You know what. No. Your fans do not deserve you. You are absolutely amazing. You apologize for something when you didn't know it existed, you add a trigger warning for those with tryphobia, AND YOU MAKE COOL STUFF WHILE ALSO BEING FUNNY, ENTERTAINING AND STILL NICE. YOU ARE LITERALLY SO AWESOME, I HOPE YOU HAVE AN AMAZING LIFE.
I saw the honey comb thing and immediately thought "Throw some LED's behind it and make a cool lamp"
I was kind of hoping for a lamp as well.
Same here!
Saaame
Same same but different 😂
I thought so too!!!
I bet you will be finding Orbeez in your shop for years... lol
My little sister brock a bottle of orbeez a month ago and we still find some here and there
“Look away now” after showing it for 2 1/2 minuets straight😂 you sir, are funny and entertaining to watch!
You should make coloured resin blocks, then smash them into chunks, then put them in clear resin, then turn it into something funky.
imperial Customs I had made a similar suggestion. I said to make some colored resin gummy bears and then put them into clear resin. I think it’d make a really funky little lamp. All those colorful, gem-like bears.
YESSSS!!! SMASH BLOCKS!!!! Sounds awesome!!
Like little shards of color 😍
Like amethyst crystals!!!
I like this idea a lot.
It would be cool if you sliced the whole blank like bread, removed all the orbees, and cast each slice in a different color resin. Stack them back up and bond them back together into one blank again and turned it.
Put different colored resin in the holes and stack them back together.
Would probably make a gorgeous light feature. All of the holes and colours. Would look good with different colours, or one colour but different shades.
Yes that would be awesome
Oooooooo that would be so cool
In rainbow order would look amazing
Nick: I’m gonna try _______ with resin!
Audience: Cool, what do you plan to do with that?
Nick: Bold of you to assume I have a plan.
I appreciate that he does follow through and finds something positive about each weird experiment he makes. It’s a reminder that effort deserves payoff, even if it’s not the thing we expected we’d make. [ /sentimentality ]
LOL!
*+NeauxWai* Totally agree!
Read that in his voice. lol
~~~e~~#~&~ss~#~~eEs&&dD
Ha!😂😂😂
"I apologise for the people who doesn't like the holes..."
* while intensively showing it to the camera *
its a video about it so he kinda has to also their is a trypophobia warning in the title so yeah
LMAO
@@willaschoknecht3846 i didnt know it was a real thing. i thought my son was kidding. then again i know a young man with a phobia of strawberries and butterflies, so...yeah.
At least it wasn't paintballs... Oozing holes.
@@duanebendt there's actually a phobia for a lot of things. Oh brains are really really weird. There's phobia for balloons, clowns, water and more. I'd definitely look into them if i wear you! ^^
Awesome project! If you make another one of those, you should pour transparent light blue resin in. It would give depth to the honeycomb and make it look like a coral grown in some ancient shipwrecked compass.. 😀
Excellent idea!!! Hopefully he sees this and takes action.
and an LED below~
This is actually the best idea I’ve heard, I hope nick see’s it. Maybe if we can get your comment enough attraction he’ll do that!
I was thinking the same thing!!!
Sasa Kurtovic 1qqqqqqö
Ooooh! Cast a few house/car keys in colored resin. Then cast those into clear resin. Then make something sizeable, like a bowl or vase. Then it would be the.... wait for it.... FUN KEY BOWL.
Fun key bowl 😂😂😂
Lol
Funky key bowl
😂😂😂👍🏻
Lol
My daughter is in love with this! She has made me watch it over and over and over again. If i had the money i would buy the darn thing!!!!! Great work on it!!! 😁
Awww...bless her heart!!
I love it too! She has super fun taste! ✨🦄✨
When that zebra wood is made that glossy, it sorta looks like tiger eye stone 😍
😍
I would call it a monochrome picture stone look. That's the thought that hit me first. Tigereye is also very appropriate, although quarter sawn wood shows that effect better.
Love the way your apologising for the phobia but putting the project right up to the camera. Your hilarious!
Brilliant project Nick!
@AsHLiegH-MaRie HoPe I'm SURE the title of this has been changed! It didn't say that 2 months ago.
