria need to be met to qualify for help & we’re not there yet - & I thank God for that because it means he’s still doing okay. We have hired someone to do the mowing. I enjoy mowing, but having someone else do it saves me several hours a week. We have good neighbors, too, & friends that occasionally make the drive out to the country, but with the pandemic some are afraid of possibly exposing my husband to the virus. I’m learning that I don’t have to get it all done all the time & that I need to prioritize. I’m adapting.

    OMG! I am in love with your barn. Ample outlets, ample lighting, and it all looks so clean and professional. I am so excited you have made these changes. When you said you have an outlet for the compressor and battery charger I realized how difficult it was before having to charge them in your utility room/pantry. Small things we didn't even consider.

      Doug, another great video! I’ve been thinking. How about a tutorial?! I’m sure many other subbies would like to know how to do what you do! I would I know that! I don’t know how time consuming that would be but you can determine that. Maybe something small and easy ( you make everything look easy though ) that you can walk us through step by step. I’m really just trying to keep you and the family with us as long as possible! Lol Teach us how to build a shelf or something. I’m sure if you ask you’d get a lot of feedback as to what we’d like to learn how to do. Any way young Maverick is a doll! Someone said that’s what you get when you don’t talk baby talk to a growing child. I believe that with my whole heart and I never did with my own children. That’s enough from me (for now). “See” you next video!💕

    I was almost shocked when you started off the pipe bender and laid in trunking. I have seen far sketcher work in industrial installations. You will soon have that barn looking first-rate, but more importantly highly rated for the safety of you and the family. Watching you work I have often been struck by the methodical and hard-working way you have applied yourself to the tasks. I wondered if you have ever been a lecturer in a training establishment. Your son is certainly coming on in leaps and bounds, his goodbye was a charming and beautiful touch to end the video. You have two great children and must be proud of how they are doing.

    • @timwilson3150
      @timwilson3150 4 роки тому +1

      Actually using romex in that situation is a code violation. Another alternative would have been to use mc cable. Also, all outlets are required to be gfci protected which they may be because Doug did mention a gfci. It should be upstream of all other outlets thereby protecting all downstream outlets. Doug didn’t show that but I’m sure that’s what he did. I’m a 20 year journeyman electrician. Nice job Doug!

    The look on your face when the light didn't go on! Priceless! I thought I was a work a haulic till I saw you. I am currently replacing the timing chains and guides on our 04 Nissan Quest and working on our popup camper. It needs just a bit of TLC too. Any time you buy used, be it a mobile home and barn, or a vehicle or camper, its going to need love. You have the get up and go most kids today lack. Great job to both you and Ashley!
