Fixing a stuck trunk handle on a Mercedes E280 W211 sedan

- In this video, we're taking a part a trunk handle on a 2007 W211 Mercedes-Benz E280 CDI
The aluminum shaft in the handle oxidized and expanded, thus making the handle stick in the open position. Luckily by just cleaning it and greasing the moving parts it works like new now.

Think I will just leave it the way it is
I cannot get the plastic shell off the back of the cylinder lock. Can't pull/twist by hand or pry it off. Tips? Got it by prying harder👍
Soak it with penetrating oil.
Try gently tapping it with a screwdriver to knock it loose.
Could also use a fan to gently heat it up.

What was the point of clicking that wire in the trunk lock trying to fix mine rn
By clicling the trunk handle release switch, I made sure that the release actuator is working as it should and the problem is only in the trunk handle mechanism.

Can I ask if the w211 e280 manual gasoline car is very rare?
My one is a E280 CDI
The manuals are quite rare, especially the V6 and inline 6 engines
What is the point of the video? You just show u in fast motion do uhh who knows?
you can slow down the speed of the video (bottom right of the screen to 0.5) and mute the sound as that will slow down the music as well and drive you nutz but at least you can see things slowly. Hope that helps.