Thought the same thing ~ LOL
Well if you watched the las video then you know not to watch this one, just saying
@@mariesimo2562 well considering this was 3 months ago and he's literally got loads of videos on here. Could you please specify which 'last video' your talking about?
Just sayin 🤔✌️
The thumbnail is a warning for itself, people are just whimsical brats
I’d’ve thought lamp or candle holder would be the most obvious one, all those pretty hollow shapes flickering with light n shadow...
Nick I don’t think you need to be worried about the length of your videos, I have literally been watching you for 5 hours straight...your amazing 🤩 keep it up!!
Your never boring man, you have to be one of the most entertaining and skilled people I watch on UA-cam, keep up the great work..!!
Screw it, sometimes you gotta face your fears for the sake of Nick's art!
it is amazing art isn't it?
Absolutely turns my stomach but I want to know. Especially given the reason I have trypophobia was due to finding a Surinam toad as a kid. The frogspawn sinks into holes in the skin on their backs so this is about as close as it gets for me. Revolting creatures.
Very true
Agreed. I don't want to look but I want to know what it looks like at the end.
What an idiotic “fear.”
This came out so interestingly! that wood is so beautiful, happy to tune in until the end.
Next time, you should try yellow orbeez in yellow resin paired with a warm toned wood to create a honeycomb type pot. ~
Beautiful work as always!
*In my most affectionate voice* This man is an absolute woodworking DORK
A smaller version, filled with resin could make interesting coasters.
Michelle Abrahmz ps.. i like your tat
@@threwthelookingglass7194 Thank you. Not my idea obs, but my design.
Michelle Abrahmz i got one on each shoulder.. and my star in the center.. ?obs?.
@@threwthelookingglass7194 obs. obviously it's not my original idea :)
I Think what you should do is maybe make another, But make it with a metallic black resin! Then what you could do is cut off a slab like you did in this video, and fill it with a silver or a gold and use it for an inlay on a bowl. I Think it would look really nice!
That would be gorgeous.
It really would be, wouldn't it? =]
that's a great idea... wow especially like the thought of that and that zebra wood
Really great idea! I hope he tries it.
Hopefully so! I See he's hearted the comment. Thanks for the feedback guys! =]
Is it bad that I would now like to see Nick make a good sized orb with marbles in it?
I mean just think of it, the clear marbles that have the little color swirls in them, in a ball of resin that is also lightly swirled with color. Seems pretty funky to me.
Is it weird that i think he's super goofy & Hot at the same time?
eli lilililian no he’s totally a hot daddy 😍
Yes it is a little weird
Hehehe, nah he's pretty nice looking.
eli lilililian
yeah its kinda weird but same lol
Yes
I find your videos super relaxing to watch and your artwork beautiful. Not sure why UA-cam recommended your videos to me but glad it did. It's really helping my anxiety watching your art and making me smile. Thanks for sharing your creative process
I would love to see some of that orbeez resin included in some sort of lampshade. I'm just imagining the awesome patterns it would cast on a wall or ceiling :)
woah slow down. that would be too cool actually
Claudia Sketches that is an awesome idea or something similar that would cast off colors on the ceiling and walls great idea
Right! I thought that would be a great use of it if he decided to slice the whole thing.
Then fill each slice with a transparent color epoxy or just leave the holes. Either way would be a very interesting lamp shade.
And he could have used the bottom where the orbeez didnt fall out as the base of the lamp... on top of some of that zebra wood.
oh my word... I AM not wood working.
I get bored half way thru and give up.
But now I'm thinking of wood working designs.. No!
"Remember your past Lee-Ann. Youre not going to do all of that sanding PLUS Dad sold the lathe."
Great idea!!!!
Forget the keys, clearly this is a bowl for M&M's or skittles..
however, the top piece, with the orbeez still in it, may degrade now that the corners have been shaved off and the the holes have opened.. the air will get in and the trapped orbeeez will begin to dry out, thus opening channels where the orbeez touch, this effect will migrate through the piece and the colours will fail..
