Several years ago, when Wildfrost was a free-to-play game on Kongregate, there was a hidden ending involving the Naked Gnome and the Goblings that stole his clothes. To get them back you had to keep them alive and on the field until the fight was completely over. A full-powered gnome could then challenge the Frost Jailor without having the Lumen Vase. I don't know if the ending still exists in the current version of the game since I have yet to get it, but even if it isn't, it might prove a worthwhile challenge for you to try.