Suggest you fill the external rim of holes with new epoxy, (time consuming yes considering the curved surface), but the piece will fail otherwise..
i was getting stressed out because of that same thing! when he said he was leaving it like that i was like oh no OH NO
@@yeiiid6633 but how cool would an evolving piece be?!
@@brummieinbristol522 it can just be an on going experiment.. which is what creation is all about.
With all of the effort and hard work you put in your projects it's calming to see your sense of humor. I know how turning anything into something else can be time consuming and tedious but you always seem to make the best of it. Very admirable
Why does this man only have 300k subs? His videos are gold
I was thinking the same!!
He's brill isnt he. He has 793k followers now hopefully for him it'll keep going up.
Melt crayons in the resin
Yes!!
^What Lee said.
Crayon is a horrible medium to work with... dont ask me how I know that. 😀
19:53 to 20:05 That made me laugh so hard! I never skip to the end because your videos are brilliant! I love the Orbeez bowl! Really beautiful work, Nick.
♥
Thanks for the Trypophobia warning...didn't notice until later...uuuuugghhhh
I have a serious trypopphobia as well
Dude same I had to click off the video
I just came back to the comments to see if anyone else was the same way
Wonder how the Orbeez would look with an LED puck light underneath??
"LED puck light" is a phrase that might have just changed my life.
I have to go googling now. Thanks!
I need a t-shirt that says “A little bit of Yorkshire Grit!” And another one that just says “SHELLAWAX!” In some funky pattern. Get on that, Nick. Cheers
You should call it Tryptobowl. LOL!
onlymerin
Or probably trybowlia
Great idea
Trypo-bowl
yes, what he said! Tryptobowl
I'm fine with holes, but put them on a human being, I get the heeby geebies
Heebie geebies...lol...My grandmother's favorite saying about something giving her the creeps...lol
Mixed wood shavings densely packed in resin and turned could be a good use for all those shavings.
You could make a mobile for a baby. Fill the holes back in with some clear colors. it might be kinda cool to make it turn over a light. Definitely different
I didn't skip to the end, your channel is my happy place 😀
I don’t know why people skip to the end of the video... I think it’s very satisfying to watch him carve/shave down the resin and wood.
try using pop rock candies. wondering what would happen.
Lol yes! Maybe it'll explode. Who knows. Could be fun
Lol yes! Maybe it'll explode. Who knows. Could be fun
Yesssss!! Pop rocks are always fun!!
A silly Idea, but since it is nearing Halloween,
I think little resin pumpkins and skulls within a larger resin blank would be quite Funky and Spooky
I guess you could say Fooky or Spunky?
Eww...spunky...
Love the result. I would have personally used a pipette or syringe or something to fill each individual hole in the bottom with a different color instead of doing splotches or color. I know it would have been a real challenge because resin is annoying to work with sometimes, but I think it would have looked interesting. Almost like the Orbeeez were still there. Cheap one-use pipettes might work well in those situations, if you're doing something similar in the future!
I'd love to see a honeycomb type project in the future. Maybe one of those honey pot things out of yellow transparent resin? You might be able to buy some honeycomb (or fake honeycomb) and incorporate it somehow into the honeypot project. Just and idea!
That looks so neat! I watched from the first one all the way through this second one. Way cool. I’d never have thought of that. I love the zebra wood. My dad is a wood worker and my step mom worked at a lumber yard so she was always bringing home exotic woods.
The wood is beautiful, reminds me of tigers eye stones
I like the "Honeycomb" effect, I think it will look cool! (Yes, I paused the video to post this comment) Now, back to the Scheduled Program...
I didn't skip 1 second, I Love Your Videos & I didn't want to miss anything & it turned out pretty good, I think it did anyway, I don't know about everyone else. You can't please everyone anyway cause some people Live to be Haters!
I love that Wood, it's Beautiful! I also Loved the Trading Spaces (Eddie Murphy & Dan Akroyd Version) Movie Plug!
Better Name: The Orbeez Orbiter. This was beautiful! I love it!
This whole 2 episodes is exactly how creativity happens. I so love it!
That bowl is made for storing assorted, individually wrapped, colorful, hard candies. I love it! And I still have the unexpected craving for Fruity Pebbles cereal...
Dr. Pimplepopper move aside. NICK ZAMMETI is the new kid on the block!!
Beauty Unboxed have you seen. Dr. Micha in The Gambia?
@@he-mansuncle7661 no?!
@@he-mansuncle7661 haha, better not! 😀
YES ❣💖💖💖💖💖
Could you mix the balls with part A, let them get big, then mix with part B?? That way the polamer is made with hard resin, not water :)
They do not absorb the resin at all :(
Cory Zurba maybe leave them small? and see what happens.
I didn't skip to the end of the video because of how much effort went into making this! I love you channel🌟
Who woulda thunk watching a wood turning video you could get so much entertainment and laughs AND learn something and love the end project so much. You're great Nick and thanks for the giggles.
Trypophobia is the fear of clustered holes. And it's not actually recognized as a legitimate phobia.
I suffer from it and it sucks. It's completely irrational and I know it's just my monkey brain trying to avoid infection and disease. Looking at certain hole patterns turns my stomach and makes me sweat. This video wasn't so bad. The first video was fine until he started blowing the orbeez out with compressed air.
Nightenstaff I had to explain this “fear” to my husband and googled images. Don’t do that. Seriously. Had nightmares for two days and it was just skin crawling lol...
I was looking for this comment. I do not suffer from it but it was unfortunately, the first thing I thought of when I saw this...
My mom actually developed this phobia after multiple brain surgeries. Its definitely real even if it's not recognized yet.
The journey from the beginning to end of this project was awesome! I love the funky zebra wood matched with all the colors! Definitely one of your coolest projects and turned out better than I think it would if you had a plan for it the whole time!
Me knowing damn well I have trypophobia... continues to watch the vid cause oh well it’s for Nick
I don't know why this was in my recommendations but yay I'm so glad. I find stuff like this so satisfying I can't wait to see all those orbeez pop out.
Such an awesome job! Love it! But, I have a fabulous idea... you do an amazing job turning wood. You mentioned you would like to branch out and do other things. Well, here's as idea for ya.... carve us a pumpkin for Halloween! Not on the lathe silly... (that would be to messy) just with knives and such! What d'ya think? Good idea? Great idea? Or just the right amount of weird idea?
Excellent bowl Nick n that zebra wood is lovely. Ps never skip the vids , they're too funny !!!
That wood is BEAUTIFUL!! I honestly feel it was a bit wasted on that orbeez resin. Lol.
I don’t understand the short video kinda people… six hour video? Nope, make it longer! I’m here for it all! Love watching your creations come to life! Keep up the amazing work! 🖤
What a great effect it is!! :D
I visited your web site only because I was curious and I feel really suprised in the most wonderful meaning of this word. :) I live in Poland, so everything was in my language. :D
I send your channel to my Mom-She's trying to learn English by Herself so She's learning a lot from hearing. ;) Your channel and that you are saying so many things are very helpful for Her, so I want to thank you for the way how you lead the channel and that you are talking so much. :)
Hearty greetings from Poland for you and your family. :D
6:53 funny enough, that zebra looks like your orbeez blank.
Omg this was adorable to watch! You can tell within seconds how happy this makes you 😊
Lmfao!! The cutaways and sound effects kill me everytime 😂
That first slice reminded me of the moon. I think it would have made a cool nightlight or something!
Same, I'd have spent some time on experimenting with ways of making that honeycomb in resin and ways to remove the Orbeez to leave the holes empty...
oooh, there's an idea:
make a new orbeez blank same as this one in white resin, cut off a slice, set it in a piece of wood, then fill the holes with metallic grey's of differing darkness.. totally moon craters.. for extra depth, allow some of the orbeez to partially shrink before adding the resin, then you'll have different size 'craters'..
Oh wow, that is cool! Why would anyone skip to the end... tht would be a travisty. I love long videos.
I love the faces, the sound effects, and the goofiness. These projects are so fun tooo watch being created
i love watching these type of videos, with the trypophobia warning i really really appricate it. i still listened to it to count as a view
Its so cool! Make a sun catcher out of it. For one of the kids window. Lovely video nick.👍👍👍👍
I have a request/suggestion
A resin cameo set in wood as a pendant/pin to wear on a lovely wooden beaded necklace or remove to wear on clothing? Is this too girly or to small to be worth your time?
Did the orbeez shrink from the top piece? I fear that the holes will allow air in and make them shrink
IS IT WEIRD THAT I WATCH THESE VIDOES TO HELP ME SLEEP I FIND THEM SO RELAXING AND SATISYING PLUS THEIRS NOT ALOT OF ACTION SO ITS NICE AND “PEACFULL” LOVE YOUR CHANNEL
O my me too
I try, but I can't sleep until I se what the result is 😂
And he's so silly, love it ❤️
Akehap Kap oh I’ve already seen all his videos I re watch them and then fall asleep to them
I incorporated the words "waffle on" and "funky" into my daily life
You really try stabilising some orbies with cactus 🌵 juice in a vacuum chamber and if the absorb it you can then set it in resin. 😁
I LOVE the not-perfect holes! And that zebra wood is GORRRRGEOUS! One of the most interesting experiments I've seen :-)
i would totally buy this,seeming how i lack some of the power tools to make it. XD such a beautiful piece!!!
Wasn’t sure You could use it for something, but you did. Nice job❤️
I love your video's you throw in some comedy and makes my day happier thank you for that
This was incredibly mesmerizing!!!! Loved seeing the process of it being made!!! Great job!!!!
The air gun popping them out towards the camera… satisfying AF!
A honeycomb-like sphere would look pretty cool 🤔😄
Perhaps in a balloon...
That wood you chosen is amazing looking.
I love watching creative people try new things and be hilarious and self effacing is a bonus. And speaking for myself I am less interested in experiments and more interested in how you approach them
Thank you so much for the video’s. My wife and I have really enjoyed them. You have inspired us to take “challenges” with turning and even post a few video’s ourselves. Thank you again.
After today, I needed this so bad! It's sooooo SATISFYING to watch the gorgeous end of the ORBEEZ Experiment! I am so glad there were Orbeez for you to play with in this.... 20:02 is the moment I actually died laughing. Seriously! And that heavenly wood....so glad you saved the shavings because mix those with resin and you get even MORE!!! O_O What if you mixed unwatered orbeez into resin WITH a little of the Zeeeebra wood shavings? I know you already thought of that....Just, thank you for brightening my day. :) The result is beautiful! :)
Watched both videos and loved the project , thought if glow in the dark resin in the holes👍
Nick, my four year old and have lots of fun watching your videos. Such a great and very entertaining way to get the young ones interested in how to make fun, sometimes bizarre and creative things! Thanks for putting on a good show, Jereme and Claire from KS!
I must say that this is one of my favorite pieces you've done so far. Great work!
I love your videos!! ❤️❤️
I just want to pull out every one of those. Just looks satisfying.
Me: "oh my goodness. I love it"
Someone else: "ahhh there are tiny holes!"
Haha
Nice video good sir.
So I've been watching your videos for a solid... 2 days? And i love the heads up/ warnings in the titles. Thank you for all the care you put into these
The wood is so beautiful..
I can't believe you managed to make something so lovely out of it in the end. Amazing!
Fascinating. I’ve never watched wood turning, so thanks a lot for making me think of yet another time-consuming and expensive equipment-intensive hobby to look into. Yeah, thanks a lot! 😜😆😜
That wood is so spectacular by itself, though, I wish you had used something of a more solid color in which to set the resin pieces, and let the zebrawood stand on its own as something separate. Fun experiment, though!
Fun fact after a long time orbeez start to smell bad don't leave them in the water for to Long
Why do I find your videos so satisfying to watch. I love watching what you do with the resin. You are pretty funny too, in a dad kinda way 🤦🏻♀️
Absolutely gorgeous bowl! My 7 year old son and I, love watching your funny videos. You aren’t afraid to try experimenting with different mediums which may or may not work, however you manage to make lovely pieces either way. Thank you 🙏 for sharing.
The Yorkshire Grit was hidden again yay! :D
Finally a new video 🔥
I couldn’t wait to see the results and you didn’t disappoint. Another wonderful work of art❣️
